Pros:Nothing, I had to wait 30 minutes on a car. I had reserved my car 24 hours before, only to be told when I got there that they were still cleaning card because they had had a run on cars. If I'm not reserving my car to have it ready when I get there, then why am I reserving a car at all. Why do walk of customers get first preference?
Cons:Within 3 hours of renting the car I called the 800 number with a problem. They told me the nearest airport to me did not have any cars available, but another airport that was on my way did. I was told I was reserve the car for the next day and could pick it up at 1 pm. I arrive to the airport at 1:30 p.m. to be told there were no cars and if I check my car and she would be giving me the same car. When told I had had a car reserved the day before, she told me I don't know I don't care we don't have no cars. I said the car is unsafe to drive, she said we don't have no cars.
Pros:Associates at pick up and drop off were EXCELLENT. Really nice people and VERY professional. Car was clean and drove well.
Cons:Did NOT like the HUGE cost to return the car elsewhere. That's just not necessary or reasonable.
Pros:Ended up with a nice, comfortable vehicle with all the bells and whistles.
Cons:They had originally given me a with a warning light on. After I insisted that the sales person sign something releasing me and stating that she told me that the vehicle was okay to drive, she decided to give me an upgrade instead.
Pros:Staff was very helpful despite my plane's late arrival and pick up and drop off was a breeze.

Cons:I hit a heavy rain on my way home to Memphis. The windshield wipers were horrible. I recommend either replacing them more frequently or applying RainX to the windshield. Ensuring the safety of your driver should be a priority.

Pros:The drop off was great, however, the pickup was awful. When I went to pickup the car ON TIME, the agent was not receptive. I told him I have a premium rental booked but he gave me a economy and said I had to pay the same price. I don’t understand how that works - why would I pay MORE for something that is LESS when I reserved it 4 weeks in advance? Moreover, he handed me the keys and said i don’t know where the car is, use the alarm to find it. It was 99 degrees outside in a huge lot. Completely unacceptable and just RUDE.
Cons:The pick up and Alamo should promise the same class of car if reserved in advance.

Cons:The car wasn't clean.... Cat hair everywhere! Had a blow out three hours after renting vehicle.... Tire looked like it was rotted out on the inside.... Was on the phone with Alamo multiple times and they refused to assist me. Alamo rep (I have his rep id) laughed in my face when he told me I had to buy a new tire for THEIR vehicle.... When I turned car in and told how disappointed I was, I was charged an extra $80 on top of what I paid because Alamo says I'm responsible for the tire. I WILL BE EMAILING! WRITING, AND CALLING CORPORATE!!!!!
