Pros:Absolutely.

Cons:Nothing could be better. I had a major problem with scheduled time drop off because I had booked online with other agency. Avis made it perfect with no problem at all. Can't say enough good about them

Cons:I have good credit and was able to put down a large deposit, but they were unwilling to rent to me because I was paying with a Debit card. It's like someone willing to pay with Cash and them turning you away. I even offered to put down a really large deposit and they still turned me away. I ended up going to their competitor who was great and had no problem renting me a car (for what ended up being less money). Never AVIS again.

Pros:I liked the car - Chevy Cruze I liked the pick up service to and from the airport I liked the easy and out of the facility at PHL I liked how all of my documents could be signed on a iPad and NOT printed paper.

Cons:I didn't like how they upcharged me to get a Chevy Cruze. I had apparently a "basic" model, but nothing was available other than a VW beetle, so they charged me $12/day to get the Cruze. I didn't like that I couldn't get a receipt after I dropped it off. I didn't like how I had to stop to fill up the tires in the car because they were low. We had to travel 2.5 hours to central PA from PHL. Luckily, I know what I am doing, but the front tire was really low. I didn't like the waiting room at AVIS central. It's a stale place.

Pros:Convenience of pick up in Philly's Center City & drop off at airport. Low price! Kia compact was nimble and responsive.

Cons:At pick-up they printed the right price on the contract. At drop off, the price they printed on the receipt was more than quadruple the quoted price. I had to go in to the counter and wait in line and it took three agents to fix the problem and honor the original quote. If I had not had the time to wait in line and if the agents hadn't been as competent and dedicated, I would have been very, very upset with the quadrupling of the price. And keep in mind that my original reservation was for a midsize at the same low price. I agreed to a compact because it was the only one ready and clean at pick up. So I would have paid more for less. I suspect the software used in the machines that print your receipt on the return lot is not in sync with the software that manages the agreements with kayak. Also interesting that my final receipt was from Budget, although the reservation and office were Avis.

Pros:The car was like new, no issues.

Cons:Why was I allowed to book a drop-off location that was closed on Memorial Day? The person at the Avis counter made ME call Avis to find a solution. The car also didn't have a full tank of gas.
