Pros: the two older female stewards spoke slow enough so I could understand. The customer service rep in the lobby was always friendly, knowlegeable and able to help me. For example, I did not know, when boarding, if we had to show our passports, but I asked him and we did not. I did not grasp the five levels of boarding he mentioned. I knew our group was not handicapped and we were economy, but I did not really know if we were group 4 or 5 to board.
Cons: There was one female steward who made me take my carry on bag from the upper deck and store it below my seat so another lady's much, much larger bag would fit. Her bag was so large, I can't believe it met the standards. On the other hand, this procedure may be the way things work out,for the good of everyone, but it came as a surprise to me. To accomplish the task, she even asked another female to move her carry on from the rack above her to another several rows down. This lady's hair was too big for such a small plane. She talked way too fast in the first monologue. The plane seemed cheap and the sub airline had an air outlet that would not turn off and leaked with water mist. There was an air conditioner that also had a water vapor leak overhead, which my son said was a 'strip' which he could not control. We were seating in the back row. We noticed the plane was operated by Mesa airlines and the plane was assembled in Brazil, giving me a feeling of excessive cost cutting. Also, the pilot had an accent that sort of added to the 'Brazil' thing that he was not a native English speaker. However, he had a good landing at Atlanta near midnight. I did not feel I was on a real 'United' Airlines flight.

I was seated in a middle seat "J" (I believe) in row 37 or 39. The men were receiving from the stewardesses repeatedly two glasses at a time and kept going back to the galley and getting two glasses of wine at a time Although they were loud, congregating in the aisle around rows 37 and 39 they were not limited in what they could drink. The two on either side of me were disrespectful of my personal space and were very inappropriate. I got up and went to the galley behind my seat to ask the stewardesses to get me another seat. During this time the guys kept coming back to this galley for more wine still taking two at a time. The stewardesses explained that the plane was full. Others complained also. I then asked the stewardesses if since they were over serving these guys, would they trade one of their jump seats with me. At this point they cut the guys off and got the pursar. She talked to them and ignored my personal safety concerns and said no one gets on a plane drunk (yeah, right) and that they would now behave and were asleep. That's why they are still talking at the top of their lungs and standing in the aisle? I asked. I wish I had video recorded this, I did not as others with kids in the aisles across from me did. I hope their videos go viral Not impressed with Lufthansa

International gates are usually closer than that. On the flight: 1. The armrests pull up, which is great if you're traveling with family or a significant other. But, in my case, it was an overweight and obese lady, who didn't fit in her seat and just slipped into half of mine. I was stuck with half a seat with her arm bumping mine for a 12-hour flight. I landed with a bruised arm. It was a round trip flight. When I had submitted a complaint, Lufthansa refunded me a 100$, which is nice of them, but I think they should have upgraded me for my return flight instead to make up for the first flight being uncomfortable. 2. I paid for the internet service and was charged double for it. Again, had to submit a complaint and was refunded the money. Check-in: The online system wouldn't allow me to check in online because my passport wasn't biometric.

By the time I got to the counter, it was 7:40 and there was zero chance of my bag being checked in for this flight with the staff showing me attitude. When I told him that all I was here before the drop-off time and all I wanted were tags and that his other staff just told me to line up without helping, he just said "you can buy another ticket for the next flight or leave your bag here and pick it up when you return from your trip." Honestly, the worst customer experience I have ever had!

It was found and I was able to get to the gate but only 20 min. left... because the flight was late arriving from Montreal. Phew! Two customers had been waiting for a baggage for 24 hrs, there, totally frustrated. Compared to their ssituation, mine was not so serious? Two men at counter were not sympathetic, no emotions showing. Until I paid attention to their problem, a woman showed up, tried to amend the situation. AirCanada's corporate image was damaged by those two men.
Cons: They had nothing together. My first flight was delayed so I got in late and my connecting flight was rescheduled for 5 hours later. Their "free meal voucher" for rescheduling amounts to one slice of pizza and no drink. The airport then lost my checked bag and kept me waiting in one room for 4 of those hours to where I was still rushing to catch my next flight. Air Canada then forgot to assign a plane to my new second flight so I waited another 2 hours to board. Once boarded, the airline made us wait another hour while they loaded bags, then unloaded some of the wrong bags thy put on. They then tacked 25 minutes in the wrong direction and we went all the way back. I have never seen so many people rushing the customer service desks because they missed their connecting flights, throughout the entire time I was stuck in Toronto. Additionally, their "in flight movie system" doesn't work unless you rent one of their iPads. It prompts you to download Java Flash player even if you already have it instead of asking to run it. Then once you allow it, you get a 1-2 second animation then the movie breaks. There are similar errors with their music and tv show features, I tried all of these in my laptop and phone.

