Staff was very friendly and helpful. Could not check in until 3 pm. I disagree with this policy. What if you have been flying all night and arrive at 9 or 10 am? I know they could waive this, but 3 pm policy just doesn't make sense.

It was quiet. The sheets were clean. The bed was comfortable. I requested a non-smoking room. My room most certainly reeked of cigarette smoke. In fairness, I don't know if the smoke seeped in from smoking rooms or the smoking guests passing by or if someone actually smoked in the room or a combination. It was definitely smokey, the curtains smelled of smoke.You could taste the smell of smoke in the air. I called the front desk and reported that. I opened the window and turned on the fans to try to lessen the smell. The bathroom sink wasn't cleaned. It had some particles in it and toothpaste spots on the faucet. The toilet had the "Sanitized" band on it but, there was hair on and around the toilet. There was what appeared to be a "booger" on the inside of the shower curtain. There was a little debris on the floor. It did not look like the carpet was vacuumed. The breakfast was bad. Pitiful, unappetizing offering of food. Omelets with only "cheese-like" product. The coffee was not drinkable I threw mine in the trash after one sip and I didn't eat there.. It tasted like weak, instant coffee. The bread and pastries looked stale. I would really like to have good old Americans employed. I would like to see No Smoking policy on the entire grounds. There were foreigners everywhere on the grounds smoking and the smoke infiltrated the rooms, the lobby, the breakfast room and the entrance of the hotel. I couldn't get out of that Days Inn fast enough.
The Days Inn was a cheap last minute option. At check-in the staff was tired with a mild sense of humor. It was slightly comforting to see the parking lot had a security guard continuously walking the area. It's located in a small shopping area with a pizza restaurant, vape shop, cash advance store, and other similar businesses. Not far from other shopping areas and beats having to drive all the way in from LAX. The room was old and humid/stuffy. The bathroom shower head had hard water build up and the floors weren't very clean. There was long black hair in the bed sheets, and I felt I should have brought Lysol with me to disinfect everything. I was waiting to see cockroaches but never did. You have to navigate a labyrinth of stairs to get to your room which makes it hard to drag your big bags. I assume there have been problems with vehical robberies which is why they have a security guard walking the area.

Front desk workers were nice. Carpet was filthy. I killed a cockroach the first night. Furniture had gang graffiti carved and written allover. It definitely isn't the cleanest of places.

The location, close to the freeway and 10% off at Denny's next to it. A lot! They would not clean our room. Had roaches. Manager was extreemly rude. It was a nightmare. They refused to refund, which is the only reason why we had to stay.

The housekeeper was rude and unproffesional, tried to warm my food in the loby and she told me that the microwave is only for group guest, approched the guest service and used the same microwave that I was denied by the house keeper. Little courtsey.
We enjoyed how comfortable the beds were, especially the pillows. Each bed had 4 pillows and after a long day, it was exactly what we needed. The things we did not like the most about the hotel was how our room was so close to the freeway. We can hear all the cars passing by. Thankfully, it didn't disturb us as much as we thought.

The room itself wasn't terrible. Front desk personnel were extremely unprofessional, wouldn't let me check in at the 3 pm check in time so I had to sit in the parking lot. Then she said she needed an extra $5 cash to check me in.

