Pros: "3 hours delay"
Cons: "Be on time."
Cons: "I was caught off guard to find out at time of check-in that I had to pay a substantial amount for carry-on when I had specifically asked for a carry-on not just a personal item when booking my reservation. I ended up paying more than saving where I could gone with another company.VERY DISAPPOINTED"
Pros: "Very polite"
Cons: "Nothing. This’s my first trip with Porter. Excellent in everything."
Cons: "Boarding was confusing"
Pros: "Only 15 minutes late and nice new clean plane"
Cons: "No entertainment No lounge No food"
Cons: "Due to unforeseen circumstances, we arrived at 9:00 for a 10:10 flight, and so were not allowed to try to go through customs to make the flight. When we asked if they could put us on the next flight and we'd pay the $100 plus dollars each to do so, as we realized that we were at fault for arriving late, we were told that they wouldn't do this for us because we had booked through Kayak and not through Porter directly. We were then told that we would have to pay full price for new tickets, over $800. I can't afford to pay another $800 and told them so. I realized we were late, but to be told that they could do nothing for us was horrible. They finally said they'd do it after we told them about our horrendous experience with them on our flight to New York, but then wouldn't let us take our carry on luggage on the flight and charged us a further $60 to put it in the hold. We were then told that they could only get us as far as Toronto, (AFTER we'd paid the extra money) and we'd have to find another way home from there. We live in Ottawa, that's a 6 hour drive, and neither I nor my son drive. It was an absolute nightmare getting back from Toronto, and we didn't get home until 1:00 a.m. Shame on you Kayak and Porter airlines. Our flight to New York was a nightmare (see my other email) and so was our flight home. I know you won't do anything about this and don't care about your customers, but I can assure you that I will be posting as many negative things that I can on social media, and will tell everyone I know never to fly with Porter airlines. Shame on you."

Cons: "Since it's a small bombardier the leg space is pretty restricted.. only adjustable for short flights"

Pros: "The flight attendants were nice and pleasant"
Pros: "They keep us updated at all times about the delays"

Pros: "Convenience to island airport in Toronto (that’s it)"
Cons: "Delayed flights to and from YTZ-EWR (due to missing crew members) Aircraft felt like it was shaking and floor vibrating the whole time (uncomfortable) Problems boarding, Porter did not check passports and allowed two passengers to board with expired passports so they had to be ejected off the aircraft once boarding was complete and took 40+ mins to find their bags Rude staff on the surround sound and when I asked for a bottle of water I would rather pay LESS and take the UP express to Pearson than EVER fly Porter again"
Pros: "Good service. Thanks"
Pros: "I have flown on Porter numerous time but this was the first for my family. They enjoyed the Porter lounge and convenience of flying from the Toronto island right into EWR. We were able to take the NJ Train right to Penn Station (NYC) faster than any taxi."
Pros: "Either my mistake or a computer glitch gave me a ticket for an evening flight when I was looking for a morning flight. I was able to avoid switching fees by showing up at the airport for the first flight, and I was able to be seated comfortably. The staff at the check in was very nice and helpful. There is no entertainment so I gave that a one. On the short flight that I was on there was a choice of snacks, I chose almonds, thank you very much for the almonds and beverage. Happy travels, everyone!"
Cons: "They wanted me to check my carry on which could easily have fit under the seat in front of me."
Pros: "Lounge Wine"
Pros: "Why would you go any other way? Dependable service, complimentary in-flight wine, the world's best shortbread cookies, breeze through customs and the arrival gate is within walking distance of your hotel."
Cons: "Are you kidding?"
Pros: "porter gives clients a civilized treatment because of its smallness and amenities"
Pros: "Great service! Attentive staff. Fabulous free lounges with drinks and snacks. Cappuccino in real cups in Toronto. Free wine and beer on flights. Real glasses on flights and in Toronto lounge. Gate agents were friendly and so helpful. Nrwark had a nice smaller lounge. Lots of legroom on flights."

