Cons: "Seemed like a good price until I booked and then had to pay for add on such as a carry on piece of luggage. They also gave a sales pitch onboard about "their" credit card. Seats were crowded and uncomfortable. The flight attendants seemed as if they would have rather been anywhere but helping passengers. Both flights were late not due to weather. After booking this flight with all of the ad ons, I found I could have flown Sun Country or Delta for less - and next time I will use another airline."

Cons: "I contacted Frontier about a week before my flight to let them know my friend I was flying to visit had to make an emergency trip to see her father who was dying of liver failure. On the first attempt I was notified that only immediate family members were would be an excuse but that I could try to request through a different faucet of emergency circumstances. I put through another request and was never contacted. I did not fly to Salt Lake but I was still charged even though they could very well have sold my seat to another person and made double the money for the seat. I am very disappointed with the service I received from Frontier."

Cons: "We were part of the week when Frontier had a horrendous problem with on-schedule flights. We were two hours late for a 2.5 hour flight. At the gate, attendants were very poor at communicating. Couldn't hear them on the PA. Several people asked me "do you know what zone they are currenly loading?". They board weirdly - instead of back to front. When we got on (seated near the very rear) there were people seated everywhere. Slowed down loading, which slowed down departure. (2.5 hours late) Rows too close together, absolutely no leg room. Seats are the bare minimum - wouldn't recommend a long flight. Not sure I will fly with Frontier again. Will have to pony up the dollars for a better airline."

Cons: "They just boarded all groups at the same time. It was chaos and caused a mess with where people were putting their bags. Also, I paid extra to board early, so this was even more frustrating. I don't like that everything is for sale. Water, carry ons, come on! You end up being more expensive than flying another airline."

Cons: "At airport 2 hours before flight and still missed flight due to check in lines that were the length of the entire terminal. Knowing the capacity of planes and number of booked flights, one would think they would have more than 4 people working the checking in counters. Did not receive a refund for flight and baggage fees. I will NEVER Frontier again!"

Pros: "My God what an excruciating 3 hour endeavor. Kicks, screams, and all in the awful pitch of a little brat. Kid wouldn't sit down and wouldn't shut up. Flight was full so when I asked to move there were no other options. In all of the flights of my life, by far the worst experience."

Cons: "Just ridiculous, as follows: 1-Deceptive web page at check in makes you think paying extra for seats is required 2-Seats don't recline unless you PAY EXTRA 3-Carry on bag? PAY EXTRA 4-Care for a Soda? PAY EXTRA 5-Tray table - the size of a business envelope? Really? 6-In-flight magazine? HA! Read the safety info or the back of the barf bag, that's all Frontier provides. 7-Paid $50 each to upgrade seats to front (1st class?) No refreshments, no amenities, just a bigger tray table and a reclining seat. For $50. Sat on tarmac for 1.5 hours in 90 degree heat. I know this because I could hear the pilot yelling over the radio that it was 90 degrees in the plane. No A/C while on tarmac because APU was down, according to pilot announcement. Everyone I talked to felt deceived by the online check in and the extra charge for seats (if you want to sit with your party, otherwise no guarantees). Bad representation, deceptive web check in, uncomfortable plane, zero amenities unless you PAY EXTRA. Sorry Frontier, but FAIL!!!!"

Pros: "The price was good, but I would've been better off with a different airline."
Cons: "Every seat was the same but there was an upcharge on different flights. I paid an extra $9.00 for a window seat in the back of the plane and it would've been $20.00 for the same seat closer to the front. They also charge for bags whether they are carry on or checked. My first flight, a kid in front of me threw up and it went under his seat and all inside of my bag. I spent the entire flight cleaning puke off of my computer and my clothes. The flight attendant just told me there were paper towels in the lavatory. When we finally arrived at 11pm we sat in the runway for 30-45 minutes until our gate was clear. Then we finally pulled up and it took another 15-20 mins for them to attach the bridge for us to get off the plane."

Pros: "Only thing I liked was the cheaper price, but I am thinking it wasn't really worth it."
Cons: "Our plane boarded an hour late. Didn't give any explanation until it was the time we should have taken off. Sat on the runway at our destination which I understand was not the airlines fault, but still not a lot of forthcoming information. Felt like there was even less leg room than on a Southwest plane and I am petite. Can't imagine a big person or tall person sitting in those seats. The half trays were of little use except for to put your drink on. Yes, it was a little cheaper that we didn't have luggage, but I think I'll go back to Southwest."

