Ran from gate F to gate c24 arrived at 10:23 p.m. Slight to the park at 10:25 p.m. and they closed the door on me as I was running up there. Ran across the entire terminal to get there and they would not let me on. Last Flight of the night to Bismarck. Missed my uncle's 90th birthday party. Would not give me food voucher. Delta gate agent told me she would lose her job if she did not close the doors 8 minutes prior. However the Minneapolis flight waited for 15 minutes for people to board that plane. How does that compute? Why would they not wait 3 minutes for me rather than pay the money to put me up in a hotel?"

Everyone was very polite but check in was confusing. Everything else was wonderful. Cutomer service was great from beginning to end."

Cons: "Long Delays, Over Booked Flights, Customer Service is not helpful, Wrong info delivered by Customer Service, No boarding gate info, Luggage was damaged, and I was charged a large premium with no added value. Delta sold me a 1st class flight because of their delays and overbooking their flights. This was because they could not fulfill the ticket I had. This was Delta's solution to their problem caused by them. I still have no idea why the flights were delayed. On top of all this, I overheard a walk-on pilot ask if there was room for him to catch a lift home. The flight attendant responded with "absolutely this flight is not full at all, you can sit right here". Wait I had to pay 200 bucks extra for an overbooked flight and you are having your Delta representatives say different. This was my first and last trip with Delta. I spent 1000 dollars for round trip ticket from Seattle to Spokane WA. No way is that OK or acceptable under any circumstances to treat your customers like this. The best part about all of this is, I have sent feedback and called customer service to talk to a manager to hear the blame put on back on me. Perception is reality Delta. Awful service, awful prices, awful care, awful communication, and awful value for the money."

Since Scranton is humid this time of year I also had heavily moisture-laden air blowing against me which occasionally felt like water droplets. The sound of forceful rushing air is annoying enough but the muscles in my neck were cramping due to the cold air on the first part of the flight. (This is NOT the personal, adjustable vent I'm talking about. I know how to turn them off and redirect air flow). Perhaps there is a a crew controlled adjustment that had been neglected during this flight. Started on the ground during boarding, continued throughout flight."

Cons: "On this A320 craft, old style, the First class seats are a joke. I had seat 2B. The pitch is apparently less than in the Comfort+ rows. The passengers in 1A and 1B started reclining even before departure, and during the whole flight. For me and my neighbor, with that seat on our chest, it was impossible to reach down to the seat-back pocket, not to mention to the bag stowed under the seat in front. To get out of the seat, I almost could not get my legs through the 5-in. interval between the back of the front seat and the irremovable armrest. I shook the passenger sleeping in 1B rather violently a couple times. The lady in seat 2B apologized, but she had to climb and put her feet on my seat to get out of hers, there was really no other way. Delta needs to address this ridiculous situation of their First Class seats urgently."

Cons: "A strong snowstorm prevented me from arriving to the airport on time (highway was closed). Flight was at 3:15. After over 5 hours on the highway I finally arrived to the airport at 2:27 and the Aeromexico counters were empty. A lady from Lufthansa told me the flight had just closed and suggested that I call aeromexico’s phone number. I did that and the gentleman on the phone told me I should go to the check-in counters. I mentioned they were empty and he had no other suggestions. After an hour on the airport and on the phone with no progress I booked a trip with United and traveled home."

Cons: "It was awful. My original flight was scheduled to depart March 30 at 11:55. Then Aeromexico changed it to 1:35am in March 31. They refused to let me change flights when this happened. I wanted to fly standby on an earlier flight, so I called everyday for 2 weeks to confirm how many seats were left. Everyone I talked to told me I could fly standby if it was he same day as my ticket. I got to the airport and the flight attendant at check in told me “standby doesn’t exist.” When I asked how much it would be to change my ticket, she just said “very expensive.” She told me she’d have to check me out of my current flight and risk me losing my seat on that flight, because it was overbooked just to see the price for the earlier flight. I told her I’d be willing to pay up to $200 to switch to the earlier flight and she told me it was very expensive and she wouldn’t do it. I came back later that night and took my scheduled flight. I carried on my bag from SFO to MEX. On my second flight from MEX to BOG, the attendant told an older woman she had to check her bag because the overhead was going to be too full. I volunteered to check my bag instead so she could keep her bag. Then Aeromexico lost my bag. When I got to BOG, they told me I couldn’t have a voucher because it was my fault for bringing a bag that was too big. Finally they gave me $100 because the next day was Easter and I had no clothes for church. I wasted over 2 hours of my vacation at the Bogota airport while Aeromexico searched for my bag. They said they’d call as soon as they found it. No one ever called. I called and they asked “what color is your bag?” I said “red” and the attendant said they had it. It was delivered several hours after this call despite the fact that the airport is less than 20 minutes from where we are staying. I didn’t think an airline could be worse han United, but Aeromexico steals the cake."

