Pros. The breakfast was good. Overall the hotel experience would've been good, except the a.c. wasn't working properly in our room. We woke up several times throughout the night, asked for a room change. The offered to fix it, but nobody came, and they didn't switch the room for us.
Pros. I liked how clean and well maintained the building and room were.
Cons. No continental breakfast.
Pros. The staff was friendly and the hotel was located in a good area that's close to the interstate. I was able to get to downtown Austin in no time.
Cons. Had to pay for parking
Pros. I appreciate the cookies.
Cons. The hotel is a maze, you have to pay for parking, and there was trash left over in my room. One of the more disgusting was an old, sticky beer bottle right under the bedskirt that I stepped on as I got into bed. Stay elsewhere.
Pros. Our room was clean when we got there. AC was nice and cold, I forgot my blow dryer and was happy they had a regular conair blow dryer instead of the baby ones hotels usually have. Front staff was friendly and helpful while we checked in and out. Didnt stay in the room much but while we were there we didn't have problems.
Cons. We thought it was the one more downtown but it was only about 3 exits down from the doubletree that is downtown so it wasnt too bad.
Pros. Good value
Cons. This property is beginning to show its age. Needs some maintenance work.
Cons. The AC did not get cold and was miserable at night. They were remodeling our floor so we were woken up at 7 am by construction workers loudly working in the hallway. Very unsatisfied and disappointed with the hotel.