Pros: "The safety of the flight, kindness of the attendants and the cleanliness of the plane."
Cons: "The hidden fees. I purchased a ticket not knowing that I would then have to pay for a seat! How ridiculous is that??? Did you expect I would hold on to a handle like on a subway??? If I purchase a ticket, I expect that to include a seat. Your ploy to attract people to purchase tickets, and then charge up the nose for even a seat as well as a carry on bag and peanuts, is not impressive. I will not purchase a ticket on Frontier again and I will definitely let my friends and family know that they will be paying just as much for Southwest if they do so. I'd rather know up front what the total charges will be. Very disappointed in this aspect of my purchase."

Pros: "Carry-on passengers getting zone one loading was wonderful to let everyone with bulky items get out of the way."
Cons: "The fees, on top of fees, on top of fees. Lack of entertainment at all. The fact you charged me to change my name on my boarding pass, which is GD ridiculous. Seriously, the name change fee, and baggage fee made my fare over DOUBLE what I originally paid. It's robbery and I won't be flying this airline again."

Cons: "Arrived well before the flight to check bag which I paid $35 (highest rate for check in bag yet-compared to other airlines). Took over an hour to check bag as there was one person checking bags at DIA. The other employee was assigned to the customers who had paid a premium fee. Many of the customers left the long lines and went to curb side to check their bags. When I arrived at gate, flight was delayed. I got on the plane and into my seat. Unfortunately, I was not paying attention and sat in 8F, not 8E. There was a woman and her daughter who came on late and they gave 8E to the daughter. Moments later a woman, came and asked me to show my boarding pass. I took out my phone but forgot I had switched it to airplane mode as we were due to leave. In a full flight, the woman (Robin), started telling me that I was on the wrong flight and that I was on the later flight. I couldn't bring up my seat assignment because I was frazzled and embarrassed as she insisted I get up and leave with her. I thought we were going out to check my assignment, but when I got out to the gate, I realized that the plane was leaving. Robin and the crew realized they had made a mistake and told me the only thing they could do was get me on the 10 p.m. flight out of Denver. Never have I been treated so poorly. All someone had to do was ask my name which did not happen until I was totally humiliated as I struggled to get off the plane and was out at the gate. I was reimbursed my flight and was given a check and a $15 voucher for dinner which didn't cover my dinner. I took the later flight and arrived home at 0100 a.m. My husband had to come home from the coast (2 hour drive) to take care of our dogs who were waiting for me to come home to feed them and get them out of the heat."

Pros: "The security line to the Frontier concourse was unbelievably long, and even though Frontier knew this, it insisted on closing the plane door right on time, at 10 minutes before departure, even though 6 non-related passengers were going to miss the flight. If they had kept the door open 2 extra minutes, all 6 passengers would have made the flight. Ultimately, the plane left 10 minutes late, so 20 minutes after the door closed. I've had enough of Frontier's inflexibility and will gladly pay a higher fare for a different airline."

Pros: "Pissed to be charged 60 dollars for a carry on briefcase. Fuel costs are down its about time these airlines stop gouging us. I try not to fly Frontier and this reminded me why."

Pros: "Very low quality seats and definately not worth the extra money we paid for the so called more leg room No plug on under the seats and no wi-fi. 1.99 for a soda really? Too much mo way for baggage. Will not fly frontier again, you can get better seats and accommodations for the same price or cheaper on other airlines. Definately would choose United or American Airlines"

Cons: "Even though the ticket is cheap, you have to pay outrageous prices for literally everything else. You have to pay to reserve a seat (any seat) otherwise they can separate your family on the plane. You have to pay for drinks (even water) no matter how long your flight. You don't get a free carry on bag and if you don't book the bag before you get to the airport it can cost you north of 45$ to check it. The accommodations themselves were not great. The chairs have no cushioning, don't recline, are so close together that I couldn't cross my legs, and the tray table is 4 inches wide and couldn't even hold my laptop. The flight attendants on both flights were extremely rude and ran into me with the drink cart twice. One of the flight attendants when asked if the AC would be turned on since the flight was pretty warm asked if the woman wasn't just having hot flashes. She was upset tingly abrasive. The flight was delayed on the Tarmac for over an hour because the team couldn't load the baggage on the flight. The flight team didn't give us any explanation of the delay beyond that, they didn't update is on the expected time delay and they never apologized for the delay. When we did finally get going the flight crew was very rude with asking people to sit back down. Worst of all was that after all of that they lost my luggage. Despite a 2 hour layover and 1 hour delay at the gate specifically because they weren't done loading the luggage Frontier couldn't manage to get my luggage from gate 42 to gate 44... The whole experience was awful. I would never fly with them again no matter how cheap the ticket."

Cons: "I got Frontier because I thought I got I good deal but end the end of the trip with all the extra fee on carrier on I spent more than other airline where all the seat can be recliner, sodas free and carrier on are free too. I will try to avoid to use Frontier airlines."