What I like is the history about the Ship and the Location. I understand that there is an investment proyevt to improve the condition of the ship, incluían Public Areas and Rooms. Great view from the Decks. A lot of Potential to be a nice lace that was before. Get the Ship back in good shape and not just take advantage of the name! (This is for the Operators) My room was M216 I did not like the conditions of the room. It was not clean! No mentioned in the reservation that will be inside room! Big difference! Items were really old and rusty mainly in the Bathroom! Shawrr door, one light bulb missing, the chain of the lock at entrance door broken, I went to get ice and the bucket had brown water with a plastic bag!! And the door of the Air Conditioning, which was above the bed was showing further prints All over in a white door! The hotel should not rent this rooms anymore!
Unique and different. Good food although pricey as well. Lot's of things to do and see. Lot's of channels in room. Bed a bit small... We went during a special event and spent extra for the winter "chill" event. avoid at all costs. totally overpriced for what you get. Most disappointing part of our trip.
The staff was knowledgable and very friendly. The historical information was incredible both posted and what staff knew. Being able to explore many places on the ship on our own was really fun. Wish there was a microwave in the room.
I absolutely loved exploring! After being out Kate and freezing, it was so nice to come back to a warm and toasty room. Wished I was able to stay longer. My suitcase was super heavy and I got a small blister from carrying it; I kept Hopi g that there would be someone with a cart around to help. It's ok though. A tour guide going through the hallway woke us up in the morning.
It's a cool, old cruise ship. It's kind of a tourist destination in itself. Also, it's really close to the helipad if you're taking the helicopter to Catalina. Overall, the boat felt old and empty and dingy. The bathroom looked a little dirty —probably just age—and there were lightbulbs missing from some of the fixtures in our room. I wanted it to be like stepping back in time, but that wasn't the experience on a weekday. Maybe weekends are better?
Cool old ship. It's old ship, so the rooms are a bit old and not exactly sparkling clean. But the real issue is the Dark Harbor, haunted house event that goes on in October. We were not informed till arriving that are room would be adjacent to this raucous event. From 7pm until 1 am in the morning, extremely loud music, screaming, grass breaking and roaring gas flame would shoot off. It's criminal that the Queen Mary would rent rooms next to this mess. Oh but the front desk gives out cheap ear plugs, so that makes it all better.... not. We were on our one year anniversary and needless to say, were extremely disappointed and frustrated,
I love the concept of The Old Ship and the stateroomsecond as well as it being right on the water. The front desk staff was really rude. He just had an attitude the whole time and didn't want to accommodate us. We thought that we booked a room with two queens but it only had two twins and he was just very snobby about it. The rooms were very hot the air conditioner barely worked. I feel for the price it is not worth it. If they are charging over $200 a night, that's including tax, there needs to be a lot more luxury to the hotel. The toilet did not flush very well in the bathtub was uneven. It really needs a facelift.
The ship was a grand experience! Love the history lots of things to explore. The beds were comfortable! I liked the original fixtures in the room. I can only image the people long ago entering the rooms and using the ship! Food was good! We ate in The Chelsea Chowder House and Bar. Slightly priced but the food was excellent and service was outstanding!!! Paying for the use of the WIFI And parking that seems odd to me because back east those items are free?! Other thing drove nuts--the walls seemed to be paper thin the 3-women in the cabin next to us were so loud!! It was a joy when they left the room or went to sleep!!!! However I understand that would not be an issue when the engines would be humming at sea!!
I loved the feel of the golden age of ocean liners onboard. My girlfriend and I decided to stay the night before our cruise on Carnival the next day, which is conveniently located next to the ship. I wish more areas were open to guests such as the 1st class pool and grand ballroom.

one of the most amazing experience to stay at the host hotel for the long beach marathon. the hotel made sure that the guests who stayed at the hotel who participated in the events will receive a mini brown bag w/ goodies for the race. room did not come w/ a mini refrig nor any mini bar
Location was perfect. Room was nice. Room i was confir.ed with kayak was not available. Required a double and she kept insisting i take a king. Showed her my email.. the she found a room on the underground floor.. that had double veds.. after much hassle. Then after we checked out.. we went bac 2 hrs later to retreive a forgotton jacket and it was missing. Cleaning staff didnt find it.. it was specifically lEft in the clost. Only way it could have dissappeares was if someone took it .
The "Check In" staff was wonderful, helpful, and made me feel welcome. The rooms were comfortable and I will mostly likely stay here again when I visit Long Beach, CA. The hotel is in a great location prior to cruising and/or enjoying the beach. Even though my parking fee was waived, I hope free parking becomes a standard practice.

Went through Kayak to purchase this room. Kayak seemed to think it was a 4 star. It is it not a four star, 2.5 to 3. Took 25 minutes to check in with only one person in line ahead of me, mold in the shower, shower was over all dirty and old, room was stuffy the whole time I was there, parking was 26.00, which is NOT advertised, found out when I got there, Internet was 14.95, which I was advised of that when I arrived although my receipt showed a king size room - Internet. My fault for assuming that if was included. won't stay here again, especially for the rate that I was charged. Hmmmm... Large bath towels

