Cons: Mechanical issue put us out late, then weather kept us circleing for another 45 minutes. Spent the night at msp had to fly out the next day to final destination.

Pros: Nice crew members always polite and courteous.maybe over polite if anything. Australians don't require subservient service deliverers. The constant "your very welcome" regardless of the service and response to that delivery is off-putting to me. But al in all pretty good in most areas.
Cons: ON ticketing at New Orleans I wasn't allocated a seat number. At the gate shortly prior to boarding I needed to attend the desk for that allocation. I was also not told which Terminal the plane would go to in LAX and which terminal the connecting flight would be leaving from. They were not sure! Consequently I floundered around at LAX wasting time and bothering people for information that should have been known to me. The security checks are over the top and inconsistent in the US.

Pros: What I USED to like was the no hassle, no problems getting the tickets right through landing on the tarmac.
Cons: I had a family emergency and because I had used a mileage ticket (as opposed to a paid ticket) I was told that I needed to give them 72 hours notice. I tried to explain that I had no control over the situation. It fell on deaf ears. I was so upset and frustrated that I could barely speak. My miles are now lost as the entire round trip ticket was cancelled and I have no way to regain all those miles that I wasted. It was the first time Delta did not come through for me and I must say, it's left a very bitter taste in my mouth. I couldn't believe that there isn't some provision (there is if I had paid for my ticket) and have lost all those miles that I use to fly Delta. So much for customer service.

Pros: Even with the weather being bad, the flight crew handled the situation really well. No one on the plane freaked out which was awesome, so I'm happy with the way they handled it.
Cons: The weather was pretty nasty so we had to be re-routed to Cleveland to get more gas before landing in Columbus. It definitely wasn't the airline's fault, but it still was annoying. Thankfully I didn't miss anything!

Pros: The staff onboard was friendly and attentive. They made every effort to make sure I had whatever I wanted. Boarding was quick and easy. The onbaord entertainment system had a large selection and I was never without something worth watching.
Cons: The first class accommodation isn't as good as advertised. The seat is supposed to completely recline allowing you to sleep. Unfortunately if you're 6 foot or taller there isn't enough room. Other airlines like Emirates gives you more room in their business class so it's disappointing to see United 1st class is so cramped. The screens for the onboard entertainment system in first class are lower quality then those used in coach.

Pros: This was a first! The flight attendant (sorry I didn't catch his name) was very attentive and assisted us in first class as needed. He actually addressed us by our name and that made me feel like I was not just a passenger!

Pros: I loved the service provided by the flight attendants as as well as the gate attendant who poked, prodded and did what he could to ensure our already late flight took off before it got stuck waiting for a gate at LAX. Thanks to him and the work of the crew, not only did the flight leave ASAP, our flight arrived early.
Cons: I didn't like that the monitor for my seat was on the fritz and inoperable, which became a huge issue because of what follows. Making matters exponentially worse was the roughly 30-minute delay we experienced when we landed. Although our flight arrived at LAX early - in spite of the late departure from SLC - we were left waiting for a gate and were forced to wait for a gate. Inexplicably, the AC was turned off and the passengers all began to virtually cook while stuck in our seats. Also, due to another asinine snafu (the grounds crew didn't push a flight far out enough and blocked our plane along with eight others, which delayed our flight further. Adding insult to injury, my baggage was over 30 minutes late, too.

Cons: The alternative routing after my missed connection was not good and would have resulted in a very long travel day on a comparatively ill-equipped aircraft. So I stayed in Amsterdam on my own dime to take the same direct flight one day later.

Pros: This was an older plane with no upgrades including no Internet and the very small poor quality Monitors in the back of the seat in front of each passenger. The seats were very uncomfortable. The transfer in Vancouver after customs involved going outside in the cold to and from the bus. There was no warning. The customs area red jacketed help personnel told us that it was just as fast to go throught the general customs are instead of using our Nexus cards and this turned out to take forever. So very disappointing.
Cons: Better communication at all levels. Remember that the overall strength of a chain is only as strong as its weakest link and this trip had many weak links for us making it a challenge.

