Pros: "For this flight I was seated in first class (I scheduled it this way; it wasn't due to a last minute upgrade) and the flight attendant was very personable and attentive :-) Service was wonderful and the meal was great! Of course, the flight attendant made sure to keep our beverages topped off as needed. It was a wonderful experience"
Cons: "The boarding process for just about any airline is nearly identical. It always seems like it takes longer to board than expected even if, in reality, it's not an unreasonable amount of time. The only think I didn't care for was that overhead storage in the area I was sitting was just about full by the time I was seated which meant that I had to store my carry on a few rows behind where I sat. This meant that during off-boarding I needed to go against the flow of people to get back to my carry on. All in all, it was a minor inconvenience."
Pros: "I travel a great deal and this service was an hour from my home. Now I have to travel 2.5 hours 1-2 times a week. So sad. I am a dedicated AA customer"

Cons: "American completely missed the mark. AA did not successfully change our reservation when the initial leg of our trip was delayed by an hour due to a fuel issue, which caused us to miss your connection in Chicago. Since American partners with Alaskan Airlines, American should have changed my reservations with regards to Alaska Airlines, but they failed to do that. I stood at the Alaskan Airlines counter as the plane left the gate with our empty seats because there was not a ticket. American Airlines did not change a reservation successfully and so although we had boarding passes with our names and seats and the flight number, the plane left without us. I was stranded and Seattle airport at midnight with a child and an infant with one diaper and one bottle left and it was a terrible experience with American Airlines. I do not recommend flying American they cannot get it together when problems happen with delays."

Pros: "This was a sold out flight, however, the flight crew remained professional, friendly and efficient, and we departed and arrived on schedule. The seating was the same as every other airline - not roomy enough. On the bright side, I've had more than a few meals on international flights with six or more other airlines and this was the best meal service so far. Dinner was very tasty!"

Cons: "My flight was delayed 4 times from Columbus to Chicago due to an ATC issue in Chicago. On the 4th delay announcement I had to rebook my international flight for the following day because my connection was leaving Chicago while I was still in Columbus. I had to rebook and get a hotel for the night on my own expense since American Airlines won't pay if it is weather related even though the weather was not the issue, rather air traffic control. The plane we got the next day was a smaller uncomfortable plane with zero entertainment and a crew that projected they would rather be anywhere else. I don't blame them, my experiences with American Airlines had been progressively getting worse."

Instead he scolded me not to bring carry on luggage if I can't put it in. The bin wax too high for me . I'm 4'10 inc tall and unable to reach the over head bin. And Daryl H, was sitting on my paid chair. A nice passenger offer his help and put the carry on to the bin. I will not book this airline again."

Cons: "I got two basic economy seats and no seat assignment until after other passengers had already started boarding. The gate agent showed up late so it was a hassle to get to the counter and find out where I was sitting. Then there was a long backup on the gang way, and we still couldn't get on the plane. We were delayed sitting on the tarmac for an extra hour, the crew could have given us drinks or snacks then."

Cons: "This was 11PM flight from LAX to SFO which takes about an hour and a half. We sat on the tarmac for nearly two hours with little feedback from the crew and screaming kids (I too wanted to scream). When I requested information, I was told that they had to remove a passenger and get gas. It sounded like a cruel joke. Unprofessional, disrespectful and all around terrible experience."
Cons: "We arrived at the Newark Airport 3 hours before our flight, arrived at our gate, as designated, 45 minutes before boarding. Nowhere around the gate, on any monitors, did we see our flight number posted. Three airline attendants, at three different desks, at our gate were all talking at the same time announcing flights. I heard our flight # announced once. My husband asked one of the attendants about our flight and they said it was delayed an hour. That was BS. We nearly missed our flight because it was boarding at that time."

Cons: "Had a three hour wait for an aircraft. The wait was for a flight to come in form Ottawa. There seemed to be plenty of other aircraft sitting around O'Hara not being used. Also the deicing process can use some much needed review. Having to wait over an hour for a deice unit to come to the aircraft is just way inefficient and I would think more costly to the company. It is certainly irritating to your customers who have just spent three, maybe five or more hours in a crappy air terminal waiting to get the heck out and on their way home."
