Pros:When I arrived there was a really long line, which made me nervous because I was running late to my business meeting that evening. However, when I went to collect my rental car, they upgraded my car (& everyone else's) for free due to the long lines. The staff was cheerful, friendly & helpful throughout the entire process. This experience makes me want to use Alamo every time I need a rental. I've had other similar experiences with Alamo in the past (minus the free upgrade), & am impressed by how friendly their staff always is. So impressed by this company & grateful for such a positive experience. Made traveling much easier!
Pros:When we arrived in Philadelphia, they were out of the car I had reserved. They went above and beyond to give me a nicer car, charge me a lower rate and give me a free tank of gas. As great as that was, I really needed a Suburban, which I had reserved, to be able to accommodate 6 people and 6 large suitcases. The attendant outside very nicely loaded all our heavy bags in TWO different vehicles trying to get them to fit, all the while with a smile on his face and so courteous. The manager himself called me the next day as soon as he got a suburban on his lot. I did have to drive all the way back to the airport to switch out the cars, but I got the car that I needed. Upon returning the car, the attendant asked if he could get someone to drive us over to the airport since we had so many bags! It was such a blessing! All of the staff were VERY friendly and soo accomadting! They didn’t have to go to those lengths to make sure I was happy. I never leave reviews but this Alamo deserves a glowing report!

Cons:They didn't have the car that I selected online. I specifically needed an SUV and they told me that i selected something called a "manager deal." After i showed them the picture and detail of my Kayak reservation they gave me an SUV, but not the one i selected. All they had was a gas guzzling jeep causing me to spend more money on gas during my long distance road trip.
Cons:Alamo charged me over $1000 in pending charges on my credit card for the 3-day rental. These charges are still pending. I called their main customer service number and the office at the Philadelphia Airport to resolve the matter, but the manager at the branch didn't return my call. The rate for collision insurance was also more than the daily rate for the car ($25.99/day). I will never be a customer with Alamo again!
