Very beautifull design out side and inside even the rooms are amazing, sound proof rooms, big one, has wifi for free, very comfort beds i will stay in it the next visit. Very close to Europa fira train station. It has free save box, plazma tv,mini bar, hair dryer. I really like this hotel. By the way carrefour is also next to this hotel you will find any thing you need there It is location is far from the center of barcelona but don,t worry it is next to Europa fira train station from it you can go to the center of barcelona
Very nice hotel, quiet, clean and good facilities. We booked a double room and "double bed" was 2 beds pushed together which were on wheels so kept coming apart.
Fantastic view (we were at 20th floor).
The design of the hotel is excellent, the room is clean & comfortable. We had an enjoyable stay.
Nice hotel with friendly staff Temperature in rooms was hard to control
Great design, excellent views, very convenient for the Fira, close to the metro but far from the center. Far from the center but this is not a problem as there is a metro station nearby
We had been in Europe for three weeks and this was our last Hotel we stayed in. They had the biggest bath room, shower and really nice bath towels. I would have given them an excellent rating on value but our bill/statement did not have our final amount! So i know this is strange not to know how much you paid. We had prepaid via internet and when the clerk checked us in the amount was lower than what the prepaid amount was, either amount was a value.
Unique design, beautiful architecture NO
Everything! Staff was professional, courtesy and helpful.Room was quiet, very clean and comfortable. Couldn't find anything to complain about at the moment.
Aesthetically, the most unusual design. Ultra clean lines in room decor. A shower to die for. Gorgeous vertical greenery in open air space between floors. Luscious rooftop pool. No.
Modern clean look. Breakfast a bit pricey, but very good. A bit far from the center, but manageable.
Cool look. Clean, modern, different. The AC in the room wasn't very powerful. We had to keep the small window open at night so it could cool down. It was a little far out from all the 'happenings' in town. It was a 15 euro cab ride every time. The metro is close, so that is an option also.
Roof top pool and bar where nice. Atrium in the middle of the hotel. Unique window and electronic blinds. Access card slot for using in room lights and electronics. Nice vibe. Food from room service was not that good. It was 10/15 minutes away from night life. Not much going on or to do near the hotel.
Friendly staff Breakfast could be slightly more diverse, but was good nevertheless
The breakfeast !!! would be nice to have hot breakfeast too. Like baken and eggs.
decoration receiptionists are not very friendly
Fast reliable wi-fi for a sensible price (12Euro for 24 hours). Helpful and professional staff. Shower and taps both sprayed out sideways.
We liked the breakfest
Very good hotel. One can hear the noise of the close WCs
The hotel was clean, comfortable and efficient. The lifts came quickly and it was near a metro.
Friendly staff, size of room, free soft drinks in room Location was not ideal for me, but that was more to do with me not doing my geographical homework!
Wireless internet was available in the room for 12 Euros for 24 hours. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. 18 Euros by taxi to airport. Quiet area. AC not working real well, but, by opening the window, we had a good breeze.
I liked its location, its cleaness, its breakfasr and most of all its value for money
Very stylish room and comfortable. Good location.
Nice shower. Free shuttle was 55 minutes late even though the hotel is 11min away from the airport in traffic. We were polite when dealing with them. They were rude and short with us. Breakfast not included. A/C broken in our room... they said they'd work on it...we slept in a 28° Celsius room all night. 30 at 1100am the next morning before we checked out.
We loved the look of the hotel and the beds were very comfy. Our room on the 9th floor had an excellent view and it was an extremely convenient location for the Sonar Music Festival. We would definitely stay there again. It was a little difficult to figure out exactly what the light fixtures did. Also, you have to leave a key in the room in order for the air conditioning to keep the room cool (otherwise, you come back to a possibly steamy hot room).
free airport shuttle toiletries were poor quality - left hair feeling greasy. hand cream was runny. the shuttle bus left me and my family on a street corner somewhere near Las Rambus with our suitcases when we had paid to go to plaza la espanya. The driver did not speak english and we had never before come to Barcelona. It was a frightening is disheartening situation. In the end, we had to take a taxi to the plaza la espanya.
Airport shuttle & down town shuttle service poor breakfast selection
The shuttle service from the airport is terrible. No information about the shuttle pick up at the airport. Called the hotel 8 to 10 times regarding shuttle location. After picking up, the hotel receptionist, Enrique just hung up several times. Had to go to 3 different locations at the airport for the pick up. Upon seeing the shuttle, the driver would not wait for more then 2 minutes,
Room very modern and chic. The Nespresso coffee was a nice touch. The early morning shuttle to the airport was great and is a key factor for us choosing this hotel (we have stayed there a few times). Price is also very good. Although we never seem to have time to use it, having a fitness room is a plus. Location to the local tram (Europa) and shopping centre is great. My wife and I stayed in a room with 2 single beds put together. The mattresses were poor It would be great to include a decaffeinated capsule for the coffee machine. Room service costs for food were very very high.
Close to Metro and restaurants.
