I liked that the car met my expectations. However, I was disappointed by the lack of transparency and the customer service: - The online price did not include the mandatory insurance, making it appear much lower than it actually was. - When I collected the car, I was told to return it with a full tank, even though it was not provided with one. When I returned it, I was told the opposite and received no credit for the extra fuel I had added. - Three days after returning the vehicle, I still have not received the final invoice or the refund of my CAD 1,000 security deposit, despite being told everything was okay when I returned the car.Reviewed Aug 7 2026

I was charged more than what I reserved it for online. Didn't have the car I requested and gave me a car that had multiple issues.Reviewed Jul 30 2026

I had a very disappointing experience with this rental company. There was no direct shuttle from the airport, making pickup more inconvenient than expected. When I arrived, they initially could not locate my reservation. Although I planned to use the rental insurance provided by my credit card, they refused to accept it and required me to upload proof of my personal auto insurance instead. Otherwise, I would have been forced to purchase their additional coverage. The vehicle itself smelled strongly of marijuana, which was unacceptable. To make matters worse, they charged a $500 security deposit that they said could take up to 20 business days to be refunded. That means I’ll have to monitor my account and likely follow up to ensure the deposit is actually returned. Overall, the experience was frustrating from start to finish. I will not rent from this company again, and I’m disappointed that Kayak includes them as one of its rental options.Reviewed Jun 26 2026

The vehicle I reserved was not available, nor were any full-sized suvs. (I was parked directly in front of a Nissan Pathfinder in their inventory). The staff attempted to give me a compact suv, insisting it was full-sized. After asking for a cost adjustment, my reservation was switched to another company and I was rented a small suv. Upon returning the vehicle (hours early), I was told I had “smoked” in the vehicle based on a sensor and with no inspection to the interior of the vehicle. I do not smoke in any form and the passengers in the vehicle were elementary school-aged children (who also confirm there was no smoking in the vehicle). Given the multiple attempts to collect money from me in some way, this feels like a scam to collect fees from my deposit.Reviewed May 26 2026

I drove an hour away, I parked the car. I came back to the car it wouldn’t start. I had to leave it to go to an appointment in the meantime, roadside service came and said that it had the wrong battery. There were a lot of other things, mandatory tolls, I bought extra miles, then the rental, and mandatory insurance. I got no relief no refund no grace. I should’ve rented with Hertz. Just messing around with the shuttle was a pain in the a**.Reviewed Apr 20 2026

I did not get the car. This place is shady. They want $500-1000 deposits on cars. They wanted to charge me an extra $300 for the rental. Kayak should not promote this company, they are under investigation with the attorney general office in Florida. If kayak or Expedia charges me anything, I will refute the charge with my credit card company.Reviewed Mar 29 2026

Not good - I selected a car with unlimited miles. The person at the counter told me it was one hundred miles per day. Unlimited miles was another $207.87 I was also told sunpass was an additional $207.87 I said I have my own account he said it was a Florida law. I went on line to check and that was not what I read. I had to pay a lot of extra money I was not planning on.Reviewed Mar 20 2026
