Pros: "Arriving in Seattle my bag was waiting for me at the claim area. After 45+ years of flying around the world that was a first. But something happened before we took off. The gentleman in the seat in front of me had packed some oxygen bottles in his bags and a handler came onboard to address this. He was polite and very understanding that the man was meeting a cruise ship in Seattle and needed them as life support. The handler took an address from him and said he would take the bottles to Fedex near the airport and sent them to him. And the passenger could send him the money later! I thin k the handler's name was Bob. He needs a commendation foe going the extra mile for a passenger! Find him and buy him dinner."

I had already been awake for 20 hrs traveling and that seat was so loud i couldn't sleep. it was also FREEZING and i was trying my best to wrap up in my scarf but I was surprised the flight attendant didn't offer a blanket. Why was it so cold??!?! My other flights were if anything warm but that flight was miserable."

Cons: "I was really excited about flying with your airline, as I have been told by many how awesome it is. However, I was on a red eye flight, and though excited to fly with you, knew I would be needing some sleep for this particular trip. I selected my seats online and boarded the plane. Shortly after takeoff I went to lean back for a restful sleep, however, the seats didn't recline at all. There was no mention on the site of this when selecting the seats. This is kind of important to some people. I'm disappointed in my flight, and the experience I had with this. I probably will not fly Alaskan airlines again."
Pros: "The crew was great, the plane clean. Took off on time, landed on time. leg room was decent. Seat profile is thinner with a hard foam, not uncomfortable but different, this is what improved the leg room."
Cons: "This was a redeye with 180 or so other people. The guy in front of me had his seat back all flight even when the crew said raise the seat backs for takeoff and landing. Seats were difficult to sleep in, head rest while adjustable is thin and gave no real head support, at the end of the flight my neck felt like it had whiplash. No food, on a 5+ hour flight, it was overnight, but the seat head rests made sleeping difficult."

Cons: "To be clear, I do not have an issue with overweight people. That being said, I was put in an extremely uncomforatable position on this flight. My seatmate was a woman who easily weighed 400 pounds without the slightest exageration and was 5'7 at best. She carried all of her weight in her midsection and behind, which was truly uncomforatable for us both. As she attempted to squeeze into the aisle seat it became apparent that with the armrest down it was not going to happen. She raised the armrest and finally maneuvered into her seat and part of mine also. Not only was her bottom in my seat but her stomach was resting on my entire right leg. It felt like a toddler was sitting on my lap. This was beyond uncomfortable and embarrassing for us both as it was clear that she knew how intrusive this was and kept apologizing. My leg went to sleep after about 15 minutes so I asked to be let out. I approached the flight attendent and requested that my seat be changed to which she responded that the flight was full. I know it wasn't because I could see an empty seat about four rows in front of me. Finally I sat back down but every 15 minutes or so she would get uncomforatable and get up to stretch. The first time it was a welcomed break, until she came back and flopped in her seat with so much force that it felt like someone had ran and jumped in my lap. This occurred 4 or 5 times during the flight. I am not sure what the policy is for obese passengers, but it should be relooked. As a passenger I should not be put in a position to address another passengers weight. I also should not have to pay for a seat and only get to use 2/3 of it. Lastly, no one should ever be allowed to put their body parts on top of another persons lap and that be considered ok."

Bathrooms onboard were a pigstie."

She had about half of the First Class cabin offended as soon as meals started getting served - I didn't see ANYONE around me that got what they asked for, and then when people stated the issue, she didn't respond very well. I tried to take things in stride (first world problems?) but it is a bummer to pay extra for the first class treatment and then to not have that great experience, especially on back to back 5ish hour flights."

The airline crew failed to update all passengers so most of us were just aimlessly pacing around the gate. The team was very disengaging, not sincere, and not professional. This was definitely a -1 customer experience as many customers complained, missed connecting flights, or like myself - had to call my office at an ungodly hour and explain that i’d be missing work"

We were abandoned at a closed airport for hours. Eventually, I got the one and only uber still running in waco to drive me at 330am from waco to dallas. There has been no reinbursement of fares or compensation for lost wages, time and the general annoyance that being awake all night long caused. I've had nothing but 10/10 experiences with Sun Country!"

