Cons: "I’m disabled and was assisted from the pavement to the plane seat. Excellent all the way around."

Pros: "Great flight, great take off, great landing, great staff"
Cons: "Nothing. Very good"
Cons: "Like the welcoming smiling stewardess"
Pros: "Burbank airport was awesome"
Cons: "More snacks!"
Cons: "The entertainment Wi-Fi didn’t work well"
Cons: "Things would’ve been a lot better if my flight was on time and my bags got to the carousel in a timely manner. Alaska has a 20 minute guarantee. Yeah not so much in this case"
Pros: "Crew was considerate and prompt."
Cons: "Could have been on time"
Pros: "Great crew, smooth landing."
Cons: "The “Mediterranean tapas” meal is basically a tiny tiny school lunch, minus the comfort of PB&J. Want dried apricots? You get FOUR. All in all not too bad though. The entertainment/WiFi system is limiting- maybe REMIND us to bring headphones? And no WiFi unless you have T-Mobile? Tease."
Pros: "Crew was great! Very friendly and accommodating."
Cons: "Space was tight. Would’ve liked a little more room"
Cons: "Baggage claim terminal wasn’t announced. Everyone went to the wrong place."
Cons: "Delayed flight"
Pros: "My husband and I paid for WiFi and it never worked"
Pros: "Kind crew"
Cons: "It was great and early!"
Pros: "New plane well configured for short flights. Super. . Super crew — efficient/professional. Will utilize the flight btn. Santa Rosa & LAX on a regular basis."
Cons: "My seat was broken. It wouldn’t recline, and the headrest wouldn’t slide up. Boarding process was confusing. I was assigned to board with group 3, but they started boarding by letter."
Pros: "Great staff, quiet journey"
Cons: "Older plane, limited leg room"
Pros: "On board staff was great. Flight was great."
Cons: "I bought tickets with the understanding a normal carry on was ok. When I arrived at the gate for our flight we were told Alaska had a new policy that started 6/4 (we were flying on 6/7) that only allowed a much smaller size carry-on. If suitcases didn’t fit the new smaller size rules one had to pay $25 and check it. We have three people flying round trip - that would add $150 to our total. I shopped carefully for low fares. Many people on the flight had to pay at the gate. Not cool Alaska."
Pros: "Great conversation with a fellow passenger, food and drinks were enjoyable for the short flight, and the crew was friendly."
Pros: "No one sat in the middle seat! Smooth flight!"
Cons: "Waiting to board"
Pros: "The staff is always super friendly, and with an hour and a half on the plane before we left one stewardess gave me free pringles (that I was going to pay for) because our 2 year old was “hangry”. I appreciate the gesture to make our day a little easier."
Cons: "I didn’t not enjoy sitting on the plane at the gate for an hour and a half. I wish we could or deplaned (or had the option to), with a 2 year old we needed to entertain him that much longer."
Pros: "Flight left on time and arrived early, the staff was warm and friendly, and it was an easy flight."
Pros: "Enjoyed big leather seats in older planes. More comfortable."
Cons: "Cramped seats"
Pros: "Friendly and helpful crew."
Cons: "Seats were a bit uncomfortable and was a bit cramped."
Cons: "A flight was scheduled at the same time from Seattle to both Burbank and Lax. I made a dumb error but would have appreciated some accommodation instead of being charged a $125 change fee."
Cons: "When we got to the gate 3 hours early, we ordered a wheel chair for my wine to board the plane as soon as the first gate personnel arrived. At boarding time the clueless person who brought the wheel chair for us gave it to a 20 something man with a foot in a cast and crutches while my 71 year old wife had to wait until another wheelchair could be brought. The irony is that two wheelchairs were there until just. Edited boarding time and both were taken away."
Cons: "The check in attendant wouldn't allow us to check our wine so we had to rent a car and drive down to Los Angeles"
Pros: "Comfortable seats, lovely flight attendant, nice snack which thankfully were not dried pretzels"
Cons: "No hot water for tea"
Pros: "I always fly with Alaska Airlines when I need to go to LA. Fantastic flight attendants and good services."
Cons: "But on my last flight with them, it was delayed for more than an hour and a half, which was longer than the time I flew back to SJC from Burbank. That mixed up my schedule for the whole day."
