Pros. The bed was very comfortable
Cons. The room decor was worn out.
Cons. Rude staff at the check in desk. We had booked a king & were given a double right next to the elevators despite having a 1 year old that was a light sleeper. We weren't offered a child crib. They also kept giving us key cards that wouldn't work. Very tiny bathrooms so you can't fit 2 people near the sink.
Pros. Location was great for a commute to my job in DC. Weekend and holiday schedule for Metro is horrible. Don’t plan on getting to work in the morning. I had to Uber twice due to closed Metro.
Cons. Walls are very thin, you can hear your neighbor coughing and speaking. No free WiFi, they do give you a free bottle of water, mine was only replaced twice in 6 days. If you go for the second bottle is $5. Over all, basic lodging with nothing extra.
Pros. Location close to Reagan National airport and value of the offering. Great rate for this stay
Cons. No shuttle after 11pm. Because of my arrival I called and told them not to release my prepaid room due to late arrival nd in spite of this was told to call again the day of my arrival to re, re confirm. No problems but one time should have been enough.
Pros. The bed was phenomenally comfortable and the room was well-appointed; on-site parking was easy to get in and out of and the facilities were pristine. Westin staff were friendly and professional.
Cons. The walls were paper thin and I could hear everything else happening on the floor; not the best accommodation if you're a light sleeper. Additionally the whole room had bright blue LEDs on the light switches that were angled directly into my face. There was also a notable gap between the bottom of the entrance door and the floor which exacerbated the sound and light issues. It might not be an issue for some people but it wasn't the best way to sleep off a wedding night hangover!
Pros. Bed was comfortable, hotel was clean.
Cons. The great price you get from Kayak does NOT include parking, an additional $34, or Wifi, an additional $15! They charged for the parking and wifi even though I included them in my search. The hotel desk staff was pretty nasty about it when I questioned it. By the way, that extra parking charge was not removed even though every time we needed to exit we had to run back inside the hotel to get them to lift the arm on the gate, which would not read or card, or anyone else's.
Cons. I made my reservations over almost 2 months in advance for a traditional room with one king sized bed. I arrived at the hotel early so I could fix up the room with rose petals and surprise my fiancé. When I checked in, Daniel at the front desk told me that I would have to settle for 2 queen size beds when that is not what I requested in my reservation. He proceeded to tell me that for the cheap rate I was getting on the hotel through hotels.com, that I should be happy with the room I have for the amount of money I paid! I was insulted, if I requested a king sized bed then that is what I should have gotten, and although I did receive a great deal on hotels.com that should not take away from what I requested! What I had planned for my fiancé was totally ruined because we couldn't even sleep in the same bed because the bed was so small, and I was laying on the edge the entire time ! Very unromantic and disappointing!
Pros. good location and room clean.
Cons. Overcharge for parking and Internet.
Pros. Room Staff Restaurant for breakfast
Cons. Exhorbitant parking charge Technological difficulties getting elevator started and opening garage exit gate
Pros. The staff were very professional and helpful. The room was updated and clean and the property was safe and quiet.
Cons. The ATM was down.
