Cons:How much fear instilled regarding insurance coverage
Pros:I liked the fact that I got to choose a car! Returning my car was a breeze!

Cons:We weren't informed before going to pick up the car that we were required to have a credit card for the transaction and deposit. A debit card wouldn't work. We don't have credit cards, we are smart and don't have or want to use credit. Day shot, no time to find another vehicle. If this is a policy perhaps make sure it is known before making the reservation.

Cons:My flight was delayed by 3 hours, so instead of getting in at 9:00 pm it was midnight. When I got to the Alamo rental in the airport the entire garage was empty of cars. There were about 8 of us in line with nothing that we could do but wait to see if more cars were brought over, the employee said that they had overbooked and were waiting for more cars to be turned in and cleaned up. It was after 2:00 am when I got my car, thank goodness I kept my email confirmation because they wanted to charge me an extra $125 even though I picked up the car 5 hours later than I originally scheduled it for. I guess car rental companies are like airlines, they overbook "hoping" people don't show up but when everyone does the customers just get mad and end up having a poor experience.
