Love the Redmond/Bend terminal! And the terminal staff and flight crew were welcoming.

Pros: "I sat between two people who were lovely to talk with, but were much larger than me and i felt squished in between them. I felt pretty claustrophobic. Note to self, to choose window or isle."

While it was cold outside, the plane was miserable. i realize that planes are consistently delayed/held due to runway construction in Seattle...and that's nothing Alaska can change. But boarding early and then forcing us to swelter?"

Cons: "I did not like that the airline allowed more than 1-2 people to accompany 1 small child when pre-boarding. I happened to be able to go in with the general boarding but was one of those who was first in line within this group. My seat which was 5C already had no overheard room!!! It appears that 1 child was accompanied by 4 adults when they pre-boarded and in addition to their carry-ons, they put their foldable stroller, backpacks and totes in the overhead bin!! The airline announced a request for people to leave the overhead bin spaces for bigger carryons but does not enforce it. Flight attendants should not feel uncomfortable actually asking to whom the backpack or tote belong to and tell passengers to put those under their seats. Somehow, passengers need to be educated on proper etiquette. Also, pre-boarding should only allow 1-2 people to accompany a child or an elderly person. Pre-boarding should not be taken advantage of by all adults traveling with those needing it."

Cons: "Delays Alaska claimed no responsibility for meant my connecting flight landed two hours later than scheduled. Because it "wasn't [their] fault" I was given the option to stay 24 hours in city I never asked for, to "try again", without my baggage, the next day. No mention of compensation, no attempt to work with another carrier to find a flight because, as they claimed their flight being late to connect to their other flight is not their fault."
Pros: "We love Alaska Airlines! Smooth flights! Perfect snack selection of all natural gummy bears, almonds, and fig bar for premium class, and love the in flight entertainment. Good job guys!"
Pros: "The seats and stowage were expected in comparison to a 737-800. Boarding time was fairly quick and organized."
Cons: "Boarding announcement was localized using a small portable microphone/speaker combo. Not great if you were sitting in another gate where seating was available. Food was pay as you go. Soft drinks and water were free. No in flight entertainment in the seat. They use GoGo Flight and rent tablets for 10.00 USD. The videos would skip and you will miss key elements of a plot. I was underwhelmed by this airline and will likely not take them again for a 5.5 hour flight."
Pros: "The ability to get to Montana in 3 1/2 hours. The only reason I fly squashed in a tin can."
Cons: "Being squashed in a tin can and not being able to recline. I never feel my comfort is any kind of a goal by an airline. Only one goal for the airline. Profit. Can't even say safety is a high priority because how the heck can you get out of a plane when there's no space to walk. Passengers need more space not less. But can't do that it'd lower your profit."
Cons: "They gave so little time that there were no other good options on any airline left to get to Vegas. And to top it off, while they fully refunded my flight, they only provided me a voucher worth less than half another flight as compensation -- yet I completely missed my vacation because of their fault. Very poor handling by Alaska."

Cons: "Huge delay which caused most people on the flight to miss connections without explanation. Then, as we all rushed to get on a bus to get to customs there was a holdup. We were all agitated and needed to get moving to rush to our next flights, then we saw the holdup was the crew! Alaska needed to show more urgency in trying to make up for there almost-two-hour delay."

Cons: "So many bags that were suppose to go under the seat infront of you that weren't. So that those of us that boarded last had to wait while stewarts removed small carry ons. So that our one carry on that fit in the box but not under the seat could be stowed. It would be nice if the smalls bags that are to be stowed under the seat were. The family next to me had 9 bags in the over head. There were two adults and two children 3 and 4."