Pros: "Easy Flight and Friendly Staff"
Pros: "Took off on time. landed early, free wi-fi. What more could I want?"
Pros: "Complimentary wine was an unusual treat."
Cons: "An hour delay while a replacement first officer was brought in. Considering the circumstances, Alaska Airlines probably did well to keep the delay minimized."
Pros: "Attendants were wonderful. Good personality, sense of humor."
Cons: "Seats pretty cramped , two seats side by sided. Not much room"
Pros: "The staff were great and helpful."
Cons: "I am a small woman but your seats are getting smaller and leg room is less. This leads me to believe that the "people" actually running this airline have little interest for those of us who have to travel in coach? Making money is the most important thing to these people who will always travel in private jets or first class. Congratulations to all. You are winning. Joanne Lewis email@example.com 206-550-0748"
Pros: "I liked the cheese platter."
Cons: "Unable to connect to the internet. Flight was delayed. No legroom."
Cons: "Crew was trying to be funny but it fell a little flat. Seats were small and cramped, no place for luggage overhead. Poor selection of beverages."
Cons: "Nothing. Everything is superb from the boarding to getting inside the plane. Ground crew staff is amazing"
Cons: "I only put an okay for boarding due to an extra 20 minute late, but that really wasn't bad."
Cons: "Flight delayed 2 hrs, was then arriving in the middle of the night. Very cold air on during flight and bright cabin lights on most of flight."
Pros: "Friendly personnel, seating not so cramped"
Pros: "all was great"
Pros: "Comfort, space"
Cons: "Delayed flight, which would have been okay, except the staff made it sound like we would still land on time and we didn't. I would rather the message be consistent rather than confuse passengers about landing time."
Pros: "I was impressed by the flight crew's professional manner of interacting with passengers. They were great!"
Cons: "Waiting for take-off, in a long line of planes at Seatac, exhaust from planes was very strong in our passenger cabin."
Pros: "Flights were on time"
Cons: "It was a long trip!!"
Pros: "Crew was helpful and friendly."
Pros: "Short flight so no Entertainment"
Pros: "When everything was said and done, and most other people on the flight were given free passage to SFO by Airporter bus and then put onto a flight into LAX and then arrange transportation to Orange County (which I had every reason to think was a nightmare for those trying to get to Orange County from LAX due to unclaimed packages (security uproar) and major traffic around LAX and would not work for my disabled family to drive 1.5 hours to pick me up) I paid for a bus to SFO myself and booked a flight from there to Santa Ana (John Wayne) on Southwest. I eventually arrived there around 730 PM. Alaska refunded my flight southbound and still offered me $400 credit which was nice of them. That being said, the propeller planes are really noisy so don't expect a comfortable experience. But its worth it for the convenience to travel from Santa Rosa, CA (Sonoma County Airport) to Santa Ana (John Wayne Airport) provided they don't cancel your flight. Alaska will be adding more flights on this same route by summer and they deserve some credit for that, but at the end of the day, it was my own resourcefulness that saved the day, and got me to my family December 22nd. I would have had to wait until December 24th through Alaska Airlines for the same flight, and that is when my family celebrates Christmas, so that was NOT a very appealing option."
"Crew was nice and accommodating, but someone failed to inspect the plane before the passengers got on and we ended up deplaning and changing planes when this could have been avoided."
"Red eye from LAX. The most uncomfortable First Class seats I have ever experienced. No blankets or pillows. One bag of chip-like objects and two beverages for the entire flight. It felt very stingy."
"This American Airlines strike is wack. Our flight was delayed 2 hours because the flight crew didn’t show up. Extremely disappointing."
Cons: "I arrived on time to make my flight yet was denied the opportunity to board. Resulting in me being unable to do my lecture for UCLA and being late to my aunt’s wedding."
Cons: "My flight from LAS to LAX was excellent, it was a larger plane , full and was able to stretch out. I would love to fly American Airlines more but flight times for my destinations are not always the best."
Pros: "I like that I paid for a first class seat with no first class service."
Cons: "Suspended food is a rip off, I flew this same leg a month and a half ago got food, what changed, NOTHING...I have flown AA for 20plus years. I never got credit for that flight either. I am aware safety first but what does it really have to do with QUALITY of the Airline. Still love yah tho."
