Cons: "Even though i was booked on Air NZ, the flight was operated through Virgin Australia. This was only an issue when i tried to check in at Air NZ and was directed over to Virgin Australia. Once i found the right ticket counter to check in, i found that there was an extra baggage fee of NZ$130 that i had to pay to check my bag. Also, dinner seemed to be included for just about everyone sitting around me, and it was not included for me. I don't remember having the option of booking dinner with my flight. The agent at the Virgin Australia counter mentioned that this often happens when booking flights through the websites that are not the carrier's direct website. I have used others before, and not had these same issues... oh well - i guess that's what i get for booking through FlightNetwork.com. I'll probably go directly to airline websites in the future."

Pros: "The flight was about 12.5 hrs from Sydney to Los Angeles. It was economy and they provided dinner and breakfast and snacks in between. There was not a lot of leg room but more than most airlines provide in economy. They provided movies and like entertainment including the headsets at no charge. Meals and entertainment at no charge is a plus for them when most airlines are charging for everything but the air you breathe during the flight."

Because of the delay, we missed our connecting flight from LAX to JFK. The flight we were re-booked on was also delayed for mechanical/paperwork issues so we arrived back home in NYC 8 hours later than originally scheduled. This caused us to spend more money on a taxi since it was too late to take public transportation. it also made it difficult to settle back in at home because both my husband and I had to get up early for work the next day and we missed several hours of unpacking and cooking time we would have had had our flight not been delayed."

Cons: "The cabin crew was rude and had no self awareness. 2 times where I wasn't finished with my drink and they grabbed it right out of my hands. I was grabbing it so they could clear everything else but they took it as me trying to hand it to them. Both times I told them I was still drinking that and they disregarded it and threw it in the trash without hesitation. It's like they were robots on autopilot. Also, the male attendant in my row would always bump me pretty severely with his bum while grabbing things from the cart."

Nothing in any way healthy, nothing meat free. The service was however a very high standard, but the staff only had what they had to work with. This flight is always full, so I don't understand why Qantas does not fix this problem."

When I got on the plane I saw plenty of space AND when I got to Bogota my bag wasn't there. My carry on had my most important belongings for in case other luggage was lost. It's not faire that other passengers get to carry on suitcases and a personal item and I can not being my small backpack. It's very inconvenient since my rain gear, my shoes and my Phone chargers are in that bag."

She said there wasn't any other seats to assign us on the coach level. Then talked to the supervisor and I asked her what if if we upgrade. Then she came back and said it will cost us an additional 7700 euros to seat in the first class yes I do understand her point and told her to forget it. Then another supervisor who was a Spanish lady said to me that sorry the maintenance is falling behind due to lack of comnication and promised that our seats will be fixed soon but she said in the meantime we could find any other seats that are single and sit until ours is ready. Well the two other seats that were available at that was a seat next to the kitchen and bathroom and that also had the seats were taken out. We were very stressed and felt like we were not treated professionally. Anyway we finally got our seats back and the rest was better."

Phoenix to SFO to PHL would be a very unusual route! 3. Most of the flight attendants were the usual lackluster "don't bother me" American Airlines types. My wife was told that there was no more decaf coffee aboard. Another attendant an hour later had no trouble finding it. Obviously, the first attendant didn't want to bother!"

Cons: "I purchased a WiFi pass and the WiFi did not work. Since the airplane does not have individual TV’s on each seat, it makes it for a very long flight. I also did not like that the passengers had to take a bus to the airplane and we’re shoved like sardines in a can in 95 degree weather."

Cons: "First of all the Crew was rude and their lack of patience was obvious, the flight was delayed and was no fault of any of the passengers yet we were made to feel as if it was our ( passengers) fault. Secondly, the air was turned down, I guess to conserve fuel, and the plane was unbearably hot, And at no time was food offered for purchase or even a beverage service. I have flow AA for 20+ years and this was the FURST flight I have ever experienced. Sadly I believe it will be my last!!!!"

Even the chicken dinner was as good as many restaurants serve with tastey sauce and cooked just right with nice tossed salad and even apple pie desert. We got served free beverage 3 times on 9 hour flight from Paris to Dallas. The entertainment options were amazing: So many new movies or video games or e-reader were added plus with individual screen in front of each seat! They will be my first choice. New seats also had extra padding and were more comfortable! Wow1"