Cons: I had to travel with a wedding dress. Westjet does will NOT replace lost Wedding dresses therefore they MUST be carried onto the plane. once on the plane there is no where to hang the wedding dress. The flight attendant was kind enough to take it from me and STUFF it in the over head compartment :( I was furious!

Cons: We sat for 4 hours on the runway. Aside from 1 crew member, they were impersonal, rude, and unaccomodating. They pilot spoke overhead very pleasantly and apologetically and encouraged walking around and using the restroom but they crew gave everyone a hard time. There was no offer of complementary food service or compensation for anyone despite being on the plane for double the amount of time planned. Finally, the in flight entertainment worked for maybe half hour of the actual flight with no explanation or acknowledgement.

Pros: The flight and the seating was comfortable. Food served was fine too.
Cons: Well, they mixed up my check-in luggage during transit. As a result it got delayed and I had to spend the night without it. Although, I was informed about this miss when I landed in Vancouver, the team did not seem to feel particularly bad about it. Also, the process of getting reimbursed for the predefined expenditure allowance needs to be more efficient. Ideally, in such cases, the airlines should not only refund the check-in fee, but also provide a prepaid card to make any urgent purchases. Their current process requires one to bear the expenses initially, scan/click and send the original receipts and await a response from their baggage team. I am waiting to hear back from them on my submission.

Pros: The plane was less busy so many people had an empty seat next to them. It was great for leg room and I slept the whole flight!

Pros: The pleasantness of the crew. West Jet usually has one of the friendliest staff, in my experience.
Cons: 1st time around, I declined snacks. 2nd time around, I had my tray table down and I wasn’t asked or offered a snack. I could have asked, and my fellow passengers beside me offered to ask when she came back with his drink but I didn’t want to bother. I don’t think she would have refused but I was a bit disappointed that I wasn’t asked.

Cons: They lost my checked sleeping bag which forced me to buy another one before my backpacking trip. They refused to refund me for it costing me an extra few hundred dollars to replace it. To include I paid an extra eighty dollars for my trip because apparently I requested window seats which I wasn't provided for my return flight home! Be prepared to lose your luggage and don't expect a refund!

We had to board a bus to get to the plane and we sat there for 20 minutes breathing in exhaust while we were packed in like sardines rather than the bus going back and fourth with smaller groups. The plane was tiny, so again- no way to distance at all. Seats at the front were left unoccupied rather than allowing others to move to them for social distancing.

Pros: Upon learning that our flight was delayed, the flight attendants brought out snacks and water right away.
Cons: They started a movie, then restarted the same one an hour into it. After it ended, they played a second movie and cut it off half way to show other programming. Who would bother with a movie knowing only a part of it is being shown? That is disrespectful of our time. Boarding was a mess- everyone at once, most bags put below with luggage even though most overhead compartments were empty.

Cons: The plane had been on the ground for 6 hours prior boarding time, yet we leave until 1 hour late. Waited for the food to be loaded and then waited for paperwork to be signed. Really?

Cons: United really seems to have issues with their planes. Problems on Wednesday then again today. On Wednesday we boarded late and pushed people’s flights back because the cleaners didn’t show up at boarding time and at landing time we had to go back up when the prior flight was still on the runway.

Pros: The crew was attentive and the food was good.
Cons: Entertainment could have been better. Normally on a flight of this duration I would expect that there would be movie screens in the back of the seats that you could view a selection of movies to help pass the time. This would especially been helpful on the trip home where the flight left at 11:30 am

I saw one roll her eyes at someone in front of me when turning to head back to the galley They fulfilled my requests quickly but were rather blaaaaah. And one in particular mocked me in front of the other attendants in the galley when I engaged in a little small talk. This particular woman prompted me to take the time to write all of this

Cons: The flight was delayed several times by 15 minutes. Not sure why they could not tell us how long the flight would be delayed all at once. They track the flight and know when it will land, don’t they?