Booked online for a room with a double bed. Reservation confirmation after booking the reservation snuck in "double or king." When we arrived at the hotel, there were no rooms with double beds and not even any rollaway beds. So I canceled the reservation. Kayak may not be the responsible provider, but when the website option selected is room with double beds and that's the primary reason for my selection of the particular hotel, they better have that kind of room available to backstop my booking. Otherwise, it's false advertising. I will think twice before using Kayak again to book a hotel room.
The staff was very helpful and nice. The price was high for what you get at the hotel. I have stayed in very nice hotels that offer a more luxurious feel. Also, there were protesters there outside the main entrance almost every morning around 0700. You could easily hear them and it was quite obnoxious.
The hotel itself was beautiful, and edgy. Everything was an additional charge and expensive. I've stayed in NY and never thought i'd see pancakes sold at $15. I also would expect a hotel to include wi-fi. Water for $5???

Easy access to bus line ( bus line is Clean an convenient) takes you to downtown long beach. Free shuttle to cruise ship terminal. Great pool and pool bar staff. Cool/funky mayan theme throughout.
The atmosphere, view and vibe was relaxing and incredible !! the guy at the front desk was really respectfull and helpfull and even gave us free fresh baked choclate cookies at check in and compt our parking for our visit , think his name was Noor ... Highly recomend and will definitley be coming back soon ! Thumbs upppp

We (either spouse and/or kid) have stayed here at least once a year and have watched it undergo many improvements, it is a wonderful place to stay if you want to be close to the Queen Mary but would like to avoid the noise or prefer a larger room and a pool. Since it is set up like a motel, you have to walk over between buildings and to the pool. The Sunday brunch is fantastic, there is a cute sand area for the kids, decor is cute and the facility always appears clean. I have not used any of the service options (in room or pool side) due to some really bad experiences prior to the change of ownership. During the last stay there was a music festival at the Queen Mary which is to say that it was difficult to get to the hotel and once there, parking was difficult and people were pre-partying around the hotel. We had dinner reservations on the QM and the woman at the front desk offered a golf cart shuttle to the ship. On our way to the room we watched concert goers jockey for a space on the golf cart and then proceed to sit on one another's lap to fit. When we later approached the golf cart pick up area we were relieved to find it empty. A person identifying himself as a manager informed me "this cart isn't working, the battery is out" and then he clarified that it was the only one they had. Lame. In the end we were able to get to dinner in 10 minutes via sturdy Louboutins and the walk path but I would have liked a more professional handling of the situation.
We especially liked the location and the service by the front desk. Fuego is a great place to dine. Unfortunately, we were placed next to a family that were loud and disrespectful until late night. The hotel staff tried to quiet them; however, it took many attempts. It was not the real fault of the hotel; but it did make our stay unpleasant.
The views, particularly at night. It was undergoing renovation of one of the towers. Some noise etc. associated with that although it stopped by 5 pm. The staff at the restaurant was really terrible when I had a late lunch. I have stayed there before and enjoyed good service, but it was quite bad on this trip. I waited for at least ten minutes while waiters walked by me and waited on tables seated after I was. There were only 6 or so tables total as it was late afternoon. At one point my waiter talked to the table next to me about personal matters for about ten minutes and then walked off without coming by my table or refilling my water. My experience with all other staff was excellent. The restaurant staff is entirely responsible for the Okay rating.

Customer service was ok. You could hear the people in the next room conversation. You could also hear the people screaming in the pool on the first floor. The rooms are very dark in terms of color it makes the vibe in the room weird and there were a few spots on the wall it just does not feel comfortable at all the sheets and blankets weren't comfortable nor soft . needs a major upgrade .

The bedroom with the king bed was independent of the livingroom which meant my wife and I could watch television while the baby slept in the bedroom. The crib they brought was sturdy and surprisingly clean. The engineer came in the room to turn on the heater and he was very polite and quiet. Breakfast was good, but not amazing. The carts used by staff are loud and sound as though they constantly bang on things. The cleaning staff was a little loud, too. The heater didn't work, even after the engineer came, it got very cold in the room.