Pros: "That we got there on time. And landed safely."
Cons: "Honestly I have no complaints but they could at least serve something for a 6 hour flight"
Cons: "Full flight"
Cons: "Several people got on the flight with no face mask on. The flight was completely packed, there was no distancing at all. The boarding process required me to walk past everyone as my chair was in the back and I was last group to board (unlike other airlines that have switched to back to front boarding to reduce people coming in contact with each other) As I walked down the PACKED plane mot people had masks on incorrectly (hanging off one ear, down around their chin, nose out, etc.) some people had no mask at all and the flight attendants did nothing. It seems like they were doing nothing to keep passengers safe from COVID-19 spread. Compared to Delta, American Airlines was terrifying to fly, I find not feel safe at all."
Cons: "Sat cheek to jowels in middle seat. Seems like a train wreck about to happen with Covid"
Cons: "No food"
Pros: "I am no longer comfortable with airline seats, bad nerve in back of leg."
Cons: "Poor communication about “Red-tagging” carry on luggage"
Pros: "Great crew, clean plane."
Cons: "Wish we had beverage service back soon."
Pros: "Cause me to miss my connecting flight from Dallas to Mobile"
Cons: "Had the aircraft fueled before boarding the flight"
Cons: "There was no entertainment in first class for a cross country flight"
Pros: "Great Crew on the Second Leg from DFW to SPI"
Pros: "The flight crew and the captain were terrific."
Cons: "Gate agents were rude. Everybody was forced to check-in their carry on luggage due to the small plane. This information should have been shared before boarding. We were informed as we were boarding and had to scramble to remove the laptop from our carry-on and help up passengers behind us from boarding. A totally unnecessary stressful situation created by the gate agents for failing to share information. Once we got onboard we saw carry-ons larger then what we were forced to check-in. Evidently, enforcement of standards is at the gate agents' discretion."
Pros: "The connecting BA flight from Houston to LHR was an old 747 and my broken window blind didn’t go down. The worst part was I paid for a bulkhead seat and once we got on the plane it turned out the configuration was different and the seat was not bulkhead."
Cons: "Accurate configuration. A more modern plane."
Pros: "Very attentive crew"
Cons: "Boarding gates"
Pros: "Good entertainment, seats were ok."
Cons: "I paid for a seat with extra leg room and then was told at the gate that there were none of those seats left, despite the fact that I booked and paid for that seat 3 weeks ago!"
Pros: "The staff was fantastic"
Cons: "Well my flight got delayed four separate times. I was stuck in LAX for 3 hours. So much that booked another flight with another airline for the following morning. I had to book a hotel nearby LAX just so I could somewhere to sleep for the night. My luggage made it to Chicago safely, but I didn’t at least not with American Airlines. It took them an hour to tell us that they reassigned the pilot to another flight, not only that when it was delayed the first initial time (40 minute delay) about ten minutes before we were supposed to board they tell us that the flight attendant crew is going to take 30 minutes to get to the gate. Not only but those poor airline service staff were completely unaware of all these changes! They had to find out from the passengers what was going on. Honestly I will never fly with American Airlines ever again!!!"
Pros: "I took two connecting flights on American Airlines between Los Angeles and Lisbon period on the website American claims to have charging and or electrical ports in every row. There were none on either flight. To make matters worse, when my tablet and phone batteries both died before the end of the first flight, there was no inflight entertainment, other than 1 ridiculous thing available, on either flight. American has switched to BYOD for entertainment, but forgot to provide a way to charge our own devices. Incredibly stupid."
Cons: "On top of that, one of the flight attendants on the Philadelphia to Lisbon run was a hella snarky guy with a bad attitude all the way through. I would be surprised if I am the first person to complain about him."
Pros: "Awfully rude flight attendants Took multiple buses I guess American doesn’t pay good money to the airports"
Cons: "I would have liked more Rosé."
Pros: "eh, mediocre but usual service from a US airline. Just enough to get you from point A to B, but you’re exhausted once there."
Cons: "too little leg room, and quite uncomfortable seats, couldn’t relax and was cramping from being unable to move more than an inch."
