Pros: "The flight from Dallas was on Wednesday the 8th of August. It was scheduled for a 32 minute layover, which turned into a 30 minute layover. My son, who I booked the ticket for, ran all the way to the connecting flight's gate. They'd already closed the doors, and wouldn't let him on. Consequently he had to be re-booked onto the next flight, which didn't leave until 2200."
Cons: "Did I mention that he'd taken a Greyhound bus to Dallas from Memphis on Monday the 6th of August? He got to DFW airport on plenty of time for his flight to Scotland. It should have been DFW to JFK to Glasgow. Delta cancelled his flight. Citing "weather issues." My family researched this, and couldn't find any weather issues in the North East or NY area."
Pros: "Some of the cabin attendants were friendly and helpful. Others not so much."
Cons: "Even in "world business class" the pods are very small and cramped and there is no room to put a carry on bag even something as small as a headphone box. Also the business class bathroom was very small, very disgustingly dirty when we boarded (someone tried to clean it a bit) and dirty and small throughout the flight. The bathroom does not have ventilation and the toilet basically does not have any liquid for flushing!"

And the entertainment that is provided for the customers is fun and relaxing. Makes a 4.5 hour flight go by quick. Thank you delta, I will be flying with you in the future"

Cons: "This was a 2 layover rebooking of a one layover flight, which was late (I would be missing my connection). I asked an Air France rep in Japan to assign me an exit row seat (it’s a 14 hrs flight and I am almost 6 ft tall). She showed me the plane diagram and picked a seat, but when I arrived it turned out I was in a row directly behind. WiFi did not worked and the flight attendant said “they could not do anything” My film was interrupted twice (with a random film drubbed in Korean) and had to be reset manually Food was not great (and menues are identical on all delta flights - this was my 5th delta flight in the course of one week), the snack in particular (leek and mushroom cream soup-like mass wrapped in a tortilla - who ever thought of this? And one of the flight attendants was aloof and snappy."

My knees were up against the seat in front and my back is sore from having to spend most of the trip twisted to try to fit into the small space. Also, my seat was is row 16 and was called a “premium” seat and I was charged an extra $24 for it. I did not find it any different than all the seats around me. What was the extra charge for?"

Cons: "My one piece of hard shell luggage has a special, difficult way of latching. As long as nobody opens it, it stays fine for shipping. The problem is your greedy Chinese luggage handling thieves who work for your airlines in Chinese airports. Whenever they can steal from luggage, they always try to steal from passengers, particularly American. I have had multiple experiences with theft from Chinese airports. I have been to China and back to the USA five times. Many times, items have disappeared from my suitcases in Chinese airports. That is why I decided not to move to China to live but instead move to Indonesia. However, if I fly any plane that transfers my luggage in China, I can usually expect to have my luggage robbed. Although this time, nothing was missing from my luggage, that fact that your people had to wrap my suitcase in plastic (because they did not know the secret for relatching it) and resend it a day later, that is proof that one of your airport personnel opened it to see what he could steal and then got caught because he could not close it again. I am really really really tired of you Chinese thieves. I blame all of you because you are all a product of Mao Tse Tung’s godless atheistic evil society. The Chinese have proven to me again and again that they cannot be trusted. A Kong Chinese official even stole my Ohio driver’s license when I transferred through that airport on a previous trip to Jakarta. I understand your problem. If you fire all dishonest luggage department workers, you will not have any workers remaining. That is why you will always rank as a third world backward primitive society even though you buy expensive airplanes that you don’t build and dress your people up like professionals which they aren’t. AS LONG AS Chinese airport luggage people are dishonest and cannot be trusted, your entire airline is a failure. That is not prejudice against Chinese people. I know some honest good ones. They are all Christians, the kind of good people the corrupt Chinese government hates. An atheistic country is an evil country. Do not expect to be respected by honest people. You people clearly do not deserve it. You are still in the stone age when it comes to professionalism which requires total honesty, a quality which your luggage handlers consider to be dispensable. Such cave men they are!"

I had to go through customs and re enter the airport going through security to board the Vancouver fligh. Slept in a hotel for four hours, paid for by Air Canada, went back to the airport through security again and flew to Portland."
Cons: "I did not make this flight. Instead was re-routed and spent 12 hours overnight in the Vancouver airport before getting to fly to Portland, without my luggage that was left behind in Toronto."
Cons: "I was held back for 'random' security check. Security lost my boarding pass and didn't care. Only found it because my friend asked them to check a table where they had put it. They didn't apologize for any inconvenience and instead security chief kept asking more questions. Truly atrocious customer service."

Cons: "This Air Canada flight was operated by Lufthansa and was cancelled due to the strike. So, this means that I am still in Germany which is not the worst place in the world to be stuck, especially because my parents live here. So a few day longer are not a problem for me, but if it takes a week, it is not good because I am supposed to be at work and I am using up vacation I had planned to spent with my family."

Cons: "One of the attendants yelled at anyone who needed to use the bathroom whenever the seatbelt sign was on. Understandable when the plane was actually experiencing turbulence but most of the time it was a smooth flight. Know there are regulations concerning this but I feel she could have been a bit nicer in her tone. Thankfully there was an empty seat just outside the toilet so that I could sit but anyone who arrived after me was told to return to their seat. When nature calls, sometimes it's impossible to walk very far."

It took an extremely long time to get through American customs, and they were very rude, not caring if people missed connecting flights. They wouldn't add workers. Some almost missed the flight. P"

Somehow all of these seats were changed without an update to us. We did not sit together at all on any of our flights and were put in middle seats, which is not what we originally requested. We were both very upset with this as some of these were long flights."

Cons: "On the flight from Portland to Vancouver, someone was allowed to board the plane and then leave, with no explanation, no accompaniment, and no way of contacting him. Consequently, our flight was delayed 3 hours while police and bomb squads checked the plane and all the baggage. Why was this person allowed to disembark in the first place? This occurred during boarding, so there should have been attendants there to stop him or at least ask him where he was going. And once he did disembark, why was no one able to track where he went? Seems like an odd security breach and, ultimately, a huge inconvenience for the passengers who remained on the plane."

And, of course, we were always told, it will be just a few more minutes each time so for three hours we were stuck, milling around @ the gate.....well actually between two gates because they kept changing gates.......waiting for the flight. If I'd know it was going to be 3 hours, I would have maybe gotten some food and wandered away to find a place that had a spot to sit. Instead, standing on one foot and then the other, hungry for three house while Air Canada got their #@%*# together and found a plane that actually functioned appropriately."
Cons: "The final leg of our travel boarded over 2 hours late. No compensation given for that. Two planes were declared not fly worthy-low confidence. While not Air Canada's responsibility, Toronto's Pearson Airport was awful. We went through many airports on our travels and this stood out as the worst. Constant security checks that seemed unnecessary. Poor line management. Not enough security/immigration kiosks. Very expensive food. During our 2+hour delay for boarding, we observed constant gate changes for other flights. Flight organization seems poor."

We couldn't put the arm rest down between us he was so fat. I am a 60 year old man that is 5 ft 10 in and weighs 165 pounds with a slender frame. Plus, the guy had BODY ODOR and smelled horrible. It was a 100% full flight or I would have asked to be moved. Now, about two hours later after the flight, my body is sore from sitting awkward for nearly 3 hours. At that point half of the plane had boarded and the other half got to gawk at him while they boarded as he was "strapped in." Getting him in his seat with a full flight was difficult and embarrassing for him. He's flown cross country and internationally many times, and this was a first. For this and a couple incidents regarding our trip from Milwaukee to Medford, by way of Denver, we no longer plan to fly United."
