The pick up area was hard to find. The facility was filthy and ill kept. The clerks were surly and tried to upsell every customer leading to a huge line. Cars were barely cleaned. The Toyota we rented was dirty - it had been run though the car wash and left wet. We were happy to get a car though. There were very few at the facility. When we returned the car, no one greeted us and it appears we were billed twice for the rental and the voucher not honored Definitely will not be renting through Kayak again.Reviewed Apr 18 2026

The customer service at the airport were not helpful or very friendly. I was not asked about my experience when I dropped the car off or given a receipt. I was just told to go to the orange wall to get to the terminal. When I picked up the car the person was speaking very low and was not explaining where to go to get the car. He was also very annoyed when questions were asked. It is also very dark in the rental garage.Reviewed Apr 18 2026

Every agent was friendly with both pickup and drop off. The pickup area was a bit confusing on how to get out of it and onto our designated highway, but we finally made it out, with the help of Avis employees!Reviewed Apr 17 2026

The rate I booked at Kayak was not honored at Avis. They said it was a private corporate rate and I needed to show proof I worked there. They told me they are seeing this issue with many Kayak rentals I will no longer use Kayak to book another reservation for any travel.Reviewed Apr 16 2026

I stood at the counter for 20 minutes for them trying to find a car for me. Finally they gave me a different vehicle than I rented saying they didn’t have any. I walked out to the car the rented to me and in the parking lot was a Mazda c5 that I rented. Not sure why they don’t have a better system to know what they have available.Reviewed Apr 16 2026

I had flat within 10 minutes if not sooner of driving it off the lot, car had to be towed because there was no spare, then had to be ubered to hotel, then back to airport the next morning, someone should have brought me a new rental. Upon getting my replacement I felt like the women behind the counter were trying to say I was scamming the system, even asked for proof of my texted voucher from Avis.
