Austrian Airlines help and service was fine, but Kayak misled us into believing we had purchased a Business Class ticket. In fact, the tickets were only upgraded Coach Class tickets with luggage restrictions that belonged to the Coach Class. Very disappointed! Paid over $$$$ 9K for the two tickets. Very disappointing!
Quick and organized boarding process, friendly staff but not as many snacks and drinks as the previous flight overnight

Five star experience all around except for my seat, which was broken. It would only go down 70%.Of the way. It defeats the purpose of buying a business class ticket if you don’t actually get to lay flat..

Not so good. I paid for a preference economic seat, and I couldn’t incline it back because it was blocked. They explained me that because is the last before emergency exit. The company new that but it was not explained in the seat selection
Business class old style from 10 years ago. Ok for short flights but nor for 12 hours journey. The passenger near the window have to jump over the passenger seat aisle side or wake him up to upright the seat. That’s not the business class that you expect on long night flight. Seats are not so confortable. And believe it or not no wifi!
We have travelled on 13 December with Austrian Airlines from Yangon through Bangkok and Vienna to Varna. The first flight operated by Thai Airlines was nice and comfortable. I wouldn’t say the same thing about the next two flights which were operated directly by the Austrian Airlines. During our flight from Bangkok to Vienna: > The service was very poor – serving of food and drinks was disorganized, late and not combined, the stewards were walking back and forth without doing anything substantial for the passengers. Even the morning breakfast was very late with a cup of coffee almost while landing (after a reminding). > The food itself was OK-ish but for a 12-hour flight, there were no snacks/bites in between dinner and breakfast as it is with the other airlines. > The cutlery was wooden, most probably recycling, but very unpleasant to eat with. > The stewards were not rude but not friendly and/or helpful > And also, half of the passengers had travel sets, others did not. The flight from Vienna to Varna was another surprise: firstly, the flight was late and secondly, they were serving only water free, even the coffee was paid, so were the snacks, but we had to pay to reserve seats. The whole experience is as if it was a low-cost airline. All in all, I wouldn’t recommend using the services of Austrian Airlines: the ticket prizes are quite the same as of the other carriers flying to this destination and you would have much pleasant time.

Terrible. Delayed 7 hours, and cancelled the flight, leaving me stranded and out of pocket $500 for an alternative last minute flight
Food was terrible. Crew was kind but skipped over my row for providing sandwiches and beverages.
Not a great experience. We paid for the upgrade for premium economy seats and seated ourselves in very comfortable seats. Someone came along with the same seat on their boarding pass. The aircraft had been changed and as a result we were booted out and sent further back to small uncomfortable seats. After complaining we were moved to emergency row seats, which gave us more leg room but the seats don’t recline. For people in our 70’s we found having to sit upright from California to NJ very uncomfortable. Not sure why they chose to move senior citizens instead of the two people that were allowed to take the more comfortable seats. Not happy.
More racist flight attandants maybe because i sm an attracticted darkskin latino man but once again bad flight attamdants they ignored me the whole flight even the woman sitting next to me notice how rude they were towards me i really never want to fly united or american airlines they alawsys have the rudesslt and racist flight attandants
We loved the United lounge near our gate and a rep named Aimee who was GREAT
Cramped seat even in economy plus seat 10A. Over booked flight, no space for the bags
Awful. There was a minor problem with a fridge and they had us 2 hours in the runway before take off. The paper work alone took them half hour. There was no attemp to make up time up while in teansit and when we arrived, they had us another half hour in the plane because of traffic. I, and a bunch of people, lost their onnection flights for 5 to 10 minutes. Not even the attemp to wait given thar all delays, but the taxing, were United's fault. Then another 45 mins to get an agent and no flight alternatives for 2 days. Im am very disapointed with this "premium carrier".
Very comfortable (upgraded to business class). The audio on my screen didn’t work, but I managed to play the audio through my phone while watching the screen.
Flight was On time and landed 30 mins early considering we were flying into Newark. No complaints.
Liked the flight being almost on time (airport issues created a delay). Disliked the issue printing tag bags on the kiosk and having to wait for an hour on like to drop my bags.
Our flight was delayed for over an hour due to weather, and it had already been a long travel day. However, the crew was calm and compassionate, listening to every complaint with genuine concern. They got us home safely without incident, in spite of all of the obstacles. I’m grateful.
The flight crew was friendly and accommodating. I witnessed one of the flight attendants deal with a difficult flyer with extreme calm and compassion. I was so annoyed with the passenger and so impressed by the flight attendant. His quick action de-escalated what could have been a major incident. He was awesome.
Insulting. Lufthansa flight from Munich to EWR had us getting our luggage when we were told in Florence that it would follow us to Indianapolis. It did not. Then very slow security in EWR caused me and three other passengers from Lufthansa flight from Munich to miss the boarding closure. Behind me were two elderly grandparents and their ten year old grandson. We were all refused entry on a plane to Indy that was still at the gate. The doors had not even closed inside the terminal yet. No apologies or compensation offered. Not even a meal voucher let alone a free hotel stay for our inconvenience. I m not sure what the other three passengers behind me did ( they were elderly with a grandson, recall), but I stated 12 hours overnight in a chilly EWR airport until next flight to Indy at 850 next morning.
I was told in Florence my bag would go directly to Indianapolis. I had to wait to get it. Then security in EWR was slow so I missed my flight as United would not allow me on the plane even though it was still on the tarmac and the door to the tunnel was open. I blame both Lufthansa and United for refusing to allow me on board a plane that was clearly still on the tarmac. Behind me two grandparents and their ten year old grandson were on same flight from Munich to EWR. They were refused to board the United flight. So we had to sit for 12 hours in airport until next flight. No compensation has been offered either by Lufthansa or United.
Flight was delayed and luggage was delivered day after arrival. In Bilbao they told me day after would be delivered faster if I went to Bilbao to get my own bags so I did. Wasted my morning.
Seating was average for a first class seat. It very modern. I expected better.

The food that was served was superb!!! Awesome snacks!!! Frequent drink service!!! To me, this was shocking. I took a British Airways flight from Denver to London for the first leg of my trip and the food was horrendous. Thank you for keeping us fed and satiated on such a long flight!!!!
The seating arrangement by having privacy screens would have been more appealing. If you sit in the business class, you pay for extra comfort and privacy. Other than that, the service was excellent and the staff very professional.
