The room had roaches all over my leftover food in the morning. Disgusting!

Room was outdated with heavy odor of cleaning chemicals used to mask mildew odors. Water was shut off for a period of time and was brown for awhile after it was turned on. Front desk did not notify housekeeping of an approval for a 12:30 checkout.

Grungy and far too expensive for grunge.

The rim was nice size, and the bed was very comfortable.

We were in a hurry ti make an appointment, we checked in at 2:15 and they were just cleaning our room.we had to stand outside on the balcony and wait holding all or things.Needless to say we were late to our appointment. The backing was dirty, and the breakfast was a joke. We will not be returning.

Saturday night there were lots of shady characters sitting outside room doors in hallways. Looked like a well known place for drug sales. Will not go back.

The staff was quick and friendly to respond to our issues. The room was clean and comfortable.

The room was somewhat shabby and needed repainting, etc. Three lights were burned out and the bathroom light didn't work.

It was convenient to the job site. With the exception of the AC, the layout of the rooms ensured quiet.

The loud AC and sink stopper was missing. I don't like wasting water.

Everything was in our room.

Non-smoking room and hall smelled like smoke.

From the moment we walked in very helpful staff and when we woke up to eat breakfast a cheerful lady made sure the buffet was fully stocked. She was genuinely helpful and caring. Beyond surprised with the hospitality; will definitely come back

From the moment we arrived the staff was very attentive to what ever we needed. they were always polite and truly made us feel at-home. Our room was very nice and it smelled clean, even walking without my shoes just with my bare feet the carpet felt clean. We enjoyed our stay and hopefully we will be able to return real soon.

Everything was just as it should be.

It was super clean. The staff was so very nice and even the women in the kitchen came out to ask how we were enjoying our stay and the food. I also loved the location and how it was very close to a Bu-cee's for late night snacks and gas.

I will definitely be staying here again when i visit Galveston.

The hotel's location was good and quiet. The facilities are new , and it is a NON-SMOKING hotel....which is a must for us. The staff was professional and personable.

There were no negative experiences with this hotel during this stay.

Best hotel in the area. Wi-fi in the room. Next to Sonic and other eating spots. In the middle of the two major roads of the areas. Been going for years and it's always getting better.

I've been staying at this hotel since 2008 to visit my daughter. It's always been great and has only improved.It used to be a Best Western but the only thing that's changed is the name.If you're going to stay in this area, it's the best hotel.

The fact that there wasn't a closer store. Restaurants inside the property were closed Sunday...

When we opened the door to our room 117 on 7/29/16 I disregarded the piece of carpet torn up carpet glued down between the doorway and hallway. I made these reservations months in advance and no reason to point it out to my wife or anyone...no big deal. The next morning we left our room at 8:15am to make it in plenty of time for the "hot breakfast" that was advertised and prominently displayed. There were no more eggs, biscuits, gravy...not even any forks. Surely they were in the back preparing more we laughed with the other couple who was there before us and the next couple of people that wondered in. Finally I asked the person behind the desk when more food was coming out and was informed that there was no more food coming out...hmmmm. The coffee was out too....she did bring more forks finally (should that go in the "What did you like column"?)...this same person checked me out yet made no mention/apology for what had taken place earlier What kind of management would have a sold out property the night before yet be so incredibly unprepared? Skip this place - there looked to be several other hotels nearby.

The room was clean, AC worked great, staff were pleasant.

The hairdryer in my room did not work. I reported it the first day but it was never fixed. The breakfast so-so. The gravy and the waffle batter were both too thin . The gravy was essentially colored water and the waffle batter was so thin it all ran out of the waffle iron when you flipped it. They would not print me a reciept at checkout. They said I was sent an email with the charges. I recieved a booking confirmation with a room quote. I should be able to see and doublecheck what they actually charged at checkout.!!!

The breakfast did not open until 7:00 am but luckily we were able to get coffee.

The pool was nice and warm and clean. The weight room was excellent. The breakfast was great. Not like most hotels where they tell you free breakfast and its crap. This hotel was on point. The staff was great and it's clean and very nice.

I guess the only dislike was just one washer and dryer for guests. Being that that's my biggest dislike I'd say this was a great choice

It was clean and had room to move around.

The breakfast had a variety but was not good. Also our 100qt white igloo cooler was stolen from our boat parked in the parking lot of the hotel. We noticed it after we left and stopped to get ice for it. We called & notified hotel. We have not heard back.
