Cons: "To be clear, I do not have an issue with overweight people. That being said, I was put in an extremely uncomforatable position on this flight. My seatmate was a woman who easily weighed 400 pounds without the slightest exageration and was 5'7 at best. She carried all of her weight in her midsection and behind, which was truly uncomforatable for us both. As she attempted to squeeze into the aisle seat it became apparent that with the armrest down it was not going to happen. She raised the armrest and finally maneuvered into her seat and part of mine also. Not only was her bottom in my seat but her stomach was resting on my entire right leg. It felt like a toddler was sitting on my lap. This was beyond uncomfortable and embarrassing for us both as it was clear that she knew how intrusive this was and kept apologizing. My leg went to sleep after about 15 minutes so I asked to be let out. I approached the flight attendent and requested that my seat be changed to which she responded that the flight was full. I know it wasn't because I could see an empty seat about four rows in front of me. Finally I sat back down but every 15 minutes or so she would get uncomforatable and get up to stretch. The first time it was a welcomed break, until she came back and flopped in her seat with so much force that it felt like someone had ran and jumped in my lap. This occurred 4 or 5 times during the flight. I am not sure what the policy is for obese passengers, but it should be relooked. As a passenger I should not be put in a position to address another passengers weight. I also should not have to pay for a seat and only get to use 2/3 of it. Lastly, no one should ever be allowed to put their body parts on top of another persons lap and that be considered ok."

Cons: "I purchased my tickets about 5 weeks before my trip and got to the airport 2 hrs prior. I recieved no seat assignment, just a boarding pass that said request seat. So I requested a seat. Then the people were rude and told me to come back, so I did about 45 min later and asked again, they were rude again and said come back later. The third time I got s seat assigned but again, they were very rude. Won't fly delta again."

Cons: "The ground crew (in Detroit) were unfriendly and rude. I asked two simply which line I should be in, the First lady just ignored me, the second gentleman rudely told me where to stand. They were not terribly busy at the time and I politely asked as I was unsure which line to be in. The flight attendants (only from ORF to Detroit) also were unfriendly with an attitude. Just simple stuff. I asked for extra ice, she thought I said no ice. Simple mistake, no big deal but when I explained that I actually wanted extra ice she was perturbed!"

They are so strict with liquids that all baby foods had to put in a separate bin and we had to go to another security point for clearance. It took 2.5 hours to go through all that, that is with wheelchair priority! Boarding was horrible at the gate."

The seats on this flight were so cramped I could barely fit into the. (I'm fairly tall but not very big otherwise.) Additionally, we tried to change our flight to a different day that was less crowded, and were told it would cost over $600 per passenger to do so. Highway robbery. I wish Southwest flew to Madison."

Ruined a dress my wife had planned to wear to a wedding because the red suitcase bled through to the dress. Underwater, etc was soaked. The extent of it we didn't realize until unpacking the suitcases later. Totally disgusted they could have left our suitcase in the rain uncovered (or perhaps dropped them in a puddle)."

Cons: "The airport staff after TSA are RUDE! I was suppose to leave from one destination to another, last night. AA rebooked me without my consent and assumed i would be ok taking a later flight 24hrs later. After hassle, i thought i received a perfect flight which would get me to my destination A WEDDING at that in time. However, i have been rebooked over 5x in under 24hrs and still at the airport from 9hrs later! They do not compensate you and do not even extend the offer!"

Pros: "The 737 was excellent. Boeing still makes the best aircraft."
Cons: "Being rescheduled from an 0830 departure to a 0530 departure, which meant I had to get up at 0300 to get to RIC by 0400 for TSA and check-in. As originally planned I would have arisen at 0500, still early, but not nearly 0300. The equipment had no individual entertainment screens. So we were stuck with whatever was on the common screen...which was bad."

Cons: "How can a plane be this cold?? I travel all the time, but I have never experienced this. It seemed like there was a general temp control - apart from the air vents. I had on a sweatshirt and by the end of the flight was sitting on my hands! Couple that with the “I don’t care” attitude of the flight crew, and I was counting the minutes to landing. Definitely not the AA that I’ve given my business to."

Cons: "The drink cart skipped me! I was definitely awake too. When I got his attention I finally got my drink but I didn’t get a napkin or pretzels offered either. WiFi was iffy and never loaded for me."

Cons: "Seat was tiny. Felt crammed in there. I'm just 6ft tall, but couldn't even use the headrest...it was a back rest. No individual inflight entertainment on a 3 hour flight? I've had screens in front of me for hour long flights. Left 30 minutes late with no indication as to why. Just one of the most uncomfortable flights I've had in a long time."