The complimentary breakfast had a great selection, the food we ordered from their restaurant was good and the pool area had a very tropical feel to it. The rooms had a very homey feel to them and very private I reserved the room through Kayak and it took over 20 minutes to find my reservation. We ordered room service on our first day there and they told us to leave the dishes outside our door and they would pick them up....they stayed out there for 2 days
Location can get loud at times, especially when Medevil Times is getting out.
We reserved a suite. the room contained two full beds with a stitting room. they were well eqipped with a small kitchen area, microwave, single serve coffee pot and fridge. Although there were some stains on the carpet, the room was clean overall the room was a bit dated. The spanish style was pretty, but it seemed like they hadn't changed much since the nineties. the beds were kind of hard. They had mattress pads but it was obvious that the mattresses were cheap. There was a breakfast buffet but it is not necessarily included with your hotel stay. We had to wait because they didn't have us on the list for free breakfast, even though i know it was included when i reserved the room. The food wasn't anything special that it needed an additional price tag. For the price I would have expected a lot more. Also, the doors to the rooms are glass, so we could hear a lot from the pool area. also, the floors seemed thin. My two year old was running and I couldn't help but think that the people down below were probably hearing it. There was a sign in the front window that they are going to be under new ownership, so hopefully that means that there will be some needed upgrades
The serenity of the palm trees and fountains surrounded by greenery in the general layout of the entire facility was very pleasing. We loved the size of the room and the balcony sliding door. The restaurant staff was pleasurable, friendly, and personable. The restaurant didn't have item listed on their menu, i.e. strawberry sauce of the cheesecake not listed in the description and the continental breakfast wasn't appetizing as far as looks. When I asked for more coffee supplies they were not provided. The toilet didn't work some of the time and the bath faucet constantly leaked. the palm trees could be maintained a little better.

I love staying here. Every time I travel to Southern California, I always book my hotel at Radisson Suites Hotel Buena Park, CA. It had been a great experience :)

How close it was to Knott's. The beds were hard and the walls were thin but overall it was bad for the price.
Right next door to Knott's The whole property looks like it hasn't been updated since the early 90's... probably because it hasn't. The rooms are kinda ugly. The walls are paper thin. Room service is a joke (screwed up our breakfast order three different ways). The staff can't be bothered. Stay elsewhere and pay extra to park at Knott's. You'll be glad you did.
At night, the hotel/neighborhood was very quiet. The room was clean. The room heater/air-conditioner/fan operated quietly. After 8am in the morning, it got noisy because of renovation work being performed on rooms a few doors down the hallway from our room or possibly on a floor above or below our room.
Nothing! I booked a king room they gave me a double queen saying it was kayaks fault. The matresses are rocks. The fire alarm went off in our room only in the middle of the night, about 2am, and when we called down stairs to remedy the issue security was sent to investigate US, if I wanted to smoke I would have chosen a room that allowed smoking but my husband and I are not smokers. The next morning house keeping woke us up around 8am in the morning trying to clean the room we startled her because she said "they" told her we had already checked out but we obviously had not and check out was not until 12pm. Worst experience ever with a "nice" hotel. We will never go back!
Staff friendly and helpful. Conveniently located next to both Knott's parks and Medieval Times and Pirates. Rooms small and hot. Needed to run the AC full time because my wind directly faced the sun.

The park was close. The room was extremely dirty and dusty. The carpet had stains and the bathtub was disgusting. I was a little upset because The room did not have a microwave and I was unable to heat up my infants milk.
Found a room for a great price a few hours prior to arrival. Located right next to Knott's Berry Farm. Bed was comfy. Room needs updating Plan ahead if using room service for breakfast. We made the mistake of ordering at 9am, which is an hour before the park opens... it took nearly an hour for food to arrive... food was meh. Bring swim stuff. Great pool area for kids... splash pad was nice item to differentiate itself from other hotels. Overall good value for our needs Overall the hotel is in a state of disrepair. Just little things really, stains on curtains, dents on walls, spots on fixtures.

Amazingly friendly and knowledgeable staff. We left every conversation with a smile. Not much, maybe the bathrooms could us a bigger and more modern tub. Us bigger gals can't enjoy a good soak. But over all my boyfriend and I truly treasured out first Valentine's weekend together and were so happy we stayed at Knotts .

