They are so strict with liquids that all baby foods had to put in a separate bin and we had to go to another security point for clearance. It took 2.5 hours to go through all that, that is with wheelchair priority! Boarding was horrible at the gate."
Cons: "Flight was late arriving to George Town due to mechanical trouble. when it did arrive and we got boarded there was another 15 minute delay for more mechanical trouble. There were no meals available for purchase on the plane as they had only stocked the flight for one leg of the trip and not the return leg. We were told at check in that we would have to pick our bags up in Detroit before getting on our connection to Toronto. In fact they were actually checked through. Due to the delays we missed our connection in Detroit. The Delta Agent was rude and did not want to give us a hotel voucher. She also said the next flight she could book us in was 24hrs later. She was unwilling to book us on an earlier flight with a different carrier. After we got her supervisor involved we were given a hotel and booked on an early flight the next day. I would not fly Delta again if I had the choice."

After more calls put me in another United flight later that night which also finally got cancelled. I had to book a new flight with delta and paid $460 on the spot for that. Still awaiting my refund from American for the return leg which was cancelled and left a lady traveling alone stranded at Detroit airport in the night. Apology or compensation -- forget it, you will never get that! Only now if they can refund my cancelled flight..."

Cons: "The flight was originally scheduled to take off at 8:20 pm, but due to several delays did not end up getting off the ground until after 11 pm. After being in the air for about 45 minutes we were informed that there were issues with the engine and that we would be turning around and heading back to Dallas. By this point it was after midnight, and although I was appreciative that safely is a priority, there was no communication as to what the next steps were. After landing we were finally told that we would have to deplane, and after we sat around the gate for awhile we were informed that the flight would be delayed until 5 am. Being 12:50 am at this point a hotel would have been nice, but we were informed that AA was "out of hotels" but that if we wanted we could have a $12 food voucher to use at the one restaurant that was open several terminals over. The AA employee assisting in handing out the food vouchers seemed extremely unapologetic about the situation which didn't help with the frustration everyone was feeling. I will not be booking with AA again, and will be passing along my negative experience to family and friends. It is worth spending the extra money on a ticket for an airline that is more reliable with better customer service."

They even made smart remarks about people going to the bathroom when we pulled back in... I feel some of them acted extremely unprofessional and I truly never want to fly with this company again."

I finally arrived to the front of the line after about 45 minutes and 50% of the people behind me were on flights leaving in 30 minutes or less and had to go ahead of my husband and I. They obviously did not arrive with the advised amount of time allowance. It wasn't my fault I arrived with plenty of time and I had to deal with the verbal abuse from people having to go ahead. Maybe if they missed their flight, next time they would arrive earlier with enough time. It sure wasn't a very pleasant experience at all."

Cons: "I did not like that I had to pay extra to select a seat, especially because the seat was not any more comfortable or spacious than the other seats on the plane. The staff rolled their eyes when customers requested service. I am never flying Frontier again."

Cons: "The seats are crazy narrow, you have to pay a lot extra to have any legroom at all, basically 18th century slave ship seating. Virtually all baggage is an up charge, even carry on, and they wouldn't even give you a bottle of water, that was like $2 or so. At the end of the day, a $105 ticket winds up costing $335"
Cons: "The stewardess announced baggage would be at 3, so we followed signs to baggage claim #3 and waited over 1/2 hour to find out she should have said TERMINAL 3. We had to take a bus to that terminal, ended up 2 hours behind schedule."
Pros: "The plane was clean and the attendants were professional as well as funny in their presentation. There was adequate leg room and the cabin conditions were good (ie lighting and temperature). It was overall a good flight! The flight was on time leaving and arrived 40 minutes early, quite a surprise, maybe a tail wind."
Cons: "I know the flight , for me, was a great price, but a small drink of either water or pop would have been appreciated."

Pros: "Once we got on the airplane (which we almost missed due to check in delays), the flight was fine. The inability to recline seats at least guaranteed me some room to use the tiny tray table."

Cons: "The overall process of flying with frontier had much to be desired. I couldn't even get a glass of water on the flight. The boarding process was slower than slow and the gate crew and flight crew made that process worse. They kept telling us we were going to board and then we waited and waited and waited. Very unfriendly."
Cons: "Check in line took over an hour and almost caused us and several other passengers to miss our flights. Seats are cramped and uncomfortable. Hidden fees are worse than any other airline. Initial tickets are cheap but eventually cost as much as any other airline, I will remember this in the future and avoid booking with Frontier whenever possible."

We had to walk and and were almost the last to board due to the time it took him to get there. It was terrible service and those who saw him and turned us down should be ashamed."

Cons: "To find out I had to pay for a seat selection and a carry on bag! Silly me I thought the price of a ticket included a seat. Overall round trip an extra $92.00!!! For real? Give me a break. Seats are uncomfortable, they didn't recline. I have flown Frontier before and it was not like this at all. Don't even get a complimentary beverage."

Airbus seating was cramped, Tray tables were so small that my cut could not securely sit on it with small children bumping the seat in front of me. Riding on a bus is more comfortable. After 3 hours my back was sore from the stiff seats."

Cons: "I didn't know how to rate food and entertainment since I didn't use those services. Why must the Frontier flights always be late? It was delayed both out to LasVegas and back to Milwaukee. Also, we were told that the flight to Milwaukee was delayed but it NEVER showed on the departures board nor was the time changed at the gate. These seem to be simple adjustments to make for all passengers to see that there was a change but it was never done and led to a lot of confusion."
Cons: "Flights were cancelled due to ice in Detroit which is understandable, but Frontier couldn't rebook my flight until three days later! I am much wiser now as I realize that only one flight per day in and out of Detroit can really have a negative impact on one's travel schedule. The money I spent over those 3 days far exceeded the ticket price of other carriers."

Cons: "I was forced to gate check my mini skateboard, although it could easily and safely fit under my seat, and it wasn't there when I reached my final destination. While waiting at the gate check, the pilot informed me that it should be at the baggage claim. After waiting an hour for my checked bag, the skateboard never showed up. I spoke with baggage services and they tried calling the gate and no one would answer. I waited an extra hour and still no skateboard. Very poor service"
Cons: "I'm not a fan of when you purchase a ticket thinking you've paid the biggest expense and it shouldn't be too bad after that. Little was I aware I was going to be spending an additional 200$ just to pick a seat (so I could sit next to the person I purchased the ticket with), and check a bag (because carrying on was more expensive). I'd rather have the full up front cost than add it on when I don't have a choice."
Pros: "This was our first time flying Frontier and we were very pleased. The flight staff was very accommodating, outgoing, friendly, and funny. We will fly Frontier again."

Cons: "There was a family with 3 young kids, Infant and a like 4 and 5 year old, complete brats with parents that were unable to control and they were loud and awful the entire flight. The flight crew did nothing, and I was grateful to be 2 rows away and not the people that were getting pounded by the kids feet. Not really Frontier's fault, but the crew could have tried to get the parents to do more. Having once 5 Daughters 8 and younger, more could have been done. Here's a hint: Even a slight effort saying something, to show you actually acknowledge the issue would have been some comfort to those of us around this family. Kids will often listen better to people other than parents."
