9.5 Excellent
Pros: Lovely location, very friendly and helpful owner, nothing was too much trouble for her.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful and charming heritage (14th c.) building loaded with charm and atmosphere in quiet little town near the motorway. Easy access from Vitre. Walled Parking. Friendly charming sophisticated host(ess). Fantastic value. Wonderful farm/family breakfast served in a fantastic old room. Super clean and quiet, no barking dogs. Large cheerful room and bathroom. Amazing history to the building.
Cons: Having to leave.

Pros: Beautiful property, gracious hostess, great breakfast, huge room.
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The house has history and character, a good 'feel' and we enjoyed being in a country setting. We also enjoyed conversations with our host. A memorable, if brief, stay.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Dagmar was warm and thoughtful and so good with our young children. The accomodation was spotlessly clean and charming. We had a lovely super of galettes. All in all it was a wonderful experience and we hope to stay again in the future.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hostess, Dagmar, is a wonderful and very hospitable person. She takes care of every possible detail to make her guests' stay perfect and unforgettable. Brava.....no bravissima The building is exquisite and maintains its historical beauty and the rooms are tastefully furnished. We would recommend Au Presbyte're de Dagmar to anyone who is looking for a special place to unwind.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely warm welcome by Dagmar and very interesting chat on the history of the surrounding area. Charming old presbytery in peaceful village, a memorable stay. Great breakfast
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Nice quite location, Dagmar made us very welcome and provided an extensive breakfast.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We missed our flight connection and were thus rather late arriving. Dagmar was most accommodating our later arrival and even allowed us to join her and her lovely daughter for a bite, which was wholly unexpected, delightful and most appreciated. The property is out of the way, quiet and in a delightfully historic building. Our room was on the top floor and had angled ceilings, and especially comfy bed and a great shower. My only concern would be to stay in the heat of the summer in this top floor room. Kudos Dagmar and thanks so much for your consideration and generosity. Highly recommended.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: House and guest room were great. Owner, Dagmar, was very attentive and helpful. Room was at the top of the house and, with the scorching weather, was very hot but this was solved by the fans supplied by Dagmar. Property is well situated to explore Vitre or Rennes.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very welcoming and comfortable - and spotlessly clean. Highly recommended.
6.3 Good
Pros: The hosts were very accommodating especially with the arrangements for the cycles - they exceeded our expectations on this.
Cons: Too many house rules not known to us when booking - NO shoes to be worn inside the property - NO food or drink in the room - Breakfast was good quality but poor selection and quantity - Bathroom was advertised as Private but we ended up sharing with other guests! Also no Kitchenette and facilities around that for private use - only to use the hosts own kitchen etc . We expected our own fridge, toaster, microwave and to eat in our own lounge. Also on the web site the lounge shown is the hosts lounge not the one we used although this was ok. No Garden view from the room only next doors property which looked derelict . The advert/ information needs to be much clearer on all aspects.

We were offered a choice of room and chose one with shuttered windows overlooking the street. The room was comfortable with a large bathroom, which came with a generously sized bath.

4.5 Okay
Pros: I liked the fact that it is a true farm and hat the bathrooms are neat and clean.

4.5 Okay
Pros: Not a lot.
Cons: Garden view was tarmac -no curtains -poor shower head --lighting poor --worst breakfast we have ever had in France .Bread stale Owner did not show up ---asked to pay the day before .--avoid this place.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Biologite is a genuine family run organic farm, with a family greeting from the lady of the house. Everything is spick & span, bathrooms new, the bed furnishings are very good, of interesting old-fashioned style, fitting well with a feeling that this is a genuine large farmhouse. We did need our satnav to find it. The area is rich in must-do tourist places, e.g. Vitre, a fabulous fortress with the conical-roofed towers and another different one at Fourges, just up the way. All of eastern Britanny is accessible and that is one of the most fabulous parts of France.
Cons: nothing

Pros: location! right in the old center
Cons: The hotel info was not clear on the parking. There is parking but you need to pay for it! Also, the hotel closes at certain times and you need a code to enter. Lastly the hotel had no elevator, which was a problem for us. We were relocated on the ground floor, in a room that was not very pleasant (dark and had a faint sewer smell).
8.8 Excellent
Pros: For the second day in a row, no one was available when we arrived. For a hotel of 20odd rooms that is surely not good service. The hotel itself is extremely well maintained and in a fantastic location.the roo and bathroom were both very good. The bath towels were thin. After our initial disappointment on arrival, the staff were fine.