Pros: "When we went to check in counter we were early enough to get on the flight before ours and we arrived hour and half earlier Make sure your carry on bag is 9kgs or less or you will have to pay to check it"
Cons: "Only 1 Agent at check in. Took a while to get through the line. Flight delayed."
Cons: "Delayed for 60 min. Thought I was miss my connecting flight but it was also delayed...by 90 min!!!!"
Cons: "We've been sitting on the ground in Toronto for an hour. When we landed they said no gates were available, which is moronic."
Pros: "Friendly, nice"
Cons: "Had to wait for luggage"
Cons: "Very bumpyyyyyyyyyyy"
Pros: "Staff was friendly and helpful. Flight went very smoothly with no hassle. Have flown with many airlines and porter is definitely one of the best I've seen for a long time."

Cons: "No coffee"
Pros: "Flight was only delayed 20 minutes."
Pros: "Very nice crew, good snack and drinks."
Cons: "LGA, the start was delay because of traffic jam...we spent 1 hr in the plane taxing."
Pros: "The boarding process was very unorganized."
Cons: "The 7:30 flight was canceled."
Pros: "comfortable seats, wifi entertainment"
Cons: "Unable to upgrade delta flight because it was a westjet code share flight, westjet unable to upgrade delta flight because it was to be done on delta servers. I was finally able to upgrade at the delta check-in counter for a higher fee than usual (ontop of the perfered seat upgrade I already paid for). I waited 1.5hrs after takeoff before I called staff for a drink. Over 2hrs before they officially started serving main cabin drinks and snacks. There was some turbulence but they could have served people by hand without the cart. They had no problem serving first class before, during and after takeoff."
Pros: "Flight was smooth and landed 17 minutes earlier. Bags arrived before I was in front of baggage area."
Pros: "Easy to change flight same day to one flight earlier."
Cons: "Forced me to check in my (undersized) duffel bag carry on. Then forgot To load the bag onto the plane. WestJet cited a questionable and unlikely reason, that the bag was not loaded due to baggage to passenger weight ratio for safety reasons, even though flight was far from full with multiple empty rows. Plus there was a grand total of only approximately 12 pieces of baggage at the carousel. Also the plane’s auxiliary power generator was broken, which meant no a/c while on the tarmac before and after takeoff. Cabin was warm though not intolerable, however led to delays at both origin and destination airport due to having to wait for an external power supply truck. No in flight service due to supposed turbulence. Which would have been fine, except there really wasn’t much turbulence. Didn’t affect me, but my neighbor’s entertainment system was broken. However, these multiple issues and the broken power generator makes me wonder about what other maintenance issues have been overlooked or not addressed. Most of all I was offended by the clear lack of honesty about my baggage. If there really was a weight limit safety issue despite the plane being far from maximum capacity, then there are much bigger issues with the plane that makes me never want to fly WestJet again. But don’t insult your passengers by lying to cover up your carelessness. My baggage arrived on the following (my original) flight, but that which was delayed by nearly two hours. I’ve flown on United, Delta, Southwest, JetBlue, WowAir, AA, Alaskan, Virgin, American Airlines, United Airways, China Air, EVA, and Air Canada. So far, WestJet has been by far my worst experience."
Cons: "I miss the wedding party I was the bridesmaid"
Pros: "Free beer"
Cons: "2.5 hours late"
Cons: "Faulty weather radar on a stormy evening cancelled our WestJet PREMIUM ECONOMY flight. After deplaning and waiting for all passengers without checked bags to be rebooked, we eventually were on our way by car from LGA to JFK airport to meet a British Airways ECONOMY flight with only minutes to spare"
Pros: "Liked that personnel are diverse and inclusive."
Cons: "Personnel at West Jet counter did not communicate clearly and loud enough for passengers to hear compare to other persons from other airlines like Delta wherein person spoke clearly. Suggest further training on communication skills."
Pros: "The flight was delayed, so I was going to miss my connector. They made some calls and got me booked on a British air flight straight to my destination. Thank you!"
Cons: "The plugs don't actually charge anything... :-/"
Pros: "They were quick and efficient"
Pros: "Staff are very welcoming and helpful."
Cons: "Two worst landings I have experienced. Boarding is always chaotic on Westjet"
Cons: "The waiting The late flight. Sat in TO Pierson for 3 hrs just to get this connection. That was after a 14 hr international flight."
Pros: "staff very pleasent"
Cons: "delays cancelled flights"
Pros: "Crew and food"
Cons: "No tv and boarding was a mess"
Pros: "very nice staff. comfortable seats"
Cons: "no ice for drinks. would have preferred in flight entertainment on seat backs"
Cons: "- The unprofessional way the staff "sorted us out". Especially the lady at check-in. Our flight was from NY to Toronto and then connecting after a nine-hour layover from Toronto to London. On all flights, we got the seats in the middle of the aircraft allocated, which is challenging when you are on crutches. - The second flight to London was in a terribly old machine where the overhead compartments were not well equipped to accommodate my crutches. The only way they fitted was at the very back underneath all the luggage. So when I asked the flight staff to help me get my crutch to go to the toilet, as I could not get it myself, he asked: "do you really have to use it?". I considered that very rude! - The selling of the entertainment systems took forever, which meant that the food sale was very late. Almost 4 hours into the flight on an overnight flight is really late! Especially when people would prefer to sleep. Due to my medication, I had to wait for food, but it took forever. All in all, not the best experience"
Pros: "Always friendly"
Cons: "No complimentary drink all of a sudden"
Cons: "Even though it was the first flight of the day, WestJet still left an hour late which meant I missed my connecting flight. That meant I also had to rebook my ground transportation an additional cost. Why they couldn't manage to get the first flight of the day out on time, I don't know. This stuff happens, and I am generally a patient and understanding person. That said, WestJet not only caused inconvenience and added expense, the airline had absolutely destroyed my snowboard bag. It was damaged so badly that I had to tape it up just so I could get out of the airport without losing my stuff everywhere. The WestJet employees didn't say anything about the damage, and clearly hoped I would just go away without making a claim. To make matters worse, they only pay part of the cost to replace my luggage."
Pros: "The flight was on time, there was enough room for carryons in the overhead bins"
Cons: "I did not have any food or use the entertainment options so that’s why I scored them low as I don’t know how good they were."
Pros: "Fast friendly service. Aircraft was clean and in great condition."
Cons: "No entertainment, not even power for your own electronics."

