Made “ exhausted” comment about getting a lime wedge for a margarita & then went to rear of plane to chat with other flight attendents. Worse, we booked with kayak, but actually the delta/ Aeromexico flight was booked with vayama. When one flight changed departure time, we no longer had our great pre-selected seats & couldn’t check in online. We had to work it out with delta & then aero Mexico t. After 30 min on the phone we got the last 3 bavk row seats near the toilets & cackling, aging flight attendants. No reclining or real food made for a lousy 3 1/2 hr lunch flight. No apologies, smiles of sympathy. Just snacks tossed our way"

I paid $11 for a tiny sandwich (it fit in the palm of my already small hands). I will definitely get good at the airport next time. It may be just as expensive, but at least it will be filling."

Pros: "The sandwich was okay. I liked the individual video screens, good entertainment options. I like that my checked bag was free."
Cons: "Some of the flight attendants were rude. I was seated in an emergency exit isle, and I was told that I couldn’t have my handbag under the seat in front of me. This is the first time I’ve heard of a airline with this policy. My bag was put in the overhead bin and I couldn’t access my tablet or headphones or medicine during the flight. Also, the chair (maybe because it was the exit row) would not recline. This was pretty terrible for a red eye flight. I asked the flight attendant if I could switch seats, (well before take off) I didn’t mind if it was a middle seat, just somewhere I could have my bag with me... she rudely remarked that the plane was late and I needed to sit back down. Terrible service, it was a simple request. I’m sure someone with long legs would have been happy to switch with me. I also don’t like that my carry on bags had a weight limit."

Now, on my way back, there was a 5 hour delay. The treatment was much better than other airlines, but it would have been better to let us know that we could track the plane from GDL. Now my only complaint regarding the small airplane from MTY to NYC is that the entertainment is provided via a mobile device, yet there's no ports for charging it, and there's no way a device will last that long, which made the whole excercise totally useless."

Pros: "After the initial delay, the female desk agent got us on another connecting flight without a problem. Second flights attendant was also great."
Cons: "They boarded the plane, only to tell us they had to de-ice, which is understandable. However, after waiting 20 min for the de-icing that never came, they made us get back off the plane because of mechanical issues. The captain/pilot was rude to the woman working the desk over the radio, to the point where she had to leave the desk and go speak to him in person (she knew we could hear everything.) That conversation is also how the whole line of people was informed that then knew about this mechanical issue since the night before, and chose not to fix it before boarding all of us. After getting to Philadelphia later than expected, we were forced to pay for hotel food that was horrible and overpriced. Only to then have our plane be delayed AGAIN because of mechanical issues, again the pilot not giving much information to the attendant she was faced by a room of 40 angry people and had no answers. The departure time slowly crawled out longer, and the only reason I knew was because of having the American app. Information/communication on all ends was poor. I usually fly Allegiant, which is notoriously “cheap,” and I’ve never had an experience like this. Happy my boyfriend has flown with American before and knew to give us an extra day so we didn’t miss the wedding we paid $800 in airline tickets to attend. Just disappointed."

This seems to slow the process of boarding as know passengers are asked multiple times to check baggage (for free, which is the one nice thing) before boarding b/c the overheads will be too full. Group 6 which I was in seemed like it was just the rest of the plane. Super busy, took me forever to get to my seat all the way in the back. Why don't airlines reverse board? People sitting in the back should board first. I feel like this would save so much time."

It was very inconvenient for all passengers since there was not a good area to fiill out the forms and it slowed everyone down. First time I can ever recall the airlines not having the forms available before we landed"

Pros: "I have to use crutches to walk and before bording one of the attendants noticed me and changed me to priority bording and seatimg on the plain, she then came and helped me making sure I was the first person to board the plain."

Because our connecting flight left milwaukee over an hour late, we had no time to even grab a sandwich, no problem we will buy food on the plane. Wrong! The food is was gone so quickly that by the time they got to us, they were out of everything. Oh did I mention we also had 3 children ages 2, 7, and 9. Oh yes and the entertainment? Small screens mounted on the ceiling of the plane. How about updating your equipment?? Plane was old. No USB to charge your phone and stream from their App. Terrible. We own a 2nd home in Maui and travel there twice per year. Looking at other options."

My phone just says the plane is sky west, me and the other workers at the airport had no idea what this meant. Very frustrating experience trying to check in, finally walker talkie a guy that new it was American. Frustrating I thought I would miss my flight, why not clearly state it's not an Alaska flight."

On the flight from Mex City to LAX the bathroom facilities were so limited that some Economy class passengers had to try to use the business class or first class facilities' An FA then came on the intercom and said Economy class must only use their own facilities and this is according to an FAA regulation. THat is a straight out lie. If you eliminate bathrooms from Economy class to squeeze in more seats this problem will persist. American Airlines should be ashamed of itself."

