Pros:All everyone needs to know is that Avis is really BAD at Amman Airport.
Cons:I do not recommend renting from Avis. The list of issues with Avis is very long. They have some few employees who try their best but this is a poorly managed operation and it is shameful that a reputed brand like Avis does not act to prevent their reputation to be dragged under that much. Dirty cars....I am not talking about dust but insupportable dirt. Their cars are grossly dented and ill maintained. Do not count on anyone to pick up any number listed anywhere in the documentation provided. They are liars as well with no sense of customer service. They had to change my car 4 times and the last one was just best of the worst...They gave cars with a 1/4 or less gas tank. I filled up and they cair car broke down. They did neither refund me nor filled up the gas tank of the replacement vehicle sthat they provided 5 hours after I luckily met their representative at the hotel I was staying to complain about the lack of responsiveness. I really do not even feel like going into more details. All everyone needs to know is that Avis is really BAD at Amman Airport.
Cons:Car was tiny and dirty. For the price we paid it was not good. Inside and outside the car was dirty. The radio didn't work and neither did the high beams. We were stopped by the police who told us that the car's license had expired. Very expensive for a terrible car
Pros:renting Avis in Amman Jordan is very disappointing. The car should not be allowed to be rented. I had no choice but to keep it since there is no Avis support in Jordan. Avis should pull their name from the country.
Cons:Make sure the car and reservation are made with a reputable company that honor their reservation. Avis did not honour my reservation price and the cars available are old and maintained properly. You are better off renting from a local car rental company than Avis.

Pros:reservation was ready. pick and drop off was smooth with no problems.
Cons:Car was not in good condition. It was not safe to drive. the right door doesn't close and it is a threat to the personal safty of the front passenger seat. Avis should look at better maintaining their cars, and not to allow unsafe vehicles to be rented to customers.
Pros:the car is mechanically well maintained and is a new model.
Cons:At the time of hand-over the car was not clean from outside. It was quite dusty. The hand-over was slow and delayed, they were clearly either under-staffed or deliberately working at a slow pace.

Cons:Car was dirty and no gasoline plus not foot mats. I know it's Jordanian style !!!
Pros:Customer Service and drop off and pick up was good.
Cons:Many dents and scratches were all over the car. The car used up a lot of gasoline due to the poor condition of the motor. I felt every bump on the street. The steering wheel was shaky. The handle on the inside of the door for the passenger side were broken. Too many things to continue..

Cons:Bit of a wait at the counter and no GPS available. T-Mobile users beware; Jordan is not on the international plan. Data could cost thousands of $$
