Cons: Spaces for seats in the economy class are shrinking. With Swiss Air, seems more so as the seats recline quite a bit which is of course good for an 8-9 hours flight. However if the passenger in front of you reclines their seats, you absolutely are forced to recline yours immediately, otherwise no one will fit. Flight attendants have to ask passengers to put the seats back from reclining during meal service so people can open the food tray and are able to access it, that is how much the seats tilt.

Cons: They rebooked me on a later flight this same day. This flight to Geneva (change of airports) was late and the flight to Vienna took off with no passengers from our flight, after we were told it would wait. ' I paid for premium seats and did not get rebooked for the same. I am sitting in the Geneva airport for 7 and 1/2 hours, losing my meetings in Vienna. I never expected such poor service from Swissair.

Pros: The next best thing to the hard-working and kind crew was the lighting design. Meals were OK, and I was delighted that the vegan meals I ordered for my travel companion were right there as ordered. Not a common occurrence of late, I’m afraid, so I congratulate Swiss one getting this one right.
Cons: Legroom is non-existent. This was by far the most uncomfortable aircraft I have ever flown on, with the possible exception of an Ilyushin 62 operated by Tarom in 1983. I felt bad for the man in front of me, with my knees in his back. That is, until he reclined his seat and put my video screen in my face. Not much to watch anyway, but it was impossible to lean forward at all. Boarding at JFK was rather chaotic.

Pros: Swiss has the most cheerful crews I've seen, and their enthusiasm is infectious which makes it easier to tolerate being cramped in a plane for hours. Also, I love that they give you a Swiss chocolate at the en of the flight.

Cons: While I was on line to board, a flight assistant came to me and asked me if I was flying by myself. When I said yes. they upgraded me to business class. I boarded the plane and took my seat. Shortly before taking off, another flight attendant came to me, told me they made a mistake, and sent me back to my original economy seat (while I was holding my new business boarding pass that they gave me). When I told them they should remedy somehow their mistake, they said they did not have any other extra seat in business and that there was nothing they could do. They did not apologize. They were quite unprofessional and rude. I fly often and I have never experienced something so unprofessional and rude. Alitalia is far better than Swissair in terms of professionalism and of politeness. I will always discourage anyone from flying Swissair. Worst company ever.

Cons: As a person of color I didn't feel that I received the same warm welcome from some of the attendants. For example the expression on their faces were blank when I said hello. I picked up my food tray and gave it to the attendants very politely. She just took it out of my hand. When the passenger next to me did the same she said thank you very politely. He was Caucasian. Some were very friendly and polite.

Cons: My entertainment system would not turn off, which made it difficult for me to fall asleep. I asked a flight attendant for help and she said she would reset it. However, the reset did not work and she never came back to verify whether or not it had solved the situation. I finally gave up and put a blanket over the screen. Furthermore, the meal service was very slow. It seemed as if most of the staff was very young and likely inexperienced. Perhaps it would be better to mix younger, less experienced staff with more seasoned staff. I flew three other Swiss flights during my European vacation and the service was much faster. Incidentally, most of the staff on these other flights were older and probably more experienced.

Cons: There is little that can be done to make a long haul flight comfortable when a baby is screaming and crying for it's entire duration. Its behaviour cannot be helped. But it certainly didn't make the flight comfortable, nor did the young child kicking incessantly at the back of my and my daughter's seats. This could have occurred on any flight, but it didn't contribute to having a positive experience on this one. The flight attendant serving breakfast completely ignored that fact that I was awake and strolled past without asking if I would like anything as meals were being served. I informed another flight attendant that we hadn't been offered breakfast and she was able to provide us with meals. Besides this the cabin crew were courteous and pleasant. I've flown with Swiss on other occasions and have had better experiences. I'd like to think this was just a one off and not representative of the level of service that Swiss normally provides.

However, because of the diplomatic row between Turkey and the U.S., my daughter was refused entry into Turkey. Turkish airlines' policy was to refund the ticket of any American caught in this row. They said they will refund my one month old daughter's ticket. However, my wife and i will not receive a refund. We bought the three tickets together. Our ticket numbers ended in 235...51, 235...52, and 235...53. However, they will not refund our whole money by cancelling the ticket but only that of my daughter. So this is the question: Does Turkish airline want me to leave my one-month old baby in the U.S. and tavel with my wife to Turkey? What kind of parents will we be if we were to abandon our daughter to take a trip to Turkey. Even, the people in Turkish airlines will judge us evil parents, yet that was exactly the only option they gave us. Lose your daughter or lose your ticket money. They will not even just change our iternary or give us another destination we suggested without penalties which are almost 3/4 of our initial ticket price. They just made away with our money. You cannot say, 'We are cancelling tickets for American citizens' but make no exception for parents of infant citizens. This is the height of criminality. So, me and my family couldn't take the flight and lost $1500. We had to buy another ticket by airfloat to get to Georgia. But Turkish airlines refused to even contact us on the refund for my daughter. A truly criminal enterprise.
Cons: They had a vague refund policy for Americans, forgetting that American infants can also have none-American parents who are as much victims in this as the American infant. For them to be myopic and keep repeating talking points of their refund policy is unfortunate to say the least.

Pros: The flight was good. The food was good and the air hostesses were courteous. There was fair leg space in the economy flight and entertainment was also good. However, the negatives far outweighed these positives.
Cons: The layover arrangements were a shame. No proper accommodation was provided despite having over a 24 hour wait period. I along with other passengers were stacked in dorm style non barricaded rooms in 1.5ft wide beds like animals. It was in total poor taste. Half the Turkish Air employees I approached at the Airport for help with directions and clarifications were dismissive to the point of being obnoxious. Walking through the airport, all I could think was what a disorganized and hard to navigate airport it was. It was an unpleasant experience and I will never recommend Turkish Airline to anyone. It was my first Turkish air, and it will be my last.

