Service is more than adequate with respect to call button etc. But meal service is "clipped" (for lack of a better term). No extras, warm beer, wine but no liquor. No snacks.They can do better, if they want to compete with the gulf airlines. Baggage took about 45 minutes to arrive at LAX. Very glitchy entertainment system"

Cons: "On Sep 14th, I paid on your websites with the confirmation of three airline tickets from Chengdu China to Los Angeles. All the information I provide for each passengers are correct. However, due to the fact that you missed up three of the passengers information, they couldn't check in yesterday. The whole fight to LA was missed. As a result, we had to pay very high price to buy new tickets for the next available fight in order to complete the trip. I'v made four phone calls with your agent, with all records made. 1) The 1st agent confirmed that the information I provided were all correct for each passengers. So she believed there was nothing wrong and did nothing to help. 2) The 2nd agent realized the information were mixed up. But it was too late to let them check in. 3) The 3rd agent confirmed that the issue were caused by your system. He said only the supervisor could deal with this matter. He gave me a number which is not valid. 4) Finally, the 4th agent said you would contact me. No response by now. Still waiting for the response. Very disappointed after all."

I dont understand why they dont have champagne offered on the drink trays upon boarding..you havd to ask every time..ridiculously stingy?? Then it takes for ever to get it brought to your seat. The flight attendants all have bad breath..i have flown this route 3-4 times each year for three years now and everyone every time has bad breath??"

Cons: "Way too many announcements. Many were not comprehendible. Gate changes were not announced and continuously kept happening with China eastern airline. They were not efficient with bag storage because people’s bags were all ending up in different aisles."

Cons: "There was an interim stop in Kunming that I did not see anywhere on the schedule. We went through immigration there, which was confusing to both me and the immigration officials. It was difficult to figure out how to get to the connecting flight."

Cons: "I was not able to board the flight in Laos. I had a visa for Shanghai which was my final destination but the airline would not let me fly through Kunming without a transit visa. The staff was very rude and would not listen to me. They just kept saying I could not board the flight. They would not help me to change or re-book a flight and was fine to leave me stranded in Laos. The airport did not have wifi or any resources. I had to please to pay a kiosk to use their wifi so that I could rebook my flight through another transit province. It was a horrible experience and left me out a few hundred dollars."
