Pros: Easy pick-up location at the Gainesville airport.
Cons: The key fob transmitter batteries were dead. I had to wait quite a while as the Alamo employees looked for a screwdriver, opened the fob and then realized that they did not have the correct battery replacement. They did not offer me a different car or any other solution so I had to use the key.

They refuse to respect the reservation
Pros: Nothing at all
Cons: I was to pickup the car at the correct time and I showed my reservation, gave my driver license , and my credit card to the man who attended me in Alamos Rental Car company. Alamo's representative did not recognize my Mexican driver license and refuse to gave me the service, although I told him that I do not have time to look for other options, and his decision affect me so much, because I planned to drive to Orlando to take a flight. I had never received such a bad treatment, and I felt really stressed because of that. I travel very often to the United States, and I trust in Kayak services. This is the first time that a company respond without any sensitivity to my needs. Fortunately I found at the Gainsville terminal another company that helped me and now I am safe at home.

Horrible service picking up in Gainesville
Pros: Comfortable car
Cons: The manager at the counter (Evaline) was making it nearly impossible for me to pick up rental in Gainesville. She enjoyed giving me a hard time, even snickering and laughing in my face when I couldn’t present her with a credit card. Because of her inefficiency, she set us back almost 2 hours on a 7hr trip.

Cons: Car was very small and didn't feel safe on the interstate driving 2 hours from Gainesville to Orlando. It was fine to drive in town and short distances. Should have been considered when renting a car one way to Orlando.