We had a 19 hour lay-over, pleasantly spent in a new, very comfortable hotel to which we were shuttled and from which we were returned to the airport the next morning -- hotel/shuttle comped, as was the impressive breakfast at the hotel. The flight attendant wasn’t super nice about it either, she just said you have to order it online. But at no point I got an email saying, if you want something different than what we offer, tell us! So that was pretty annoying...

Cons: You really need to either have no legs or be 5’6” or less to fit in the seat without angling sideways. But alas SAS is no worse than the competitors in this department. Crew served meal 2.5 hours into 9 hour flight and about an hour after complimentary drink. My can of Coke was well gone when the mediocre dinner arrived and I got an earful for daring to ask for another one. It finally arrived after dinner with the creditcard machine etc. Yes, it was $4.00. I passed. As the coffee service was in full swing.

Even though the lights were dimmed I couldn't actually sleep, since the lights were turned back on too often to try to pass out breakfast less than 4 hours after we just had dinner.

Cons: This is my first international flight that didn't include complimentary beverages. No free wine or alcohol, and only ONE complimentary beverage on the entire 9 hour flight! They only came around ONCE with the beverage cart! (and this was like an hour and a half before they served dinner, which didn't include a drink). They also only came around and offered water ONCE on the flight. Normally this would be every 1-2 hours. Also, the flight was delayed by about 2 hours, and they didn't make an announcement until we were about an hour late. Thankfully, I was getting updates from Kayak, or else I wouldn't have even known we were delayed.

Not bad in and of itself but they only gave me a few hours notice that my flight was changed (email sent at 1 AM on a 7 AM flight) and I lost my already paid for upgrade to premium economy. They couldn't find any record of me having purchased an upgrade when I went to check in on my 5+ hour flight.

Cons: Seats were atrociously uncomfortable for a 6'1" man. Less than zero leg room due to ridiculously tight row spacing and non-reclining seatbacks. Had to attempt to cram in sideways - resulting in serious pain by the time the flight finally landed. Intercom system, especially from the captain, was painfully grating and loud. Boarding was extremely slow, in part because gate personnel made no effort whatsoever to police and enforce the four-group boarding process (premium - no carry-on - group A - group B). People boarded whenever they felt like it, many carrying on huge backpacks and multiple other pieces. Will definitely avoid TAP in future.

It had a link to pay for 'additional services' but not luggage. At the time of booking, I checked and the price given was $35. So, I have protested the additional $55 with my CC company and will see what happens. BTW the luggage was not overweight. They turned off all the lights, including my personal reading lamp, so I could not read and had to just sit there doing nothing. That really blew big chunks. I only got two small glasses of wine.

Afterwards we saw the crew eating while we were left with no food or drink service. It turns out they could have served but preferred to adhere to their union under the guise of passenger safety and remain seated the entire flight doing crossword puzzles and the like which definitely made me feel much safer.

For us, we started with one movie, but then due to technical difficulties, the crew had to reboot the entire system. So once it was back up and running, they switched the movie. And even that one didn't play through....apparently, at some point they determine its "bedtime" and turn off the IFE!! Crazy in this day and age!!! Also, the plane is old and REALLY worn. Lots of dirt, tired seats, yucky bathrooms, etc. This plane needs an overhaul!! No storage anywhere in the seats either, which was shocking. And the angle lay flat seats are certainly fantastic in comparison to Coach seats, but still hard to sleep and get comfortable.

Then we were told to return to the airport the next day for a 2pm rescheduled flight only to find no Air Europa workers even there, and that we'd be put on the 10pm flight for that night, combined with people already on that one. Virtually no compensation nor apology with the exception of ONE worker who joined the air europa staff that afternoon during the re-check in process. Once finally on the aircraft, we left an hour late, as well. Upon arrival in Madrid, spent a long time searching for the way to get compensation back for my taxi rides, and was given options to do online, call, etc., so the process is still ongoing. I will think twice before flying with them again!

Cons: the flight kept getting delayed. There was NO AIr Europa represtentatives at the airport. Telephoning them was not helpful. They either hung up on me or kept saying to call back later. Flight ended up being cancelled. Shuttle busses to hotel, which was a a full hour away took us hours to get to. Arrived at hotel at 5 am! Return was said to be at 10am but wasn't until noon for what they told us would be a 3 pm flight. Ongoing lies. Flight didnt leave until 10:30 pm and then there was a 45 min delay on the plane. Plus lots of waiting in lines all day. It was horrible. Missed a full 24hrs in madrid. Hope to get some money back as compensation.

Pros: Food was good, service was great. Seemed like a brand new plane.

Pros: Went to Barcalona for a wedding, Air Europa was the best price by far. We didn't get delayed once and our checked luggage made the transfer in Madrid.

Pros: The Flight Attendants were attentive to our needs, friendly
Cons: Unfortunately, there just wasn't enough leg room

Pros: It was a regular airplane.
Cons: I didn't like how there was no space for such a long flight. I also didn't like how long it took to receive my bag in Madrid (almost 45mins)

Pros: I'm sorry,but,I don't show up to the airport,I can't traveling,was very sick

Cons: change equipment and route. no longer mad to jfk and jfk to mad, added sdq, did not notify ticketed passengers in advance, plane laned 1 hour late from sdq, left 2 hours late from jfk, the movie screens were not work at any seat on the plance, take you android and watch tv,
