Crew was very nice.

Flight was delayed, but they never made an announcement so we were overcrowded in airport waiting area, many people standing up, not enough seats, and we were kept in the dark Felt like we were being held hostage. Instead of boarding by rows, they let everyone go through all at once which caused the aisle in plane to be blocked. No organization as far as boarding.

SATA was very hospitable when our flight was delayed into the next day. They provided a hotel and dinner/breakfast vouchers.

The App proved to be useles when our flight was delayed 14+ hours. We were able to check in the day of the flight, but were never alerted when the flight was delayed. We called customer service and waited on hold for 30+ minutes without connecting, even though the automated message said the wait would be 6 mins. Communication as a whole was quite poor and created a lot of anxiety amongst the visibly upset travelers.

Flights on Azores Airlines/SATA are always delayed. It is a shame that it is the only airline that flies to Terceira Island. They delay flights due to "operational issues" because they cannot get their stuff together. The crew was also unfriendly and while we were already 4 hours delayed one of the crew members (leader) had the audacity to tell her team "why are you guys in a hurrry for?" HELLO! We are already lady. Work harder and faster so we can make up some time. The food was disgusting and they barely give you anything to drink. Also, the planes are very old. Seats uncomfortable, no leg room, no TVs and stink.

I booked this flight months and months ago on Kayak, excited by what I thought was an excellent deal to go visit an old friend. When I got to the Boston airport, I was told there is a fee to check a bag with the ticket type I purchased- of 90 DOLLARS each way!!! This is absurdly expensive. I tried to pay with cash as I had very little on my card, and was told this isn't possible. So I had to pay the fee, and arrive at my 7 hour layover with next to no cash on my card- too little to buy a meal in the airport. So I had a miserable layover experience. I do not recall seeing this baggage fee listed anywhere on Kayak when I booked my flight- it looks like this policy took effect in September 2017, but I booked my flight in July. I am very upset about this additional charge- it is dishonest and I will not be flying with TAP again. I am also considering using alternatives to Kayak, as the TAP representative said that it's Kayak's fault the baggage fee wasn't listed.

Food was ok

The customer service I received was horrible horrible horrible especially from the check in counter the were very rude . After booking my flight on kayak I called TAP customer service just to make sure that everything was fine .I asked them about luggage they said I had 2 free and a carry on when I got to the airport said I had to pay for the 2 i said no told them that i called TAP they didn't wanna hear it i asked for the manager she I am the manager and you bought a discounted ticket and there's no luggage with this ticket only acarry on in a mean way if you want the you have to pay $90 for each I tried to call TAP can't get through them when they finally got through them the guy confirmed that I ve called it on the records but it said now it's too late to do anything I am already at the airport that I have to pay and contact them later. I wasted good hour and a half on this and I had to pay $180. After all that at the boarding gate they announced that they will call by zone .they called especial need called frequent flyers zone A never called zone B all they said last minute was this is the final call for flight #.... and I was right in front of them and guess who were the people making the announcement yep the same people at the check in counter

The airline crew/staff was FAR MORE SUPPORTIVE than I have experienced in more than a dozen top ranked airlines. In particular, there was a crew member named GONCALO RODRIGUES, who seemed to have led every other member to perform at their best, by his model of service toward the passengers (customers). Such a staff can/must be utilized for training purposes and be rewarded in order to follow the concept of continuous improvement and stay abreast with leading airlines...

There are a few points that need to bee taken into serious consideration - for instance - like as below: 1. More choice of meals on board... There was ONLY PORK containing meal served during the flight and nothing else was available, which came as one big surprise. 2. My Baggage did not get boarded... and had to waste a great deal of time... The misplaced baggage staff member at the Toronto airport need more training toward customers' satisfaction. 3. More choice for on-board entertainment

The staff were nice, I was sitting in a bulkhead seat so that was nice to have extra room.