The plane was overpacked, not allowing much personal space even in the aisle seat. People were sleeping on the floor and some in the aisles, creating a tripping hazard to those wanting to stand and stretch or walk to the restrooms. Those who attempted to sleep in their seat found that the seats were very uncomfortable and had very little to no leg room. When it came time to land at our destination, we ended up having to circle the airport for an additional 35 mins waiting for the terminal to free up. It was a very long 10hr flight that even the nice selection of movies to choose from couldn't help. Terrible flight experience, Canadian Air has really gone down hill.

Cons: There were too many things to mention, but I must say the customer service is not a strong point neither is a customer first mindset. The airlines apparent made several changes between my trip and I was threaten with additional bag fees when my ticket was very clear for two carry-ons and to checked bags, which also confirmed when I confirmed my seat request. After I was required to check my bags, I realized my earbuds were in the bag and the flight attendant did not give me a pair and actually told me I could purchase a pair...REALLY!I just did a 15 hour flight from Dubai, you were delayed by 2 hours on my last connecting flight and you can't comp a pair of .25 cent earbuds.
Pros: When I finally got to the US Customs agents they were actually quite nice. This has been my experience with US agents in Vancouver and Philadelphia as well. Yesterday they were especially cordial, while at the same time quite professional. Made me proud to be a US citizen.
Cons: Don't know what could be done about it, but the security liine was the longest I've ever seen. I've come home from Vancouver many times before, and most times I fly direct to the USA from YVR, where things are much better. Don't think it's Tornoto's fault.....but, yesterday's experience with the security line makes it unlikely that I will come back home this way again.

Cons: The way we were treated when we had to deplane because of mechanical problems. Air Canada spent little time looking for hotel rooms and told us if we can find one for ourselves they would be willing to give us up to$150 for the room if we saved our receipts. Where can you find a room in Phoenix for $150? You can't. The plane was suppose to leave 6:25pm . This was 9:00pm. No offer of food , drinks nothing. People were tired and hungry. Finally after a lot of complaining, that's when some us were given rooms they gave us vouchers for the hotels restaurant that was closed due to renovations. The agent was to,d this when they reserved the rooms but they lead us to believe there would be food there. We didn't get out until 2:00 pm the next day. And even that flight was late. I was exhausted when I finally reached my destination. I lost over a day of my vacation. I don't want to fly with Air Canada again!!!!!!!!!!
Pros: The entertainment
Cons: Having to pay to have a bit of extra comfor while traveling with a 14 months old
Cons: The Crew Was rude. the seats were small, NO TV's, for a 10 hour flight. Had to "rent" a iPad. I was not able to download movies on my own device. Had to pay for drinks, on an international flight, Are you kidding me!!?? I will never fly Air Canada Rouge again. Very disappointing.

Cons: My biggest complaint regarding air Canada is the poor service and indifference typically exhibited by their service staff.
Pros: I bought Business Class because the rate was very competitive. Seat was comfortable enough. Flight departed nearly an hour late, but arrived early at the destination, which helped.
Cons: The flight attendants in first class honestly seemed overworked and had no time for anyone. A request for a mixed whiskey beverage brought a Diet Coke instead. The attendant didn't seem to care at all when the mistake was pointed out, nor did she fix it. Snacks and drinks were essentially flung at us with the care of throwing slop at farm animals. Which pretty much describes the quality of the meal.
Pros: The in-flight entertainment system was enjoyable, though somewhat confusing to use. The staff were pleasant and professional.

Pros: This was the usual flight. Nothing exceptional. The flight crew were very nice.
Cons: First of all, the flight schedule was changed on June 3rd, after the passenger had already left the country for her trip. The flight leaving Milan was moved up BY 6 HOURS!!! When we called the 3rd party used to book the flight, they were not helpful in trying to find a more reasonable option that was similar to the original itinerary booked. So, the passenger got to the airport at 4 am for their 6 am flight and was not able to check in because the 3rd party agency had not confirmed her seats on that flight. No one was available from Air Canada to assist with this issue. The passenger had to work with the Milan Airport information desk and they were able to find out that the 3rd party had never cancelled her seats on the original itinerary so her seats could not be confirmed on the 6 am flight they had "rebooked" her on. As there were no airline personnel to assist, by the time this was found out, the passenger had missed her flight. The person at the Milan airport information desk had to help find a different flight for her to travel on a different airline. This was the WORST experience I have ever encountered!!!!!!!!!!!!!