The maintenance guy, when we were finally able to get the front desk to have him check out our room, was a fast worker and great to talk to. The bathroom was really nice, aside from the faucet not being screwed on (maintenance guy fixed it), shower gel container they provided was broken, and toilet looked about 20 years old. They gave us a bottle of wine since we were there for our honeymoon. It's really a motel, not a hotel. Room was not artsy, eclectic, or colorful like they advertise- it was brown, beige, and black with only 2 splashes of color in the whole room. Housekeeping sucked- didn't vacuum when there were obvious areas of food crumbs, left the garbage can on the toilet, didn't replace ice bag, didn't notify maintenance of problems with room (he specifically said they're supposed to do that). Internet was practically nonexistent and we were only allowed two devices. No HDMI hookups on the tvs. Front desk wasn't very helpful and didn't notify maintenance the first time we came to them with problems. Curtain was ripped so 6 inches of light poured in the room. People smoked outside our room so the smoke smell got in our room die to the 1 inch gaps around the door. They overpriced every service ($2 to wash laundry, $1.75 to dry laundry, $3 minimum to use their computer and $0.50 for each additional minute, $1-1.50 to print per page, etc.). No hot tub, just the pool, though the pool was nice.
The hotel was nice, clean and the location was close to downtown long beach, staff was really friendly and helpful. Our stay was great, beds were really comfortable and our room came with a fridge and microwave. Would comeback to stay for next years Long Beach marathon. Only thing wrong was the walls are a bit thin you could hear door close from other rooms down the building. But other than that's no other problems.

The hotel is very clean and has everything within a mile that you would ever need (Fast food, restaruants, malls etc. Its a very safe place to stay with the family and close to the freeway. On saturday night they have a band that played until 11:30pm that is very loud through the hotel and you can here them in your room. Not sure if this is every weekend or just that sat.
Restaurant, good food and drink, very friendly staff in bar section and the breakfast the next morning was good as well. where do I start, my room faced west , which is the front of building and the glaring light that lights the outside of building also lit my room all night long...Upon arrival I was greeted with a note on my pillow that read something to the effect, that because I had the do not disturb sign out they did not clean my room, HUH? I just checked in, Needless to say I didn't feel comfortable that my room was cleaned. When I brought this to the attention to management the next morning, she seemed to think no big deal they probably just left the wrong card, I asked her "Would you feel comfortable?", little to no response. The other problem was that the air conditioner could not cool the entire room, especially the bedroom (its all the way in the back), which left me hot all night, where a sheet was almost too much, Overall I would not stay here again except it is so close to where I need to be once a month. For the price I would expect better.

Wifi did not work in my room and hotel had no explanation or help to fix problem other than to give me free wifi. Useless. Room had mildew smell. Front area of suite is not functional.
Comfortable, spacious family rooms ideal for our family. Area great with lots of places to eat and shop close by. Felt safe walking at night and had great road links. wasn't aware karaoke was on at the weekends. A bit noisy especially for younger families. But it didn't go on too late.
This is an older hotel with lots of style (leafy atrium with koi pond) but all the suites have been recently renovated. Wonderful, included breakfast and free-happy hour every evening. All that for about $100 per night. This place is hard to beat
Room was clean, roomy and comfortable Hotel is under big construction project. Lots of dust and construction noise during day. Bar and restaurant amenities not available for now due to construction. I'm sure once it's all done it will all be great again
The room 221 is the worst, is next to the washing machines and they work 24h.
Very nice hotel. I thought I lost my sun glasses. Staff was very helpful and even gave me 2 call backs to let me know they had looked but couldn't find them. I thought that was very nice. Room was very clean and spacious. Bathrooms were clean and spacious also. Beds were very comfortable. I will definitely stay there again when I go to the amusement parks such as Disneyland or Knotts Berry Farm. Food line for omelette took a long time.

Loved everything about this hotel! Place looked brand new and up to date. Staff was so friendly. Everyone greeted us and was so helpful. Breakfast was great too. I even told the staff how wonderful they were and that I would come back again.
It was clean. And staff was very kind . I paid in advance online for 2 Queen beds, and checking in at 5:30 we were told they only had a king! Then we go to park our cars and the spaces are like for Barbie's car !wayyyy to narrow spaces & posts that many cars have played tag with! The location is just ok...tO far from Pine Ave & 2nd Street where all the restaurants & shops are ! And they charge $15 per car per day to park in that horrible parking structure! They had NO shuttle for around town locally. The walls are thin, we had neighbors on both sides of us keeping us awake all night, laughing & partying!
Excellent facilities. Very efficient service. Only one restaurant/ bar open in the evenings. No restaurants/ bar nearby. Consequently, service was slow.
Are room was right next to the service elevators which kept us up all night long. Only thing the staff would do was discount the valet parking charges. Won't stay there again!

