Great crew, smooth flight and landing. Wish they would offer Dr. Pepper and a choice of flavors of pretzels.
It was too cold for the first quarter of the flight.
I loved that we boarded orderly and quickly, that I had an opportunity to check my bag free at the gate, that there was plenty of seat/leg room, there was smooth takeoff and landing, the attendants were pleasant and helpful, and that we arrived on time!!
Despite boarding starting quite late, we actually got to LAX on time. Boarding was easy and orderly. We knew that no screen with entertainment choices would be included on this flight, and that's fine. It was the best price, and we brought all the types of entertainment we needed with us, and appreciated the USB charging ports. What stood out most, was the complimentary liquor. THAT made the biggest difference in our enjoyment of this flight.
Awesome just like that we have a timeline flying Alaska.
Flight 351 SEA to BOI was terrible. We got to cruising altitude and I needed to use the restroom but the fasten seatbelt sign never came off. There was no turbulence and I'd felt the plane level off so I stood up to use the restroom about 15 minutes after we leveled off. The stewardess went over the intercom and said I needed to be seated because the captain hadn't turned off the fasten seatbelt sign....Which... Fair.... But not five minutes later she went and used the bathroom. Felt very unprofessional to leave a paying customer with a burning urethra for the entire flight and bark at them to sit down and still use the bathroom yourself. They never did turn off the seatbelt sign.
Crew was very good. Problem was not Alaska Airlines’ fault, there was a horrible, squealing, screaming kid near me.
Behind schedule. Lots of time on tarmac. Perhaps unavoidable. Better than crashing!!
There was an issue with water that led to us not having potable water onboard. They dumped the onboard water and we were two hours late taking off.
The flight from San Diego to San Jose gate 28A The two persons working there didn’t even turn on the display board. The display board saying to Sacramento. When I asked she was rude and showed the board . Then he realized And changed. Every one was confused because we are running late to catch that flight coming from IAD. Very irresponsible staff.
Loved the staff, boarding and drink options! Wish the comfort of the seat could have been better nevertheless
The chair cushions may need an upgrade. I have been noticing they are so worn out, thin so you’d sit in a dip 😄. Other than that, all was an enjoyable trip. Thanks AA!
Pitch was very small. Knees were on the seat back in front of me.
Wonderful as usual except for other guests that were unruly and not kept in check by the Crew.
The flight was initially delayed, then cancelled. American Airlines says the cancellation was weather related, though the actual weather was not bad in both Washington and Providence and between. There were very few cancellations that day. In fact, AA2120 from Washington, DC to Boston flew with a minor delay at about the same time. So, the weather somehow affected only this particular flight AA5230. The next available flight was the following morning. The American Airlines refused to reimburse accommodation (hotel at DCA)
Fine. On time, cabin service was fine, bag arrived. All good. Flying into DCA so did not collide with any helicopters, which is also good. Horrid incident that could have and should have been prevented.
Good experience but the snacks are not gluten free, so I cannot eat them.
Standard. No different than a discount carrier on a short trip.
Everything was great. Boarding, early departure, early arrival, and deplaning were smooth. Smooth flight.
I blame kayak for my last trip to dca. Kayak cancelled my direct flight and put on a one stop flight and made lost whole day from my vacation and had not even refunded my ticket.
