I don’t think Alaska coordinates with Kayak. I did not get a “check-in” email inviting me to check in 24 hours in advance. Had to wait 20+ minutes to get a wheel chair.

Alaska Airlines has horrible customer service. After sitting in a packed airplane for over an hour, they decided to cancel our flight and had us deplane. Instead of helping us nearby, we had to ride two trains (in Seattle Airport), from the S-Gates to the C-Gates; only to stand in a line for 3 and a half hours. Throughout the 3 hours, there was often 1 agent at the customer service counter to help the passengers trying to get information and accommodation on a flight that they cancelled. Do better!

The plane was delayed which was annoying. No seat back screens is a bummer. Staff if great

I got my seat changed last minute so a parent coumd sit with their child wich i found out was a teenager

See previous. It was the flight from Honolulu to Kapalua that was cancelled.

Poor, the last leg of our trip was cancelled and we didn't know about it until we arrived at the airport. Another flight on the same airline was not available until three days later which would have ruined our vacation. Luckily we were able to get re-blooked on another airline after spending hours at the airport.

I wish you would have just canceled the Saturday flight from sea to rdd on Dec 13. the diversion cost me more time and money than if I had just rebooked to Sacramento. It was a huge headache and cost.

The delays were awful and the constant gate changes were annoying and the forceful bag checking was rude.

The flight attendants were excellent and I was in the back of the plane. Much much better than recent JetBlue experiences on that route and better than Delta on that route.

I’m not sure there is anything that can be improved, even the cost was fantastic.

My flying experience was not great. The temperature was ridiculously low. I had a sweater and a big jacket and even then. Since my ticket was an economy ticket, I suppose I didn’t deserve a blanket as they were only available for business. The result, o got a cold I have not been able to shake off in 6 days which has absolutely ruined my stay in Japan as I hasn’t had the chance to leave my hotel room. Everything else that was good, had overshadowed by this. BE A LITTLE MORE HUMAN

The food was not as good as Air New Zealand. The veg pasta was pass-able but the veg cibotta sandwich was dry, hard and not up to par. The coach staff were attentive and accommodating.

Air conditioning was turned to the wrong setting. Way too hot. The entertainment system kept resetting and didn’t work half the flight. Said something to the crew. They didn’t do anything to help. Plane had a mechanical problem that resulted in 2.5 hour delay. Boarded the plane, had to disembark and get back on.

Flight was delayed by 2 hours. Got lucky that i had a long connection, else would have certainly missed my connecting flight. Food is just okay, specially the breakfast is worse . Asked for water 30 mins before landing, the response is that we are landing so everything is packed . I guess traveling in economy that’s what we get. Probably business class passengers would get a different answer. Only good thing is that wifi service is available from auckland to lax for most part Next time will try united or American and then compare.

I was trying to get confirmation on if my luggage was going to be moved to the earlier flight (I requested standby to get home earlier) and was unable to get help from those working at the counter. The request to be moved to an earlier flight was handled smoothly through the app and appreciate the ease of the request.

They are my favourite airline in the world by a million miles.

Kayak did not propagate my United miles account and I had to manually get credit.

Like: Aircraft was better than others I've flown in. Crew was great, food was very good. Air New Zealand is now my favorite airline. On our long flight from AKL to YVR there was enough room for those of us in Economy to stretch a bit. My sister is disabled and they took very good care of her and me. Best entertainment offering of all the other airlines. Not so much; Flight from AKL to YRV was delayed BUT they recovered really well so no complaints here. Pretty petty point to complain about. Only negative I have. I will recommend to friends.

Nice friendly staff and crew. Love the 787 flight. Get meals and lots of drinks!

Great entertainment options on the screen. uSB A and C chargers. Free WiFi! Crew were excellent.

I liked the Starlink WiFi but didn't like how they said they were the only airline to offer a free meal and it turns out to be just a standalone sandwich and then charge for snacks to go with it. Rather have the free snacks like Southwest, but have the option to purchase a decent meal for a 5+ hour flight.

Flight scheduled to take off at 5.55pm but it did not take off until 7pm due to some food delivery delay.

Unfortunately, I was put into the middle seat in the first row of premium seating. Sounds nice right? No! that is the worst seat in the plane. I wish I was in economy rather than be in that seat! There is no seat back pocket, no tray table, no charger. Nothing! so unless you're row mates are willing to let you share their basic amenities any flyer should have, you are stuck. It was the worst experience ever! And the flight attendant forgot to take my drink order. I felt like the forgotten flyer.

Delayed and cancelled flights were hard and very stressful, both ways!

The crew was quite good, they came by often with drinks or to collect trash. But what wasn't nice was the flight was over weigh and several people had to be rebooked. I was questioned whether I should have a seat when I was getting to it. The in-flight entertainment kept buffering and interrupting. And the route took the airplane through high winds which caused us a longer flight

Wasn’t on the flight due to Alaska cancellation…also after all the rerouting, I was going to be on a later flight that left SFO at 7:47pm, which meant an almost 6 hour layover. That same Hawaiian flight was delayed for another 2hours.

I had to cancel the flight because with a 3 hour delay for 'unexpected maintenance' in getting to LAX, I couldn't connect to an overseas flight that I had booked on Scandinavian Air.

The flight was CANCELED!!! Can’t get much more “poor” than that. I had to switch to American Airlines, add another layover and got home in Honolulu 4 hours later than I was supposed to be home. One bright spot was Josh with Alaska Airlines at SFO. He got me on a United Flight that got me home a few hours before I would have. Without him I would have gotten home almost 7 hours after my originally scheduled flight.

Canceled my flight within 24 hours, causing me arriving home midnight. Will never book Hawaiian airlines anymore

I like Hawaiian, it was great that they had good internet connection across the Pacific Ocean, thanks to Star Link satellites. The seating was comfortable, ( I was in economy ). Maybe I missed it, but I only got offered a beverage once. It was a nonstop flight KOA to SMF. I would take it again next time I go that way.