The staff had no idea how to handle booking.com customers and treaded us like second class customers. The breakfast buffet is weird, it's one buffet for continental and american breakfast. As booking.com customer, you are not allowed to touch the american breakfast items.
The staff was rude and even lied about the rooms I booked. I had booked a room with double beds only and they gave us a king. I told them I had comfermation that it was double beds and they said it I could not find them and print it out, it was just too bad for me. Luckily, I did find it....it said double beds only....so they finally gave us the room. The staff person to.d me I booked a king...I I to.d him he was wrong and he hung up. It was a bad experience. I had to speak to the manager and the home office and print out the paper that promised me a double bed room before anything was done. Never had such a bad e perience.

Location to destination, good surroundings/area. Enjoyed the warm cookies offered at front desk. Had a billing issue at end which they corrected and honored our agreement. Was happy about that considering the start was shaky. The room service was below expectation, also only 1 small trash can and pull out bed was overdue to be replaced. A bowl of food sat on floor in hall for over 24 hrs. down hall. I mentioned it to the front desk on day 2 and when I returned it was gone.

The concierge personnel are wonderful. The breakfast was superb!!! There was a crack/hole on the bathroom shower wall. The bathtub was not so sparkly clean compared to all the other hotels I have stayed in over the years.

I was dead sick for four days while I had to work 11 hours a day. When I got back to the hotel all I could do is sleep. The bed was comfortable and the pillows were stellar. The room was quiet and temp control was great. All good.
Carpeting,.... most places are of dark and gloomy color. For future renovation, please consider brighter, more sunny color and decorations.

If are planning to stay at this hotel you need to budget for paying for the Internet access, $3.00 for a small bottle of water. No frige or microwave in the room. I refused to pay for their Internet access, I found a public Hotspot but they blocked me. They will try to make every penny they can from you. I will never stay at this hotel again. Every time you try to change the tv channel, it takes you back to their advertising channel and try to sell you a movie, very annoying.

lower priced and location was good no microwave, beds were so very very hard, we even ate our 3rd night and drove home day early because we didn't want to wake up stiff like we had, beds didn't seem like queen either and we were located in 2nd building which seemed like it was secluded from anything the hotel offered.. won't be staying here again
The pool was great. The courtesy shuttle was free & the bell captains were very accommodating & dropped us off where we requested within a useful radius. The onsite shop was very handy. Check in & check out was fast. The hallway & carpets are looking a bit old & worn.

Staff was great, place was clean and quiet. The location was alright, probably 5-10mins drive to go out and eat, shop and stuff. It is a great place if you're on a business trip, not really for families and kids.
The rooms were clean and comfortable and the staff was super helpful. Full service from all employees 24/7 no matter what I asked I got help. I spent a week there with young kids and everybody was great.

Everyone on staff was so very nice, pleasant and eager to please. I have come to stay at this location every year for the last 2 years on Christmas and love everything about the team and the hotel. Keep up the great work!
The location is in a business type complex, very quiet and just the right distance away from the main road. I was pleasantly surprised when we walked through the doors. The lobby looks modern, they have a convenience store, they have restaurant/bar that plays the major games and they even have a interactive panel that shows you a feed of news, weather reports and even a flight status checker. The room was fairly nice and very clean. We stayed in the junior suite or something like that. Upon entry, there was a cool couch, nice desk and TV in the front room. Then through the shuttered door is the bedroom and bathroom. The bed wasn't the most comfortable, but I didn't wake up with back pain either. The bedroom has a nice sized TV in it. The bathroom is fine, but the tub is too shallow for a bath (if that's what you want). There is a full sized mirror right across from the closet. Of all things, I really liked the wallpaper in the room. I felt the wallpaper was newer and nicer than the 4-star diamond resort I stayed in the week before. While that won't matter to some people, it really sets the tone of the room for others. Also, there are outlets everywhere...huge plus! Overall, I would definitely stay here again. The only downside was that our room had a view of the wall. I didn't go here to stay indoors, so I didn't really care.
