Barcelona Hotels in Sant Marti

The hotel is located in good area, near the shopping centre. The metro, tram and bus stations are right in front of the hotel. The hotel was clean and the stuff was nice. Good deal for the price. I made the reservation of the hotel via booking.com. On the reservation (received from the booking.com) it was written that the hotel was paid on the booking day. When we check out the stuff said that the hotel was not pre-paid and this has caused some confusion as we thought that we will have to double pay for the hotel. The stuff handled the situation good. No complaints about the hotel.

The room view and the variety of the breakfast First of all they've forgotten to park my car... someone mistakenly put the keys in the draw of the cars already parked. Second, the room-cleaners forgot to add more toillet paper and tissues. Apart from this, all was great.

Good scenery no teapot, coffee pot, or teakettle, it is very inconvenient for me.

Location, cleaniness There were no 4 star hotel facilities: No refrigerator,No tea/coffee maker,No safe box( you need to pay 5 Euros per day for that which is not announced in the hotel or booking.com websites) ,No even clock in the room! .The swimming pool is the smallest I have ever seen in my life ; it is 3 by 3 meters dimensions only.

The hotel is quite old fashion, not renewed, not always clean. Rooms are small and essential.

Friendly staff

Quality 4 star for a 2/3 star price for the night we stayed. Per above prices increased 3 fold by the end of the week so we had to move on. Location. While this was fine the directions for non drivers was poor. eg it said it was 4 stops on the Metro from the Centre - it was actually 5.

Nothing Bathroom was dirty with ingrained dirt around the bath. Also the bath did not have a plug and the washand basin was very badly cracked. Bedroom floor was not swept properly and bedspread was marked. (Sheets and towels were clean)

The food was first class and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The location was good for the beach. The hotel was a long walk from the old town which may not suit all, and the choice of restaurants locally was limited

The hotel staff is very nice and is dealing with the situation (see below). Inspiring futuristic and contemorary style of the furniture and high tech. The hoel was open two days before we arrived and it had a few glitches: hear drier not easily available, air conditioning can not be set properly, computer in the room including the lights resetting at night, no coffie machine nor any way to make coffie in the room, towels dramaticly large and heavy (use tinny "italian style" ones).

There is nights club around and the hotel is very noisy when you are in the low level. Then the parking is very small and only small cars can enters. Outside because of the night clubs, this is difficult to park on friday and saturday night. Also, having the cleaning lady enter the room at 7h30am is not something acceptable for a 4 stars hotel I would not recommend to go to this hotel

Staff very helpful

Clean spacious rooms, clean linens. Quiet part of town. Close to the beach. Hot tub was broken for the entire five days we were there. Pool was freezing cold, and staff refused to switch on the heater... saying they never heat their pool in October for any reason. They offered no form of compensation. Be warned - if something is wrong with your stay, the staff here is NOT empowered to anything about it.

Lites goes on and off by itself, toilet flashes by itself. Asked them to fix but they didn't get fixed. It was noisy from music from the bar and outside pool till late at night.

Spacious modern room in a relatively quiet area. Lack of crockery in the room, once provided taken away each day having to then be re requested.

A couple of subway stations from the center of the city. Well localized. Not much going on around the hotel, since it's a quiet neighbourhood, but you can easily access several points of interest, even by walking. Nice and clean rooms and bathrooms. Very expensive breakfast, which I believe to be the case in most hotels in Barcelona, I don't know why. It's much cheaper to have breakfast in a café. Room was kind of chilly and the heater didn't seem to do much.

Good location, close to the city center, metro station, nord bus station. Decent and quite comfortable facilities, free wi-fi.

Nice hotel. Fit my needs (a normal room to spand the night in). Location is good - 2 minutes walk from athe Metro, 7 minutes to a the Glories shoping center. It was my first internet reservation and all went very smooth. Tidied out room even though we left the "do not tidy" sign. The cleaners are not aware that the beds have floors beneeth them. My sock went nder the bed and changed its color to "dusty"...

The beds were really firm. Thin walls. We could hear every toilet flush above us.

The hotel was very clean The pool was very small and was out of action. I found the hotel too clinical for my taste.

Decor colors and style is reminiscent of a cheap disco. Bad smell in the rooms. Very expensive per night with no complimentary breakfast. Would not recommend to anyone.

Ease of access by Metro to most locations, room quite spacious, breakfast various and plentifull. In walking range to sea front, beach. Use of lift based on the same card to access your room, Internet in room not available, TV channels=waste of time. Front desk personnel can do with a bit more effort towards guest friendly attitude. At the moment, and probably for a few more months there's a construction site on the streets in vicinity, although not very noisy but confusing for taxi drivers not familiar with this neighbourhood.

Close to the beach. very good size for the rooms, clean, good standard. the personel at reception should talk a bit more english, nevertheless, they are very friendly and helpful.