Rooms are nice, view is nice and the transport are ok if you dont mind the train and subway Shuttle service for picking you up at airport or Rembla is lousy. You call them, they say 10 minutes and it takes an hour. From La Rembla, we waited 1 hour 45 for nothing and had to pay 20 euro for taxi even if we called and they said 20 minutes. The manager did not make any excuses or offer any compensation for our troubles, and even suggest we call the wrong place or never call , even if i show her the business card of the hotel with the number that we called, So we are unhappy with the shuttle and the way the manager responded to our complaints about it.
The location was excellent and Airport shuttle very helpful. On time and without cost. The outside of the Hotel makes it appears as a 4-star hotel, however, once in the room it becomes obvious that it is a 3-star at best. Minimal amenities and budget.
I had the opportunity to have a chat with the director of the Hotel and he was a very nice guy, very open and friendly. The Service at the Restaurant was great. In the bathroom of our room (219) it was always a terrible smell, like the fumes of the sewer system were coming out somewhere there. The bathroom was quite clean but the smell was always there.
I liked that the room had modern decor. The staff was great, there was a heated pool and gym, and it was close to public transit. it was easy to get from the airport to the hotel on 1 bus, and equally as easy to get to the touristy parts on one bus as well. The pool closed at 8pm, and the sauna did not work. Also our bed was 2 smaller beds pushed together. Would have preferred one larger bed.
Checking Out.... The restaurant does not open until 8.30pm...In the wellness centre the sauna was locked and the controls for the steam room were locked behind a timber frame...the hydro pool wasn't working.....the business centre internet access was not working...2 lights in the room were not working.....the barman was doing the dining room, room service, and setting up the conference room so when you asked for a drink it seemed like a big deal......the lady in the brown suit behind reception needs to learn some customer care tips from the junior receptionist who was very pleasant...the glasses from a drink we had at 7.00 pm the previous evening were still on the table when we were checking out the following morning...
Eurohotel Gran Via Fira is located halfway between the BCN airport and the RCCL cruise terminal making it nicely situated for a pre-cruise stay. There is a nice little park with paved paths and benches right next door to sit and relax. Without question we would stay here again on our next visit to Barcelona!
- breakfast was adequate - fairly quiet and has blackout blind which helps sleep - staffs were helpful and very friendly - has a modern theme - rooms are simplistic and clean - bathroom was clean - while fairly close to the exhibition centre it was still a quite far to everything else, including the train station - room was opened and cleaned despite having the no disturb sign put up - lacks any coffee/tea making equipment - mini bar has too little selection with barely any food items (especially since there are no shops close by) - while elegantly designed, the shower door doesn't provide enough shielding from splashing, resulting in me creating a little puddle outside after my first shower
Comfortable hotel, close to airport. 46 bus can get you from hotel to airport. Transportation to airport from hotel also avalable and it's free at the morning till 12 am. Inside Swiming pool also avalable.
I enjoyed the horel from every aspect. It is very usefu they have shuttle to the airport. Very easy to reacg to the city of Barcelona.
woke up bitten by mosquitoes all 3 nights we stayed. The electrical outlets did not work, I had to sit in the hall and charge my phone. The 2nd day I asked If they could send an electrician to please fix the outlets, they fixed one out of the 4 in the room. I shouldn't have had to ask for this as I had let them know the first day the outlets weren't working. Mosquitos, outlets that didnt work, beds were not that comfortable. ,
The friendly staff The room was a bit small and the terras to large.
Great location for getting to the airport, not so great for sightseeing. Not a great sightseeing hotel.
We never got our picnic breakfast and had to travel a long way without food.
The location. The room air conditioner was not working and the hotel staff didn´t solve the problem until next day.
receptionist very helpful lack of toiletries in room
For the money, it is an excellent choice in Barcelona.
Clean, comfortable. Very difficult to locate. Didn't realize that this was not part of same Travelodge as in US. Chose it to qualify for points/miles.
it was at the exact location where I wanted there is no proper mode of transfortation for the hotel except taxi. one has to change atleast twice to reach the hotel. That was a big issue for a custermer like me who dosent understands Spanish.
To help us to find out the next hotel as we do not like this hotel. Hotel has no luggage storage service, very inconveninent for traveller with lagugage. Internet access is expensive.
Comfortable free parking for guests, good location, pleasant view: Monjuik mountain, english-speaking and polite staff not applicable
Self service breakfast, garage space. Not that we didn't like, just that in your advertising it is not made clear that you only supply breakfasts & no other meals.
Best value for money a good deal A good deal
No clock in room. We needed to catch an early flight and had to use a flashlight to check our watch every so often. Shower did not work due to a broken valve. Did not realize this until trying to use it at 4:00 AM.
Well positioned for Palau Sant Jordi. Shopping Centre very close. Metro 10 to 15 minutes walk depending on an individuals fitness. Not much to offer for breakfast, only basic continental. No free coffee as in uk lodges. However in the area of the shopping centre there some decent coffee bars and restuarants.