Pros: "The pilot was great about keeping us up to date on the possible route change and exactly how long we would be sitting on the runway, new arrival time, etc."
Cons: "We sat on the runway for 35 minutes with no offer of a beverage (though there was going to be beverage service). Then just before take off as the flight attendants were snacking in the back, we asked about a possible drink and they said the flight was going to be too turbulent to serve anything."

Pros: "Very friendly staff, clean airplane, great flight! Our original flight was delayed, but we still made it right on time for our connecting flight! I didn't realize when I was booking the flights that American lets you bring a carryon no charge, but United does not. You have to be a "Special" customer with them in order to be allowed a carryon, so we ended up paying an additional $50!!!"

Pros: "This leg from PHX to TUC, the AA staff did GREAT. They held the last flight for about 10 of us (the last one of the night). Were pleasant and professional."

When the lights came back it was problematic and dim then fully lit to flickering off and on. Whenever it "seems" to have any electrical or mechanical failure. It's natural as a passenger my first thought is it's a Bad omen . I had genuinely lost some faith in the plane ."

Pros: "Once I managed to get to my connecting terminal which was an adventure in itself, the original plane we were to fly on was having maintenance issues. The ground crew worked quickly to get a different plane and moved us to an adjoining terminal."

Nonetheless, we were waiting in the gate and the personal change the flight information for another flight and no body told us why. When we went to see in the big screens with all the flights. which was the new gate for the flight it kept saying the same gate. When I went to ask what's going on the person in the counter was very rude."

Cons: "United canceled the flight ~36 hours in advance of the departure time because of anticipated severe weather. The forecast did not include any bad weather, and the apparent reason for the cancellation was excess capacity on routes to non-Newark United hubs from Norfolk. United refused to accommodate us on a comparable flight on another airline, and Delta offered a direct flight for less money than we originally paid United. United alienated a previously loyal United customer."

I could not get comfortable let alone sleep, and my backside felt like I had been sitting on a park bench rather than a long haul coach airline seat. I will avoid this aircraft if possible in the future."

Very poor experience and airport staff was not helpful."

You should at least be allowed a voucher for the amount of the ticket at a later date. Even if it's a percentage off, you should be allowed something. How is it that you can buy a car worth thousands, and be allowed to return it under the Lemon Law. When a company called can make billions of dollars doing this, it's just taking advantage of the little people."

No one will want to fly United after they hear what my daughter and I were put thru."

Pros: "Absoluteky nothing. I mean literally NOTHING. I take that back, a pilot for another flight who saw my predicament and tried his best to help me figure which flight to take in the morning. Also, as far as floors go, the airport terminal was maybe only the ninth worst I've slept on. Kudos!"
Cons: "Wretched customer service. Flight delayed multiple hours after my ride departed and stranded at airport for fourteen hours with no food or beverage comps, or even kindness from the their agents. Was told "oh well, weather". I had left my remaining cash (and didn't bring my card) with my lady friend to get the kids some nice things (she is driving back on a seperate day and was already two hours away by the time we found out flight wasn't happening in time) and absolutely zero compassion given by United. Also, required to add an 80 dollar uber when I get home because there will be no ride as my orginal ride can't make it. May also have to call out of work. Not even an offer to bump my seat on next flight to close to the cabin or exit row. Two hours on phone with customer service with no offers of even slight compensation even when this entire situation is explained. I get it. I agreed to terms of service, but your service sucked and is costing me an armful of money at this point, wouldn't it be in the slightest interest of theirs to give me a meal, or a room or even a lousy coffee?"

Cons: "Apparently flight crews are limited and even though our plane was ready to leave we had to wait for a crew member to arrive that was delayed at another airport which in turn delayed our flight."

Cons: "After getting pushed back 3 times it finally got canceled and left me and 4 other strangers to drive back home so I wouldn't miss work. Another not being late to work in the military is not good to go."

Pros: "Crew was wonderful and snacks were average"
Cons: "The seat back was very uncomfortable but this was a short flight with a small plane. Not terrible but below average."

Pros: "The flight crew was very friendly and polite. Brought the drink cart around a couple times to make sure everyone was satisfied beverage wise."
Cons: "With it being a smaller plane there wasn't a whole lot of room for a 6'3" guy to sit comfortably for a long stretch. Although understandable for the size of plane it was my only dislike of the flight so overall a very good job."

Pros: "Fast, friendly, on time"
Cons: "None"

Pros: "Communication between crew and passengers"

Pros: "I like how I made it to my destination even after a huge blizzard in Denver."
Cons: "We were really delayed while on the air plane and the seats were not as comfortable as before. I understand that the delay is not the crews fault but actually DIA, but it was my least favorite part of the trip because it made me late to an appointment in Tucson."