Ten days prior to the flight I called AeroMexico to cancel and they said there would be a cancellation penalty, which was fine. When I tried to redeem my credit, they said there was also an additional "No-show fee" even though I called to cancel 10 days prior, which left a total of $70 credit after all their penalties. I called and emailed to complain but they did nothing but pass me to someone else who was equally unhelpful. I will never fly AeroMexico for any reason in the future."
Pros: "We got an upgrade to 1st class. However because it’s an older plane, 1st class was just recliner seats. This was an overnight flight, so anything helped. It would have been nicer to have seats lay further back in 1st class. We did not have food since we slept the whole way."

I then called the number provided to ask for more help, and was told that I could then only choose the seats at the check in time. I was at the airport 2 hours before the flight schedule to book my seat and was told them that I could only choose the seats at the gate. Once I got at the gate I asked the person to please give me a seat at the aisle for medical reasons but after waiting until the boarding process had started I was giving a middle seat. Not only I was treated as a stand by passenger that had not purchased the tickets I was put nt on group 8 and at the moment of boarding the gate personal aggressively grabbed my carry-on bag because they insisted there was no more spaces in the compartment above heads. Once I got inside of airplane I saw many empty compartments available for carry-on luggage. I wish I had not purchased my ticket with Iberia Airlines operated by American Airlines. It was not a good, pleasant experience and do not recommend. I wil certainly avoid in the future and not travel this way another time. Thanks"

I drove 5.5 hours to another city to catch a flight to Europe, believing my return ticket was valid as AA first told me, only later to learn they cancelled it. Thanks to AA, I currently I have no return ticket. Others on this flight and on my later Iberia flight were cursing AA loudly so I don't think my issue is an anomaly, but is more likely AA's new standard of conduct."

The U tied wing was amazing. Your prices are great but to keep ppl from rather paying more just for one or two more luxuries, try fixing this."

Cons: "Our flight from Seattle to JFK was delayed over 11 hours, not because of weather or mechanical issue, but because a flight attendant fell ill and American Airlines had no one to take his or her place. They had to fly in an employee from Texas to cover the shift. Are you kidding me? I understand there are unforeseen events but any reputable airline should have a personnel contingency plan better than that. As a result, we lost a whole day of our vacation, missed our Broadway performance, and others missed their business meetings. All the alerts informing us of the delay were sent long after they already occurred. I will avoid flying American again at all costs."

Cons: "Mediocre food and entertainment. Internet price are ridiculous compared to competitors ( just flew SouthWest - so much better). Cost at about $6 for a half-hour. They had to bring the cleaning crew back on to clean parts of the plane - it was to dirty for anyone to sit in one row."
Pros: "The crew was friendly. The pilot told us what landmarks we were flying over as well as weather, altitude updates and arrival times."
Pros: "The captain of the plane did a phenomenonal job communicating with the passengers on board. He provided us information on location, altitude, and let us know when to expect turbulence which I thought was great, as many do not communicate much with the passengers. Also the plane was in good conditions and was comfortable."

Cons: "AA version of the 737 is very cramped, small seats with little room and very upright, barely recline if at all. Also, unlike other airlines they installed metal boxes underneath the seats for the life vests which take up a third of your leg room. Overhead air barely blows and the overall temp was a little too warm for comfort even while just wearing shorts and a T-shirt. Lights were bright for first half of the trip until they finished drink service even though flight started at midnight."

Cons: "Crew made one pass thru cabin with a mini bag of pretzels and one pass thru with beverage. Never saw them again but perhaps that is the norm for AA. No so with other carriers we have flown red eyes on. Always tough getting a good connection when flying west to east"
Pros: "Everyone from the woman checking boarding passes at the gate to the pilot himself, was friendly, jovial, and light. Very relaxing trip, I just felt very welcome by everyone."

Cons: "Flight was one and one-half hour late out of Seattle to Chicago, so we missed our American connecting flight. NO real people in O-Hare - luckily we were put on a United flight, because one of their very helpful staff (a real person at the US busiest airport - a concept American might want to try) found out that while American gave us a confirmation code confirmation, we had no tickets. How does a trained customer service person miss this?!? United personnel managed to straighten this out. On board the flight, there was NO FOOD - they ran out before halfway down the aisle. We had a four hour wait in Chicago (over dinner time) because of the missed flight, but American refused us a food voucher. I hope never to fly on American again."

Cons: "Prior to boarding United announced it would be a full flight so they offered to check our bags for free. The United employee seemed put off when we let her know my wife & I wanted to check out two carry on bags. After my wife had her bag checked the United Employee looked at me & said “let me have it” while pointing at my right side that was holding my back pack & ticket. I misunderstood because I replied “I am not checking my backpack, only my suitcase.” The United employee said “no, your ticket” which caused an awkward silence of confusion & everyone surrounding us to look at me like I had said something wrong when in fact it was then United employee that was unclear with her words. I handed her my ticket & the other United employee proceeded to tag my wife’s suitcase but not mine looking at me like I was crazy for offering mine up. Out of further embarrassment & frustration I ended up carrying my suitcase on the plane. The seats on the plane felt like I was sitting against a piece of plywood. If I could give comfort zero stars I would. Terrible customer service & terrible comfort."

We had asked switching seats on our flight to Spokane because we were given the same seats. The airline told us seats were chosen at random and they couldn't control them so we had 4 legs of our two flights stuck in no reveling seats. I was very disappointed."
