I did not like that the gate changed and we were not notified by the gate operators, but we did receive a text message 20 minutes after the gate was changed.
Flight crew from Geneva was nice
The pilot held the Geneva flight for 35 minutes for late arriving inbound passengers. This helped them but hurt far more passengers connecting in Washington DC. We missed our flight and waited in standby mode all evening for a Denver flight.
Delayed departure; cramped seat; minimal amenities
Second standby adventure of the day got longer as inbound flight was late.