Cons: "Flight was delayed due to poor maintenance that caused issues before take off. Of course safety is important but that is why maintenance should be done routinely and prioritised accordingly. The pilot on the first delayed flight (new airplane) was clueless, his exact words "... our analysis team from midwest needs an hour to figure out whether we can fly or not" This is after we have boarded the flight. Then after about an hour of sitting in the plane, he says "rumor has it that a new plane will be towed in..." What? Why didn't they stop boarding and just get the new plane in. And I don't appreciate the emails saying flight is delayed without giving any reason for it. AA could have certainly done a better job of communicating the issue. Further the flight crew including the pilot were acting like victims. If it were an Asian carrier like Singapore Airlines, the crew would be smiling and providing assitance courteously since they represent the airlines. Not flying them again."
Pros: "upgraded to business, which made for a nice ride home."
Cons: "seat and monitor seemed to have minds of their own, but only caused a minor inconvenience I'm frustrated with AA's information on movies, which is questionable and unrealable. For example, the recently released film 'Coco' was listed as PG-13 and not included in the "Disney" category. "Justice League" was listed as R. There are several other examples of misinformation in their movie listings. For parents who use the ratings as one piece of information to guide their children, it would be nice to have correct information when making selections. this problem is not new; it's been this way for over a year now. I hoped that over time they would get it right, but alas, it remains inconsistent at best."
Pros: "I got there safely."
Cons: "I will never fly American Airlines again. From the moment I checked in with the ticket agent to getting off the plane it was a disaster. The ticket agent was rude, hostile, and dismissive. Employees walked through the line at security forcing everyone to consolidate their belongings to one bag. I had a large wallet in my hand and was told I had to step out of line to put it in my backpack. They only allow you one bag to carry on without paying extra. At the time of boarding they announced that the overhead storage was full so even those that paid extra were still forced to check their bags. The plane was dirty, the service was slow, overall just gross. They don’t have WiFi or in flight entertainment so I paid the $20 to purchase the WiFi. It was worthless. I couldn’t stream anything, even music kept stopping to buffer. I understand it will be slower then on ground WiFi, but it was impossible to watch anything and a complete waste of money."
Cons: "American Airlines won't let you buy emergency row exit seats (or bulk head) because the 'code share' prevents them from advance seat sales. I was told I could do it at check in in Los Angeles. But those seats were sold out long before we even got to LA! I contacted American Airlines Customer Relations about 1 month prior to my flight. I completed their online form detailing the problem and asked if there is any way I could buy extra leg room seats. But they never even bothered to respond. I got the automated email acknowledging receipt of my complaint and assuring me I would be contacted soon. NOT!!"
Cons: "AA gate crew checked my bag at the gate, but to the wrong person!! I missed my flight because I had to go find it in baggage claim, take a taxi to another terminal, hoof it across the terminal to TSA pre-check which was 45 people deep and slow as a snail, then run to the gate (which was at the ooooother end I originally entered through). I missed my flight literally by 3 minutes. There was no one at the gate to help me, AA staff kept telling me to go to different places, getting a new flight was INSANE. The whole experience was a pure nightmare."
Pros: "Price, new plane, interactive system"
Pros: "British Airway, as their partner, made everything perfect."
Cons: "Iberia never picks up the phone. American Airlines always says 'No' first, & sticks with their 'No' for about an hour before being willing to think of work 'round solutions. AA online check-in didn't work, There's always a 45+ minute wait by phone to get AA to answer.. Then the customer service line of Airlines @ LAX had 70+ people needing help, but only one person working. So it was an hour long wait, only to be told 'No' you can't fly. Yet once I walked over to British Airways, they found a way to get me to my destination. Airlines just does not have enough employees and doesn't care."
Pros: "Boarding was quick and easy, no problems or hassles. Seat reclined and was reasonably comfortable. Left early, arrived even earlier."
Cons: "Crew was more robotic than human, which is bexoming a trend on AA. No smiles, no acknowledgment, just doing the job of handing out food and picking up trash. No personal touch whatsoever. Food was subpar for an AA flight, especially international. Entertainment system has many defects and problems, for example "search" is useless. Uninspiring and forgettable film choices as well. The knob to control air flow was broken which made it chilly. To finish as I started, a more engaged and pleasant crew could have made all the other things more palpable and acceptable. They were just too cold, like the temperature in the cabin and distant."
