I went to the Lincoln, CA location to pick up my car as I had reserved. instead of a compact car, I was told the only vehicle available was a F-150 4 door 4x4 truck. I told the clerk that I would not be able to park this vehicle in the city and I did not want to pay for the extra fuel. I was sent two cities away to Roseville, CA and all they had was a full size Charger. I was not happy, however I did not have a choice. The sales tax was higher in Roseville, so I had to pay more than quoted. I don't understand why I had to drive so far to get the vehicle and still could not rent the vehicle I reserved and had to pay a higher price too.Hertz

Nothing. I ran into a friend outside, had nothing to do with renting a car. Only positive thing to happen near hertz.Cons:
Worst customer service ever! First off, stock reservation time is 12pm on website, got there and dude went to lunch. Got there atm1pm and watched this dill holeifrom hertz screw up two reservations in front of me! Then got to me, and screwed my payment up somehow. Worst experience ever. Left without a car, and wasted hours. Dont rent from these idiots, especially in auburn!6.0 Okay

We specifically wanted a mini van for various reasons. When we went to pick up in the AM, the employee decided that we would probably be just as happy with an SUV because there was a shortage of minivans. No, we wanted a mini van and we had good reasons. A simple phone call would have given us options. But instead we had to find an actual minivan in another town, go there, and start over. This delayed our departure aproximatley 4 hours, and we missed an appointment at our final destination.4.8 Mediocre

Car had noted front end scrapes when I took it. The front bumper proceeded to come apart, I was afraid it would fall off. I returned the car a day early because I was uncomfortable driving it. "Oh that happens all the time.", said the employee. No offer of compensation at all.Avis

Pros:
The thing I enjoyed the most was that there was no outrageous amount of fees tacked on for a different drop off location. Very reasonable rate, newer clean car, best car rental experience so far. Would definitely rent from them again in the future.8.8 Very good