Wow, what a great movie, especially for a bunch of adults. The other, The Big Short, at least 6 months old and I'd already seen it. Really poor sound. Take some of your profits, American, and upgrade your equipment. I will really try my best to avoid flying on your airline again."

I did not know my seating had been changed."

Seemed aa if no one at SFO was happy to be working there or even worse didnt know what to do most of the time. VERY different than the DEN united experience."

Also, the debits from my account said United as well as priceline taking me to United's web page to make the purchase. So of course one would think cancelling through United's site is appropriate. I'm very disappointed in United and will consider all other options (Airlines) before booking with them again. PS - United customer gave me the run around for 3 days knowing that it was their policy and they were the company who's keeping my money. Absolutely ridiculous."

The crew was fantastic and had paramedics load the plane to check on toddler. The family deboarded and United crew cleaned the throw up. The pilots kept the passengers informed and we proceeded with the flight. The flight attendants were fantastic, particularly the brunette attendant who remembered me from a previous flight. Best flight attendant ever!! Thank you United!!!"

Pros: "I arrived at the aurport 1 hr 20 mins before flight - plenty if time to check in and make it to gate at a small airport ad Newark is. Wanted to check in online - the United System did not allow me to. Had to wait in line - long line due to holidays. I raised my hand and asked for assistance given the impending 1 hr cut off time for check in. Was told I should go to the special assustance line. Well, guess what - that line which was meant to be express service for fliers with special situations was moving with the speed of a tortoise - slower than the general line. Only 2 flight assistants were servicing, both incredibly slow. When asked politely that I need special assistance as I was approaching the 1 hr cut iff fir checkin, the United lady yelled at me instead of speeding up her slow motion. Bottom line, I missed my flight on a tiny airport dedpite arriving 1 hr 20 mins before flight. Had to wait 14 hrs overnight at the airport to catch the next flight because the United Airlines personnel are lazy, slow, inefficient, rude and no customer oriented. Terrible service."

I also was unable to get to the airport earlier so I was required to buy a flight through Southwest. Customer service was kind but only able to refund me a mere $7.31 for not allowing me to print the pass at the airport. I will not be flying Spirit in the future."

I thought each passenger was allowed a carry on bag. Spirit Airlines determined that my wife's purse was a carry on bag. Most women carry a purse so we were penalized for her extra bag. We will not fly with Spirit again. Spirit won $55 but lost two travelers."

Cons: "I was very surprised to learn that I would be charged $45 dollars for my carry on, both ways! This hidden cost would have impacted my decision when choosing a flight. In addition, I didn't purchase a seat another $25. I found it interesting that I was unable to print a boarding pass. I called customer service and was told that they can't print a boarding pass for me, but would report the issue to IT. I can't help but wonder if they were holding back my pass, hoping someone would purchase a ticket. There was no entertainment. Passengers in my area were over served, and were loud and using profane language to the point that departing passenger, several rows ahead, made a point to turn around and see who was responsible for the commotion. I will never fly Spirit again."

Cons: "The plane was delayed but no information was given to the crowded waiting passengers. Only after the 8:35 departure time had passed did the updated 9:00 pm time get posted without any announcement nor explanation. At 8:55 the time was again changed to 9:30 pm without announcement. When the boarding commenced there was request for orderly boarding by groups. After the plane was boarded, there was a 10 minute delay and then additional passengers began boarding by dribs and drabs. Finally we did take off and the flight was uneventful. I believe you could have made announcements to explain that there was a necessary delay and this would have allayed the passengers anxiety and allowed a more relaxed boarding process. This is the second flight I took in two day on Spirit and both flights were substantially delayed without any public announcement of the delays. This is less professional than most other airlines' behavior."

Cons: "The website to pre-check bags and pick seats were deceitful. 1st they tell you one price online for a checked bag, then when you get there oh no bag is too heavy, we are not like other airlines that give you up to 50 pounds, so you have to pay an extra $30 ....after I paid online for a checked bag for $42-ONE WAY. So a whopping $72 later for a ONE WAY ride...costs more than my actual plane ticket! Then I asked if I would've left the desk and went on my phone and ordered a heavier bag price would it have been cheaper? oh yes it would have....seriously? and You didn't tell me that why? oh yeah cuz you are shady. 2 out of 5 stars for Spirit! the plane staff were very nice, but the flight wouldn't even give you a glass of water-nope had to pay for a full bottle-$3. I thought I was getting a deal and ended up paying what I would have if I went directily on their website to get full price for a plane that gave you free drinks and snacks and free checked bag. Frontier was soooooo much better!!"

Then change your gate 5 min before take off and make you listen to the staff TRY to be the last comic standing. Never again will I fly with these guys. $75 for a check in bag? Then another $5/10 per person for snacks? The flight was $50 cheaper then anyone else but luckily it wasn't an emergency flight and I had extra money on me."
