Cons: "There is always some sort of problem. When I was in San Pedro they said the flight was delayed, then it never came. They did accommodate me with a hotel for the night which was nice after almost losing my job. The last and final time I used this airline I was at JFK 2 hours and 45 minutes ahead of time. I was there at 11:45 for a 2:20 flight. They told me I had missed my flight because I wasn't there 3 hours early. No where on my ticket did it say anything about that. There was a lot of people complaining and then they told me since I "missed' my flight I had to by a new ticket on the spot, leaving me with no option and a heafty fee."

Since no one took that offer they ended up rescheduling it and stopping in other places to ale up for the lack of space, what was suppose to be a 6 hour flight turn in a 12 hour flight."

They proceeded to tell us that our only option was to stay the night and take another flight the next day. Us and 10 other people had to get into an argument with the staff in order for something to be done. After begging, they finally said they would put us on an earlier flight the following morning and they put us in a hotel. The staff did not care about us or our missed flight/wasted money that we paid for the hotel at our destination that night. It took 30 minutes for a manager to give us the time of day. Horrible experience. It's really shocking that this is how the company treats its customers."

Cons: "The flight was delayed out of JFK for some unknown reason (definitely not weather or missing plane since it was the first flight of the morning). Several passengers were told their connecting flight would definitely be held for them. A few of us asked for a guarantee because we would rather pay to rebook another flight than get stuck, and the gate attendents at JFK said it was certain we would make our flights. Once we got to El Salvador we were told they never intended to hold our flights. Avianca agents there told the handful of us going to Cancun we we're rebooked on Copa Airline and would have to go to Panama first, then Cancun, and arrive around 10 pm instead of 11 am. Other passengers were stuck in El Salvador for even longer. For our trouble, they only offered a $70 voucher for Avianca which is essentially useless to most of us since it has extensive restrictions. On top of this, the plane seating was small and the food was terrible. When we got switched to Copa there was at least slightly more leg room and better food. Do not fly Avianca!!"

I was able to board and travel but I had to sneak out of the actual line and show my visa appointment receipt to a latam staff person. It was very hard to talk to the staff most of them were just screaming "go to the line" and were not really keen to listening to what passengers had to say. I found a latam person that wasn't really dealing with this situation and managed to get him to talk to other latam staff about my visa appointment. It was pretty stressful for me to have to deal with the possibility of missing such an important event without a good reason."

No one was at the gate; waited a long time to speak with a representative. They booked me on the next morning flight from JFK, but sent me to a hotel in Long Island - 1 1/2 by bus that was jammed and overheated. Hotel was old, not kept up and food and service bad. Bus driver could not tell me for sure what time we were going to be picked up in the morning - maybe 6:30 AM? I was told. No one at the gate gave me this information either. I was ready at 6:15 AM and the bus was full. I waited for second bus. No breakfast at the hotel. Flight to Santiago was uneventful and crew during the flight were polite."

The seats barely recline and in Economy leg room is comparable to AA flights going to South America (which is pretty bad). Forget about sleeping. I had some hopes for the food but it disappointed too. Breakfast, for example, was essentially a warm sandwich with a paper thin layer of ham and cheese. They stuff you with bread. Had a much better experience flying sister company TAM."

To find out the I have lost the plane. I went and talk to management after a few minutes of conversation nothing happen I have lost my plane my money . I am very frustrated sad because it was not a plesiosaur trip My mother was sick and I needed to see her take her to the Doctor. Had to borrow money from a family member to continue my trip. On my way back I try to check And I was Unable to do so. I arrived to the Airport to find OUT that they cancel my way back too!!!!!! I had to borrow money Again!!!! And stay in the Airport for 8 hrs! This was my experience my lost money time family worried about me and my sister.I had No signal in my phone due to the poor Cituation of this country went I'm able to check my fly with you KAYAK notice the right gate number and time went the plane was living. The attitude of management from Aeromexico was so rude And disrespectful. I will never use them again."

Will never fly Aeromexico AGAIN!!! Worse day ever and TSA took my girlfriend iPhone during the 7 times they went through our stuff !!"

AM seats do not provide a footrest, and there is the lack of the IFE, which on a longer flight like mex-tij could have made the flight more enjoyable. Food, AM domestic business class food options are not the best, it was a turkey/cheese sandwich on a white bread with heavy mayo, and milk rice-while delicious, also very heavy on the sugar"

Cons: "The staff was rude. Never in my life have I been treated this disrespectful. I felt very offended by the staffs attitude and actions to the point I felt discriminated because of my religion. Yearly my church flys with Aeromexico to Mexico and I've never had a problem but this year I felt very targeted . As I was checking in they told me that my luggage was 2 pounds over the weight they direct us to have it so the employee told us to go and take some items out , we moved from the line and he 'shooed' us away saying "no go all the way back" we did and when we tried to go back to check in another employee cut me off from going in line and told us she didn't care for what I had to say and to return to the back of the line. At this point I was already worked up from their behavior and my mother whom was traveling with me tried to calm me down. As we get to the from of the line the SAME guy who 'shooed' us had a customer who had an over weight luggage , BUT let him take out item right there and then with his luggage on the scale . Well my mother got upset because we didn't know what it consisted of to have that privilege. We get attended by the employee who cut me off and my luggage was still 1 pound over the weight limit and she instructed us to get out and take items out , we expressed to her that it wasn't fair how other people who were flying got the advantage of just doing it there and we asked why . She denied ever doing that and said to go with the employee who did that because she refused to attend us . We asked another employee if we could speak to a supervisor and we were being persisted but she would ignore us and walk away from us . We couldn't believe how badly they were treating us. So we then went on to go with the employee who 'shooed' my mother and I and asked him why did he give special privileges to other people flying and was discriminated us , he literally told us "what discrimination? You guys need to relax. What do you want? Do you want me to attend you or what? I have other people waiting" he checked us in and NEVER saw or spoke to a supervisor . The BEST option they could get for us was for us to drive 3 hours to another airport at 1am to catch a 6am flight and 2 additional flights after that with another airline. We were told that when we arrived at the Austin airport, that a representative could refund us the money for the car rental before our flight. However, there was nobody at the Aeromexico counter at the airport. We called the "Customer Service" number and the lady could not help us at all in ANY way except for offering to sell us another ticket.... needless to say, worst customer service experience. When we arrived, our bags (which were carry-ons that were taken from us at the gate) didn't make it with us on the flight, so we had to wait another 2 hours at the airport for our bags. Needless to say, worst travel experience ever."

Don't fly them. Stick with an Airline from America they can help you better and you gat a way better deal. And they don't nickel and dime you for everything. And there is ppl there to help you. My 1st and last time any Mexican Airline

They made us pay $20 for each carry on bag that we take for free on every other flight. The flight was 2 hours late. There was nothing free on the flight, no water, pretzels, nothing. It was a 2 hour flight and the crew sped through the cabin serving things that nobody bought. The Airbus 320 had absolutely no screens on the back of seats, no inflight entertainment or information. Bare bones service, not pleasant.

Great flight with a great crew. So cheap and yet so wonderfully fulfilling. Wish other airlines were this comfortable and well run.

Once on the flight- you can adjust your seat which for me wasn’t a big deal at 5’1” but any taller would be an issue. You pay for even water on this flight."