Pros: "Flight crew was excellent."
Cons: "We booked flights through British Airways but flew American Airlines. The check in process was a stressful mess: we were forced to stand in long customer service lines both on our first flight from LAX to Chicago and again during our very short layover in Chicago to Dublin to ensure that our bags were checked all the way to our final destination. Very stressful, and it didn't help that the gate crew was extremely rude and unprofessional. It is very inconvenient that we could not choose our seats beforehand."
Pros: "Why would a jet this size wobble all the way across the Atlantic! The pretzels were even stale, and they served a "pizza" that was a stale mini loaf with sauce and a little mozzarella. People were starving when breakfast was served. The thermostat fluctuated from horribly hot to freeing - for 14 hrs. The crew slammed things down on table trays, grumped, were giving harsh orders to patrons rather than gently directing them. These ladies do not enjoy their job. I am done with Delta. We were also an hour late taking off due to a door on a cargo hold not closing. I was embarrassed that our Aussie friends experienced this as their first American flight."
Cons: "Food, attitude of flight attendants, comfort of cabin. Pilot took charge of thermostat issue and kept us informed in a friendly manner regarding the status of our take off and flight progress."
Cons: "Couldn't check in on line. Flight was delayed. Boarding was hectic and disorganized. Everybody ran for the gate. Crew was prompt and not friendly. Upon arriving they announced that they did not have the Hawai'i agricultural forms, so we would have to wait until the "agent" cam on the plane with the forms, fill out the forms, and then disembark. The crew was not organized, so it took about 10-15 minutes to get off after we arrived in the gate (late) because they could not get people sit down and fill out the forms. Chaotic. I plan NOT to fly American again. Ever."
Cons: "People still using mobiles as we were taking off. Crew seemed not too bothered."
Pros: "The "very" new 777-200 was very comfortable, well-laid out. I usually skip or leave half of the in-flight food served, but this rates as one of the best meals, I've had in an airplane outside of business class. The in-flight entertainment/information service was decent, but perhaps because the plane was still in new condition."
Cons: "On this entire business trip, I booked with other companies, but ended up 5 flights operated by American Airlines. One cancellation, 4 delayed, 3 late arrivals. The last one was the most annoying. I will be avoiding AA in the future. The domestic crews are generally brusque and miserable. The international flight crews were more accommodating and pleasant, but most of them also seemed annoyed at passenger presence. Also, having to pay for a preferred seat on a half-empty airplane is simply unfair. By 24hrs before the flight, AA must have known there were plenty of empty seats."
Pros: "Boarding was a mess - there were no announcements about boarding and the gate agent did nothing to promote order in the gate area. Thank goodness for the new planes on this route - the old planes with the blue "leather" seats were so overdue to be retired. Onboard entertainment was great and every seat had a USB port and AC outlet. Smoothest landing ever, I couldn't even tell when the wheels hit the pavement! It was also the first time I recall a female captain on American - maybe the smooth landing wasn't such a coincidence :)"
Pros: "New plane with leather like seats and good entertainment system."
Cons: "no entertainment! Nothing. On the flight from Mex City to LAX the bathroom facilities were so limited that some Economy class passengers had to try to use the business class or first class facilities' An FA then came on the intercom and said Economy class must only use their own facilities and this is according to an FAA regulation. THat is a straight out lie. If you eliminate bathrooms from Economy class to squeeze in more seats this problem will persist. American Airlines should be ashamed of itself."
Cons: "They lost 1 of 4 bags."
Pros: "The airline was excellent, I am over being cramped in these planes for long flights. Unfortunately living in Australia makes us have to do the long flights."
Cons: "When you are travelling on long flights travelling all night, people in front have seat reclined right back and it is so hard to get out when you need to go to toilet."
Pros: "Upgraded from Business to First on a transcend A321. Seats amazing, hard product is just superb on these planes. Crew good but a bit animatronic as always with AA."
Cons: "I could not change the flight with less payment so I missed the flight and booked another one."