Cons: Lufthansa canceled the flights and blamed united airlines. The united airlines would not help and finally ended up having to stay in Frankfurt and now have to leave for Lisbon tomorrow and then onwards.

Pros: New plane, roomy, good free entertainment options.

Cons: This flight was canceled without a reason given aside from "air traffic control" and we had to rebook on our own, and our rebooked flight got canceled as well and United has not offered any reimbursement for flight or hotel adjustments then made me pay three separate times to check one bag.

Cons: Late flight. No support to find back-up flights. No help with tips of how to navigate chicago airport to hopefully get to connecting flight in timely manner. Shuttle service could have been mentioned. The area of the airport I would need to get to in Chicago was not known. Although thr flight to Chicago was by far not full Iwas denied my request to take my roll on on the flight. It fits under seat. I am 70 and had to run across the airport.

Cons: When we arrived at airport to print out boarding pass, my husband's and my seat were separated. We had booked them together months ago. We had to wait 30 minutes prior to takeoff in order for United staffers to look for 2 seats together. Because of the delay, we had to check our luggage in at the gate. Overall, very stressful.

I'm sure if you spend $10k + a year with them, they'll happily massage your feet as you ride along, but anyone else seems to be each flight attendant's personal enemy that they must frustrate as often as possible. Also, thank you, United, you beautiful prom queen you, for changing my seat from a window to a middle because it pleased you. It honors me to be your jest.

Pros: Crew was professional and courteous. Smooth flight. We paid an extra $98 per seat for economy plus seats, and it was worth it. Had plenty of leg room!

At the time of my flight to White Plains at 1:50 PM there was no snow in Chicago or at White Plains, Moreover the 6 PM flight left to White Plains when it was snowing both here and there. The only option given to me was standby on the 6PM flight. So, I had to cancel my flights and it ruined myu weekend.

Cons: No mechanics available and had to send for some, taking 5 hours. Didn't get to destination until late at night and missed my event.

Cons: We had to sit and wait for a while because nobody picked up the captain and co-pilot at their hotel. There was no AC in Raleigh while we were waiting, so the plane got pretty hot. The captain said "they should've known this plane has no AC and hooked up the external power, and I apologize". It wasn't great.

Cons: Our flight was not operated by Lufthansa but by United Airlines. We received no email notification of this change and were very confused when we arrived at the airport and Lufthansa employees told us they don't operate a flight direct to New York. The flight was very nice with United but notice of this change was needed.

Pros: I liked that I was given spacious accommodations for myself and my service animal.
Cons: I didn't like that we then sat on the plane for 2 hours, then had to get back off. I don't really blame United Airlines for this because there was a storm. But if Kayak wants me to rate the flight I'd have to say it was bad because it didn't even occur.

Cons: After boarding us at 11 pm a flight attendant came on the intercom to tell us that the pilot we had been waiting on was on the plane but because he had come from a delayed flight from Newark he wasn't sure if he had been working too long to fly. So we got to wait another 30 minutes until he decided he had been flying too long, and then another 20 to get another pilot. We ended up landing at 2:15 am and I finally got to my home at 3 am. United is a joke of an airline and I will never fly with them again.

Cons: The flight was delayed over an hour and a half. My girlfriend took the same flight the day before, and it was also delayed over an hour and a half. Once I can understand, twice in 2 days though?

Pros: Here's the situation- There are massive storms across the state, massive delays across the nation, and a tiny airport packed full of people. All the things needed to make a horrible flying day an even worse day for customer service. BUT the flight crew and terminal teams did an amazing job keeping things together and keeping guests happy. They communicated all the information they knew in a timely manner, and made sure to correct any connections that needed to be processed before the plan landed. Also they kept their calm as people flipped out.
Cons: I didn't lol the size of the white planes airport. That plan could hold about 150 people at best.... There was at least 600