Cons: "If you're going to charge people for things like carry on, and seat assignment there's no chance you'll ever be my go-to airline again. If you are going to charge that much, at least give me a free cookie, include a tv on back of my seat. Most of all, give the the option to recline my seat!"

Cons: "I tried frontier for the first time and I will never make that mistake again. To be fair part of this is my responsibility, I should have done more research into exactly how much the extra fees were going to cost. After it was all said and done I spent more traveling with frontier than I would have with American or Delta. They charged for absolutely everything. Here is where they truly lost me as a potential return customer. They allow you a personal item as long as it fits under your seat but will charge you for a carry on. The personal item I had on my flight out to Denver did not cost me anything, however, the exact same item on my way out of Denver was now deemed a carry on item by the ticketing agent and cost me $45 to carry on. Not only was I being extorted but the attitude in which they were doing it was completely unacceptable. Had I known, I could have saved some money and paid on line for the carry on. Changing the rules of the game and providing me no remedy when I ask about the change in policy by responding, "I'm saying its a carry on" is why I will never fly frontier again. Do yourself a favor and spend the money on the front end because frontier will find a way to squeeze it out of you on the backend. And will expect you to smile and thank them for it."

Cons: "Traveling with a child is trying enough, not to mention a delayed flight too Denver and then on the way back. Poor communication from staff letting the restless passengers know what was going on .... flight attendants were not friendly, didn't even acknowledge our child. The seat back trays were awful and poorly designed."

Pros: "I booked Frontier for the low price. But after going to a farther away airport and paying for bags and seats and drinks and sitting in an uncomfortable seat, I am not so sure it was a great deal. I am happy that I did pay less than other airlines even with the cost of checking a bag (less cost than carrying one one) and for the seat. Because it is more costly to carry on a bag, hardly anyone did leaving lots of room in the overhead compartments and speeding up boarding and deplaning considerably. Snacks and drinks were reasonably priced and lower cost than in the airport. Only snacks like chips and beef jerky are available so if you want food, bring your own. Flight attendants were friendly. My bag arrived on the same flight that I did and it was in good condition. We were reasonably close to on time."
Cons: "Seats are short front to back and don't recline. There was barely enough room between seats to force by backpack down to the floor and almost no room on the floor to hold it leaving me with no where to put my feet except on top of it. My legs are long and about 1/2 of my leg was not supported by the seat. This was manageable for a short flight but I would certainly not book a long flight with these seats. We spent considerable time on the tarmac waiting at both ends. I am not clear on the delay at the beginning of each flight. The delay at the end was related to Frontier only having 1 gate at each airport so we had to wait until it was free. Yes, we landed 20 minutes ahead of time, but we got into the gate 20 minutes late - meaning sitting on the tarmac for 40 minutes. Bags were slow to come up. Probably because everyone checked them so there were many."

Cons: "Flight 33 minutes late leaving. Did not realize Frontier now charges for everything. My mistake but realized I could have flown on American for same price after all extras added to ticket by Frontiet. Not likely to ever fly on Frontier again."

Pros: "Friendly, comfortable and timely flight."
Cons: "Free drinks? Seemed lacking compared to other flights! Also, baggage allowance? The hidden fees are crazy and not appreciated."

Pros: "Flight was short"
Cons: "I was not informed that I would be forced to pay for a carry-on, which was more expensive than checking my bag. I checked it, which then forced me to have an additional 30 minute wait at baggage claim. Horrible experience especially due to the splitting headache from the child who was screaming louder than I ever thought humanly possible (that obviously wasn't the airline's fault though)."

Pros: "We arrived early!"
Cons: "The $20 in extra charges for the most uncomfortable seats ever. I was also never made aware of the extra charges for carry on items. At least be up front about it. Made my round trip ticket almost $100 more in fees."

Pros: "New plane (A321)! Everything was very clean!! My tickets were still under $275 round trip with baggage fees. Very inexpensive!"

Cons: "First time flying Frontier. Great advertised rate round trip Sea to Denver $140 vs next best AK at $170. Receive email to pick seat, Suprise... They cost $9-36 each way, no mention of free seats if you just show up and go open seating. also Suprise# 2 carrying are $40 each way. I choose $18 seats and had a carry on so total trip ended up being $140 + $126 in a frontier gotcha money an increase in fare of almost double. I did find out about the seat chafe scam before checking in and asked to just go open seat.....uhh no. So how much would the Alaska Air trip have been....$170 plus $0 for assigned seat and $0 for carry on so $170. So fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me.... Their will not be a twice and I suggest Kayak add some notes to fares to avoid future bilking by Frontier."
