She barely slept the whole flight and I had a stuardis in a red dress who whem I asked for for a beverage made it seem like I asked for it right now. Didn't say a word Else to me until it was time to land and my daughter had just fell asleep. She told me. I had to take her out of the baby carrier. My daughter needed a diaper change and there were no places to change her. I tried to change her by the door really fast. The stuardis said no go change in a bathroom I asked which one had a changing station they said none and to just change in my lap. Plus my car seat was broke when I got it back."

Cons: "where should i start? my flight was delayed leaving NC to ATL. after standing in line for over an hr trying to speak to someone about the issue. i was notified on my phone i could keep my current flight or rebook of course i wanted to keep my current flight since it was my birthday weekend. i then called delta (in nc) for help since they told us we wouldnt make our 1030 flight and we might have to stay in a hotel that night until we could rebook the flight. not cool! i was told by a person (in nc)about what i should do once landed in ATL. they were beyond rude. they turned their backs or gave half answers. when asked about the hotel for the night they told me they werent going to handle that and i had to pay for a hotel AFTER i was just told by a delta agent that if i had to stay overnight my hotel was going to be covered. i then again called a delta agent in ATL after being informed that my status on the stand by list wasnt activated and i had less than 10 mins to make it to the next terminal and try to get activated and i would probably not get onto that flight to leave ATL. we were told that we had to stay in the terminal that night. my whole trip could have been ruined from the start from the flight being delayed in NC to talking to rude delta agents in NC and ATL. my flight status being one thing and then finding out it was something else. i never had to deal with something like this."

This wasn't the worst American flight , however. I recently had the displeasure of flying on one of the new planes, and that seat was so upright, cramped, and hard, it was like being on Spirit! (And I refuse to get on their planes ever again) my entire body was sore and stiff after flying on the new AA jet."

Was #1 and #2 on waiting list for last 4 flights of the day, but was not given a seat. Others who were either employees or also waiting somehow got a seat though. How is this? Had to sleep in airport and pray to make the AM flight. I'm so disappointed that we are not picked in waiting order. No, all the others did not have priority seating or something. Passengers talk while waiting, so I know I'm not assuming this. We also heard the employees conversations about "hoping to get a seat too". None of us were told our new flight assignments were "stand by" either. If I was aware of this, I would have made another flight arrangement or could have driven to my destination! I paid for a ticket, yet employees on stand by flight get priority. Not right!"

So when I tried to have American change the airport so that I can take another flight not only were they careless about my loss nobody tried helping me rebook they just told me the only thing I can pay $200 plus another ticket for about $600 or use another airline it may be cheaper i thought that was so rude an they would have a little sympathy but they did not. I end up spending $328 an using a whole other airline for a honest mistake I'm just very dissatisfied an disappointed that American airline would do that to me on one of the hardest times in my life an I hope they never treat anybody they way they did me."

The flight should have been cancelled sooner Very frustrating to say the least. We lost over $1000 in hotels and train tickets also. We received no empathy about this."

Pros: "It was a very easy flight, took off on time and arrived 45 minutes early. So much easier and less painful than Delta. The only negative was having to pay for food only snack food and coffee or soft drinks but knowing ahead of time, I would just bring my own food. The crew was very serious and conscientious. I felt very safe with them. I was able to use TSA precheck without a problem. I would definitely use Frontier again."

But the flight was delayed on the way out due to maintenance - Frontier contracts out their maintenance - so then we switched to a different plane. I was more than an hour late to my meeting in New York. Even The flight attendants were rude - they wouldn't even give me a cup of water after I had run to a different terminal and back trying to catch a different flight out. The flight back was even worse. Again, we were delayed. And the flight attendants were rude. I've flown probably around 200 flights in my life. These two flights were without a doubt the worst experience I've ever had."

Once the plane landed we had to hold up the other passengers to try and retrieve our items. Pros: "They don't comply with thier own policies. Thier website says a carry on bag and a personal item (such as a laptop bag) is allowed free of charge. When i reach their with a very tiny suitcase and a laptop bag, the front end staff tells me I am fine and can go ahead with the sevurity line. But when I reach at the gate and just as I am about to enter the flight a frontier employee snatches my bording pass and says that I have to pay $60 for my one item, as only one item is allowed. And she was so rude that she wouldn't listen to anything. Says the gate closes in 3mins if you wanna get in this flight pay $60 or else she wont let me in. I had no choice other than to pay. This was through kayak. I would request kayak to not keep any kinda relation qith such ripoff fraud companies, if they don't want bunch of bad reviews them self. Frontier has already millions of bad reviews and one more added from my side just now. I would never ever travel frontier again. N by the way the flight sucked as well."

Didn't offer any free beverages on the flight. You had to pay $2 for a soda. Plane was old and beat up. None of the machines worked to print up my boarding pass which left me on a long line where me and a couple other people missed their flight due to lack of staff behind the counter. They tried to charge me another $100 for another flight and still charged me the $70 for the flight I missed. So I went to American and got first class for A LOT cheaper than what I paid all together for this flight. Waste of time, money and just a big disappointment all around. Will NEVER fly frontier again!"

Then the plane sat in line for take off for an 1 hour in addition to being delayed for an hour prior to boarding. Bags took another 30 minutes to be retrieved in baggage claim. This experienced caused a ripple effect in my day"

The seats were pretty comfortable (although I'm not sure they reclined - couldn't see how they would), flight attendants friendly and capable, and I appreciated the announcement re where to find our checked bags."
Cons: "I didn't order coffee during this leg, having ordered it on my trip out and finding that it tasted like instant machine coffee.... I had an aisle seat, and the mother and young son next to me talked loudly during the entire flight, making it hard to concentrate in my reading in spite of wearing earplugs. But this has nothing to do with Spirit - simply their ignorance and lack of consideration and my being unwilling to speak with them about it."

Cons: "The airline charges you for everything, including getting a seat. Isn't that the whole point of buying a ticket in the first place? If not, did I buy a ticket just to stand on the plane, but the FAA does not allow me to stand the whole time, so I thought I was buying a seat! No. When you check in for the flight, you have to pick a seat which is an additional charge. Then, do you want to actually take clothes on your trip that don't fit in your pocket? That's an additional charge, even for a carry on. And, the size and weight limits of your luggage are less than almost all other Airlines. Example, Spirit only allows your checked luggage to be a maximum of 40lbs. Most other airlines allow up to 50lbs. If over 40 lbs, there is an additional $25 on top of the excessive checked luggage fee of $31 (carry-ons are even more. So you get penalized for doing the work yourself!) There is a nice onboard Menu card, but everything is for sale. Don't expect to get even a free cup of water. I can see why Spirit advertises much lower fares than other Airlines, but when all said and done, your total fare with cost of a seat, luggage, drink on your 3 hour flight, may be more than a premium carrier. We paid an additional $280 after our ticket price for these "extras". A seat is an extra? Just be aware. Cheaper is not always cheaper!"

As a student, I do not have any disposable income; I found it very misleading that the price to "fly" and the price to buy a ticket were very different. 80 dollar flight vs. additional 110 dollars to get from point A to point B."

I've always thought Kayak was trusted source for travel bookings, won't trust them as easily now that they have Spirit as one of their flight options."