Cons: "It cost me $86 dollars to supposedly upgrade my seat to an exit row with tons of leg room. Granted there was plenty of leg room but the seat was extra narrow to give room for an emergency exit if necessary. I'm not huge but I barely fit in the seat. It was an uncomfortable squeeze which of course got worse as the flight continued. I complained to an attendant that the seat was too small and he had no remedy. If I was a few pounds heavier it would have been impossible. You'd think they would warn a customer of the narrower seat. It's so obvious that it's all about profit for the airlines which sickens me."
Cons: "ORD -> LAX We sat on the Tarmac for 45 mins without any communication. We ended up landing on time, but I was connecting to an international flight, so this naturally caused me and my companion a great deal of unnecessary stress. LAX -> ORD I arrived at the gate prior to the 10 minute before take off deadline and the gate attendant said I couldn't board and walked away. I sat and waited several minutes until a gate attendant returned where they proceeded to call stand by passengers. I was checked in and present, but not allowed to board. So I approached a different attendant, explained and he looked surprised that I wasn't boarded. He then without asking me any questions or checking with me typed on his computer and then handed me a new boarding pass for a new flight 1:25 later. I boarded that plane and sat for over an hour. The pilot had no updates for us other than the delay was a maintenance issue, saying repeatedly that he would check again in 15 mins. Finally after wasting more time we had to deplane and wait for a new one. Ultimately I was not allowed to board my original flight without explanation, which then caused me to have over 3:30 in delays. This is all after I had arrived from an international destination, which made the ordeal very miserable. This type of awful experience is a pattern with American Air - rarely are my flights on time and I've had more cancellations with American than any competitor airline. Anything but A full refund would not be acceptable. Thank you, Randi"
"The stewards didn’t tell me that hot food was unavailable when I asked - that it was coming “later”. I missed the chance to buy snacks that were available. The flight was packed - felt like cattle."
Pros: "Very comfortable. Crew was excellent"
Cons: "Doggie relief area was absolutely gross. I saw atleast 3 other people who refused to also use it."
Cons: "Airlines are definitely putting profits above passenger safety!! How could they fully book a plane during the COVID pandemic?? Shame on you!!"
Cons: "Have the middle seats vacant. Doesn’t make sense to hound people about social distancing and masks and then have a full plane."
Pros: "Good crew, great landing, short flight"
Cons: "The seats are crampy"
Cons: "United's hidden fees"
Pros: "Seat was terrible. Crew excellent"
Cons: "Don't overbook flight. No inflight media service, no free wifi - These should come with ticket price"
Pros: "Crew was fine"
Cons: "I quit flying United years ago because of their poor management including delays and poor custimer service. I was stuck with United for these flights as my options were limited. Flight delayed, no surprise I guess. And now waiting for flight home that is delayed so I will miss my connecting flight."
Cons: "Awful flight attendants. They all hate their jobs."
Cons: "Middle seat but not that bad in the end. Nice people on both sides. Still i booked 7 months out and wasn’t able to get a window or aisle."
Pros: "Quick and easy flight- not much to say, which is always good news while flying."
Cons: "Small seats."
Cons: "No entertainment for a 6 hour flight. Only served pretzels for food. Most of the crew was fine but one flight attendant was very rude, pushy, and condescending. Literally pushing me out of the way as I’m trying to board, yelling across the plane, rude comments over the speaker... honestly surprised such a large airline would tolerate this."
Pros: "The prevoarding was fine!"
Cons: "I was sat next to two verge large people that smelled and farted before pushback. One finally got up and left to sit somewhere else. The flight to SFO was fine until landing when they missed the landing and took an extra hour and 15 minutes to get to the gate. Passengers were scared for their lives! I was terrified at one point due to the lack of knowledge shared with the cabin!"
Pros: "I liked that it was a short flight and that the over-head bins were big enough for my backpack."
Cons: "I didn't like that my friends, who bought their tickets at the same time I did, with their own cards and checked in at the same time as me, didn't get a seat number. I had one assigned when my ticket printed out, after I checked in at the airport after they did. They had to wait until boarding was almost complete before they were afforded a seat. Seemed really strange. With United already having a bad name from recent stories on the news, it made us worry. Don't like worrying when it has anything to do with an airplane."
Pros: "New 737 800 with Wi-Fi and free movie off of the United airlines app."