Cons: "Our flight was delayed. At the gate no one announced anything, agents were just standing there looking around. People had to approach them one by one to see the reason for the delay."
Pros: "Flight was delayed and then cancelled due to bad weather. Crew don't handle well the discomfort of the passengers that has to wait about 8 hours for the next flight."
Cons: "Delta should give some kind of support in this kind of situation."
Pros: "I liked the pilot who flew the 6.35 WS 1512 on Jan 3 rd to Toronto, which was delayed, and finally left at 7:19. It is the first time I flew on an airplane and barely felt any pain in my ear. The take off and the landing were professionally done. Kudos to that female pilot! The crew were quite hospitable and friendly as well. Thank you so much."

Pros: "New plane!!"
Cons: "No WiFi"
Pros: "We arrived early in Toronto . Excellent Service"
Pros: "Service was efficient and pleasant. Complementary drinks and snacks were served. This was a nice surprise!"
Pros: "Overall a great experience."
Cons: "My flight from NYC to Montreal was delayed 4 hours due to a storm that had passed earlier in the day. That was understandable, however we then sat on the tarmac at the gate for an additional hour because Air Canada's entire computer system suddenly crashed. We finally got to the runway and in the middle of takeoff the pilot slammed on the brakes and aborted the takeoff because he did not reach high enough speed. It was very scary. I was supposed to land in Montreal at 10:20 pm but arrived there at 2:30 am the next morning."