Several of the Flight Attendants seemed like they were "working their job" but were not happy about it, and their manners seemed to reflect this. The line to get your boarding pass was long and slow. It took so long many passengers had to be escorted to the wheelchair TSA security check point in order to still make the flight . I still wouldn't have made the flight if some very kinds people didn't allow me and 10 other SunCountry passengers to cut in front of them SunCountry does not have TVs but rather rents out for eight dollars portable entertainment systems. It was great to kill time for my flt to Minneapolis . However when I wanted to rent one on the return flight, I was told that they had given them all to the first class passengers. Knowing they don't stock enough for us common folk I would have brought a magazine or book to read. It was the longest most boring, arduous flight I have taken. I guess I'm accustomed to all the amenities and conveniences of JetBlue"
Cons: "I am 5'6" 130lbs and feel like a Great Ape trying to squeeze myself into the seats and walking down the aisles. And when the person in the row in front of me puts their seat back I have my tray smashed into my rib cage. Also, the airlines, not just Suncountry MUST do something about this carry on policy! With everyone trying to believe they can stuff their "carry on" into the overheads is causing delays and headaches for those of us who realize it's best for all to check one's bags."

I have priformis syndrome so I can't sit for too long, and I got up to stretch half way through the flight and didn't encounter any problems so that was good. Cons: "Crew was rude. I fell asleep and didn't realize my seat was tilted back at all. Instead of nicely asking, or saying please, or the way I've always been addressed at any other airline the flight attendant grabbed the seat near my head, jerked it up, and said "you need to be upright for landing". Similarly when a young woman got up to use the restroom instead of saying please or politely directing her back to her seat the same flight attendant said "you need to be in your seat right now." The orange juice also tasted weird. The captain never introduced himself, never said how long the flight would be, or any of the standard stuff when taking off either. Just the spiel at the end as we were preparing to land. Also very surprised that there are no free snacks and no free entertainment for travel across the country."

Food was subpar for an AA flight, especially international. Entertainment system has many defects and problems, for example "search" is useless. Uninspiring and forgettable film choices as well. The knob to control air flow was broken which made it chilly. To finish as I started, a more engaged and pleasant crew could have made all the other things more palpable and acceptable. They were just too cold, like the temperature in the cabin and distant."

My wife, 2 year old son, and I was boarding at the gate and they couldn't scan my son's boarding pass. They quickly went over to the computer station and gave my son another pass. We went to our seats and found out someone else is in our 2year old seat. Apparently they gave the seat to someone else at the last second because up to the point when I printed our boarding passes at the kiosk, our seats were still together (and I paid $41/per seat extra to try to keep us together). The other customer was nice enough to switch with our son so were able to stay together at the last min so it goes to show AA priority and service."

Very stressful, and it didn't help that the gate crew was extremely rude and unprofessional. It is very inconvenient that we could not choose our seats beforehand."

NO BACKUP CAPTAINS or 1st OFFICERS AT LAX? Then miraculously during our 3rd hour waiting for a Captain they discovered the 1st Officer was going to time out. So, rather than KNOW this while searching for a Captain, they waited for 3 hours and then had to find a 1st Officer to fill in. Result 2.5 more hours of delay. Even the Flight crew was in disbelief on this one. I think we should all get reimbursed and triple miles for this snafu. Not weather or mechanical - just poorly managed time -- BY A MAJOR AIRLINE - INEXCUSABLE!"

Cons: "Fight was operated by American. Alaska forced to wait in line and see assistance, then inform that because the flight is operated by American, they won't be able to check me in. Had to walk to a different terminal of LAX wait in 2 more lines and by the time they were able to assist it was too late to check in. Missed the flight, have to rebook a 3 hour later departure, move the meeting and take a flight back 4 hours later that has a layover and adds about 2.5 hours more on the return leg. Not to mention having to pay for the new seat."

When we got to the gate he announced the crew had timed out and that we should take our things and get down to wait for more information. Once at the gate we were told they were trying to put a new crew together for us, including the pilot. While we waited they did provide good quality deli food for us. I appreciate the food but the 5 hour delay, I did not appreciate."

I don't know his name, but he's most likely one of American Airline's most senior stewards. His grey hair did not stop him from being one of the most positive and funny people to lighten up a flight.