Pros: "Orderly on time"
Pros: "Comfortable as fell asleep before tak3 off and woke up when landing announced."
Pros: "The agent in San Francisco was awesome and even went out of her way to bump me to a better seat. Leaving Portland was easy, crew were super organized!"
Cons: "No entertainment systems were working at all. Leaving San Francisco to kahului we had so many unruly young adults that were just out if control. They kept switching seats, spilling alcohol all over me and my stuff and the flight crew could not care less. We even had an older Asian flight attendant on flight 1749 that was just overwhelmed for the job. She would hand the person on the isle a handful of pretzels and say 'here, pass these out'. The other flight crew members made it worse by treating her poorly. You could tell they didn't like her and were agitated by her. Instead if being polite and educating, they were exasperated and impatient. Overall was super disappointed. I have flown United so many times back home to Maui and was always so please and excited to brag about how great United was. Not this time. Thanks for reading."
Pros: "The crew was competent and the flight was easy."
Cons: "I wish they'd waited until everyone got on board to announce that we would need the United app to watch movies during. E flight. They did the announcement too early and about a third of the plane missed it."
Pros: "It was an ok flight i guess but there was no good free in flight entertainment."
Cons: "Many things. Starting from the online/mobile check in process via United airlines. I was not given any other option but to check in through the United website. On that website I was not allowed to check in for my Lufthansa flights and i was stuck with seats I did not want in my 2 long intercontinental flights. This has happened before. Lufthansa has no option to check in online if my first flight leg is united. This is a very big drawback and also the reason I would not prefer to fly Lufthansa again. United is bringing the quality down."
Pros: "Friendliness of staff"
Cons: "I booked the flights for both my sister and I and we were never put in seats next to each other"
Pros: "Good service."
Cons: "The website is pretty bad, not user friendly. Took several times for things to take, and was a frustrating experience. Luftansa's website. Not United."
Pros: "The crew in air Canada is awesome! They were really great and friendly. I'm impressed with their impeccable service even if it was a short flight to Vancouver."
Cons: "Flight was delayed."
Cons: "Plane departed 2 hrs late, taxied 40 min in San Fransisco for lack of access to gate"
Pros: "PenAir computer systems were down in Denver, so flight was about 30 minutes late. Crew was good tho."
Pros: "the price of the flight was the best part of the deal"
Cons: "have to pay for movies, and no good selection of snacks on flight."
Cons: "Terrible uncaring old waitresses overweight, no room for luggage no room for even walk in the plane, kept asking to turn off devices when it is well known devices don't cause any problem. No free internet. Old tired planes, terrible third world airline."
Pros: "Got everything we needed."
Cons: "No complaints."
Pros: "Didn't crash"
Cons: "Get my to my destination on time. I missed my connection and will be 5 hours late to my destination, missing most of Father's Day"
Pros: "At least it wasn't the next day?"
Cons: "I booked A flight from in Oregon to Tucson Arizona but the layover in San Francisco . The flight from Oregon to California was delayed by an hour and a half which caused me to misconnect. United didn't offer me anything, not even a sorry. Terrible service."
Cons: "United changed my 10 am reservation to 6:40 which meant, in addition to getting up at 4 am, missing a great free breakfast at my hotel, that I had to spend $55 on a cab rather than take public transportation to the airport. Further more, the 4+ hour layover at Newark (horrible terminal) led to 6+ hours. Arrived home at the end of an 18 hour day barely functioning."
Pros: "Liked that we landed safely and I was treated like a human being not just a seat but the accommodation s were a little under what I expected"
Pros: "I don't like it"
Cons: "It was the worst flight I ever had in my life, first of all our flight from phenx( arezoina) to New York beget canceled and the company put us in a very bad hot for one night, then they changed our plane to Philadelphia which our flight from there to newhampshire got had be late for more than 3 hours. You are the worst company in this world."
Pros: "We flew 440 miles an hour on the way back just because the flight was delayed a little bit. Now that is Customer Service."
Cons: "I wish I got more food on the plane. Food isn't expensive but flights are."
Pros: "Flight left and arrived on time"
Cons: "Was assigned a middle seat. Tried to change it, but was not willing to pay $75 to do so."