8.0 Excellent
Pros: Centrally located in a busy town. Parking in public car park, recommend safe by the patron.

Cons: The room was very small !!
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Very spacious and comfortable room, excellent location next to the castle. Staff friendly
Cons: Breakfast could have more variety and the breakfast room is a little small
9.5 Excellent
Pros: It was a pleasant little hotel with nice owners and a delicious buffet breakfast. The room was small, but very-well organized, so it was very comfortable and you didn't have a feeling that it was crowded. Also, as it overlooked the inner yard, it was quiet. The owners also have two very friendly dogs, who welcome you on arrival :-). The hotel is located behind the Chateau of Vitré,5 minutes away from the gare on foot.
Cons: I can't think of anything.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: We loved that the hotel is family-owned and managed. Our daughter played with the dogs, our son got to watch football with the boss, and as a family of 5 we felt really welcome and comfortable. The hotel is in the old town, next to the chateau, so we walked around, had dinner nearby, and enjoyed the most of our one-night stay in Vitré.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The owners were very helpful with telling us how to find the places we wanted to see and helping me to get on the internet. The bathroom was large and very well equipped. The location is super as it is smack in the middle of the Centre Ville with its half timbered houses and the hotel is right at the base of the chateau.
Cons: The room was a little small and a little dark.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly and accommodating View of Château at night amazing Close to excellent restaurants Great breakfast

8.8 Excellent
Pros: Quiet rooms and very clean.
Cons: Wifi access was poor.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Spacious
Cons: My children said it’s for elderly
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Large rooms with comfortable beds. Good kitchen area so able to prepare our own breakfast in the morning. Quiet. Friendly reception staff. NB It is in an old people's home but to have two bedrooms and a living area which was quiet, clean, a good size and not far from the old town was amazing! We walked in to town with a 5 & 7 yr old and it really isn't far.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff were helpful considering I didn't speak French and they didn't speak English. Apartment was very clean, comfortable and warm.
Cons: WiFi was not working which was an issue with being on business. No evening meal. I arrived at 9.30pm and there were no facilities for food. Was about 20 minute walk from town centre. Time I arrived everywhere was closed nearby.
7.5 Good
Pros: While the cooking materials were minimal, we could make our own breakfast and lunch and, with ingenuity, a couple dinners. Staff were very friendly but hardly spoke a word of English.
Cons: This did not bother us but might bother some guests. The "Hotel" is, primarily, an assisted living center. The public areas were at most times populated by very elderly residents and the room was arranged and furnished accordingly.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Spacious apartment, very comfortable. We had picked up from other reviews that this apartment is in a retirement complex but this was not a problem for us and it’s a very easy walk into the town.
Cons: Nothing
6.8 Good
Pros: Big and comfortable bed. Clean and quite new facility in the room.
Cons: Staff didn't speak English. The place is guesthouse for the elderly and there is no any word about in Booking.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: spacious room with complete cooking utensils, very near to big supermarket (leClerc), that's all what i need. The staff doesn't understand english that well, but as they're very friendly, we always figure our way out!
5.8 Okay
Cons: Curtains were too short to cover the windows
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Spacious, modern, one-bedroom apartment with balcony in a guesthouse for elderly people. Free access to indoor swimming pool and gym. Car parking behind the building. Easy to cook your own meals: the apartment is equipped with microwave and ceramic plates, and a giant Leclerc supermarket is at 5 min walking distance. Quiet neighbourhood close to botanic garden, a 10-15 min pleasant walk from downtown Vitré.
Cons: Wifi in the apartment is o.k., but make sure that the password you obtain from the reception is correct. Lighting in our apartment could be improved by adding a reading light, the lamp on the ceiling was insufficient.

5.5 Okay
Pros: Absolutely fine for my needs. I stayed here with my two small children (2 yrs and 4yrs) to break up a long drive and it was fine. Easy to find as it's in the aire (which incidentally isn't as big as I assumed it would be given there's a hotel on the site). It's clean though outdated and very basic. No lift so had to trek up the stairs with kids and 'stuff'. But no cause to complain and I would stay there again if I just needed somewhere cheap to rest my head.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was expected for a brief overnight stay on a long journey. Stayed here several times. Ideal.