Cons: "Landed 15 minutes early, waited for the gate open , then ended up 10 minutes late in a different gate further away from my next gate that we had a short connect time to . It's obvious that United spends all its money on frequent fliers so the rest of us are left to fend for ourselves ."
Pros: "The crew was great, boarding was easy and the pilot who spoke was really nice."
Cons: "I would love the ability to plug headphones in and listen to music."
Pros: "Comfortable seats with plenty legroom."
Cons: "No complaints!"
Cons: "First when seated there was no room for even my purse in the overhead storage. I had to hold everything in my lap. My ticket seats were separated when I was sure I booked the seats together. The blanket given to my seat was in package but was used and very vile smelling. The flight attendant was very rude, had an attitude when I asked for a drink after I wasn't offered one. When landing and I was asleep, flight attendant hit my head to wake me up to adjust my seat to the correct position rather then in a polite way. Also luggage was not with the rest of the planes luggage and on a differnt carousel. I travel often and are use to glitches, but when cleanliness and attitude come into the picture those are things that can be controlled. I wish to no longer travel with United again."
Pros: "The agent handling boarding was very helpful and friendly. The pilot did a great job getting us to SFO safely and smoothly."
Cons: "I was disapponted there was no back-of-the-seat screen for in-flight entertainment."
Pros: "Nothing, please..."
Cons: "I had a connection flight to San Francisco and then from there to Honolulu and the flight from Portland to SF got delayed 5 times to up to 4 hours late so I would've missed my second flight from SF to HNL. They couldn't do anything about it so they put me on the next available flight, the next MORNING. So I had to go spend a night in a hotel which I had to pay for and wait for the next flight in the morning the next day. Next day the flight got delayed yet again this time little over 2 hours. So I would've missed the flight from San Francisco do Honolulu yet again. This time they managed to find a little later flight and put me on that but still had to wait at the airports for over 8 hours. Super mad about how United works... Had problems with my boss as well because I was supposed to work the next day but they rescheduled my flight for that day. Really not a pleasant experience..."
Pros: "The boarding was good and the flight went well."
Cons: "The under seat power was difficult to find. More illumination around the outlets or a diagram showing where it is would be helpful as there is no room to look down and it's awkward to blindly pat around looking for a place to charge your phone."
Pros: "Crew was pleasant."
Cons: "We were asked to pay attention to the safety demonstration, yet I could not see it because the flight attendant was standing so far ahead up the aisle that even if I leaned out, I could not see her. I also don't understand why United boards from front to rear. It's illogical and time consuming."
Cons: "The seats are so narrow in coach that the man with broad shoulders that sat next to me could not help being in my seat. I needed to be able to sleep, since it was an overnight flight. This was not possible."
Cons: "Seat extremely small and virtually no leg room (I am an average size person). Basically disrespects customers. Yuck."
Pros: "The flight was late, overbooked, and there was a weight problem that caused further delays."
Cons: "Delays, comfort, and rudeness of the flight attendant. It was just a horrible experience all around!"
Pros: "Plenty of personal space. this first leg was actually quite pleasant I would give this leg a 4.5"
Cons: "The spicy snack was awful, I needed water, it took a while to get to me."
Pros: "Very unhappy employees. I work at Nordstrom so maybe my expectations are a bit high when it comes to customer service, but if I owned united airlines I would be ashamed of the way United employees treat people. I paid an extra 300 than I had to to get to Hartford Connecticut at the time I chose when purchasing the ticket. Every plane was delayed. EVERY FLIGHT by at least an hour. I missed my connections and was rebooked twice. the average joe customer service lines were ridiculous with the separate priority line having first dibs. The first customer service man I met with was helpful and kind. With the exception of that man and one flight attendant on my trip back to Portland, every employee was indifferent, condescending and in some cases, actually mean. I say that seriously! (I can't believe it either). I am not a difficult person to get along with and I never showed upset despite the many mishaps I encountered on this trip. Customer service is so important and could have made up for the obvious poor planning and lack of communication by which united airlines functions. Unfortunately, I would rather fly any other airline if given the choice after this trip. Even spirit (and let me tell you, I've only flown spirit once and there is a good reason for that). So disappointing. I am upset over my experience and again, will avoid this airline at all costs in the future whenever possible."
