Cons: The theme is stupid, childish, already dated and slightly confusing rather than the attempted "cute". What dope thought that this was a good idea and PAID for the execution? This is the perfect location for a classy and efficient business hotel and instead they put up an amusement park that isn't amusing in the slightest.

Pros: Unique Space Theme keeps kids and adults entertained. Rooms were well laid out and comfortable. Hotel was quiet. Breakfast was excellent, cost 15 Euros, but so good that we ate there twice during our 3 day stay. Staff was VERY helpful in getting us where we needed to go on our short post-cruise stay in Spain.
Cons: Every noise in the room was heard by everyone, including the rest room and shower. An exhaust fan of some sort would have helped with this and would have ensured the shower was not also a sauna. Also, there was not much privacy in the shower area, so everyone had to turn around when each of us got out of the shower to dress. A privacy curtain would have helped with this.

Pros: Everything was awesome, the location was superb, the metro is under the hotel and there is Taxi station right when you exit the hotel, the tour bus station is one block away and there are alot of restaurants in the metro station like MacDonalds

Pros: We loved the proximity to the main attractions and the great rooftop restaurant/pool area.
Cons: The decor was a bit weird. The bathtub/shower sill was far too high and was dangerous (we were traveling with an architect and we are convinced that this height does not meet code). In addition, the gym was very poor. They only had a few machines and 2 of them were broken.

Location is great, walking distance to everything but in a more upscale area so out of the chaos of La Rambla.

Pros: The hotel is in a terrific location right on La Rambla near the pier. It was close to restaurants and bars.
Cons: Breakfast was a bit disorganized and was very busy; many items had run out. The staff worked to fill everything as quickly as possible. Because our booking did not include breakfast, it cost 13 Euros.

Pros: This hotel was a great surprise in terms of quality, price, location, and service. It's located on a great street for shopping and dining, and only blocks away from the airport bus shuttle. John at reception was very kind and friendly, circled lots of things on the map of Barcelona for me to see, and recommended some restaurants. The free glass of sparkling wine was a nice touch as well. The room was fantastic, with a beautiful soaking tub and comfortable bed, and a balcony that opened up onto Passeig de Gracia. It should be noted that this room is great for solo travelers or anyone who doesn't mind an open concept room. The shower and toilet have frosted glass doors, but the tub is open. It may not be private enough for some people, but I thought it was fine as I was solo. The mini bar wasn't too expensive either, which can be hit or miss at many hotels, and had s great selection of snacks/beverages. Overall this was a fantastic stay in Barcelona and the hotel made it that much better.
Cons: The only negative to the hotel is completely out of their hands, but there is a new retail store being constructed below, so after 8 or 9 am, it can be a little loud. It looks like it's just starting, so it may go on for quite some time. This wouldn't stop me from stating again by any means, but if you party all night and want to sleep in, it could be tough.

Pros: Normally don't write reviews, but this hotel is impressive in it's simplicity and functionality. We were in the city in a perfect location, within walking distance of all the sites anyone would want to see in Barcelona. However, the hotel made us feel as though the city was ours. There was a feeling of exclusivity the hotel offered in it's design. More like our own private apartment. The staff was so friendly, that it gave the impression they were there just to make you happy. Many nice little touches in the hotel design that gave it a modern cool feel. Highly recommend.

Pros: The Hotel was very lovely and well decorated, clean and the staff was very accommodating. The hotel bar offered free champagne, water, tea and coffee which was a wonderful and unexpected surprise. The staff assisted us in room upgrades, places to eat and what to see around the city. Wifi was included in every room as well as personal AC that worked extremely well. The room also had black out curtains and while being very centrally located ( a few blocks from the Gaudi House and a 2 minute walk to La Rambla) was also very quiet. I would deffinitely stay here again. Great place for couples or young friends looking to have a good time while still relaxing and getting some rest!
Cons: The bathroom of the rooms where small and not separate from the rest of the room, and the doors to the toilet and shower were opaque glass that was see through when wet. Other than that no complaints.

Pros: Staff was responsive and professional to the problem but it was not a room that felt finished to check guest into. Felt like I got the internet third party booking treatment on room #1.
Cons: The sitting room was missing one of two chairs. I know because the same room one floor higher we were reassigned to had both and a lamp. The showers have granite floor covers and they move and make horrific noises and in the case of our first room concealed bugs and debris that smelled and looked horrible until the water made the bugs obvious on the edges with the debris. Nightmare! They moved us but it left us wondering about the next room and hotel generally. The next room actually had a bed for two as we were confirmed for, proper amounts of chairs, lamps, etc. Did not feel like it deserved a 5 star rating for many reasons. Won’t go back

Pros: The greeting upon arrival at the hotel was excellent. The staff were extremely friendly, and the room itself was very clean and comfortable, if small. The location is good. Access to the centre of town is via a very pleasant walk up Las Ramblas. It is also an equally pleasant walk along the promenade which is just next to the hotel.
Cons: All the rooms have kettles. Upon plugging in said kettle I received quite an alarming electric shock followed by a loud bang, sparks and smoke coming from the plug socket and a consequent power cut in the room. Whilst I accept these things happen as electrical appliances get older and need replacing, what alarmed me was the total lack of concern on behalf of the staff when I notified them that of what had happened, and of the fact that I had actually been electrocuted in their hotel room. In fact their only response was to send up a handyman to replace the kettle and reset the fuse. I mentioned what had happened twice at the reception desk and quite frankly other than showing some slight surprise they couldn't seem to care less. Another disappointing factor was the view. Many of the reviews, and indeed the website boast a fantastic panoramic view of the Barcelona skyline, whilst in reality the view, even from the 8th floor, consists of a massive pylon (which sits directly in front of the hotel) and an average vantage point of the Barcelona skyline at best.

Pros: The hotel is ideally situated at the bottom of the main road leading to all the shops and city centre. You can walk to most attractions and the night life is amazing. The bathroom in my room was amazing too with luxury bath and shower. The hotel staff are very friendly and will help you with anything. I would definitely stay there again. Spotlessly clean!
Cons: Take some teabags as you only get 2 per night with powdered milk. Breakfast was extra for my stay and eating out is a lot cheater than the hotels food. But the hotels food is excellent as a last resort. Just minor issues, other than those I have no real complaints at all about the hotel as it was amazing.

We came from the cruise ship port and the taxi fare was only $11 Euros. The hotel staff are very friendly and professional. The room we had was a large suite with a separate living area. The room was modern, clean, with a comfortable bed and very well appointed. I would hesitate to staying here again on our next trip to Barcelona.

Pros: We really liked this hotel: completely redone. The location was fantastic: a leisurely walk to Rumblas as well as to the boardwalk/Mall area by the bay. Lots of small convenience stores within a block or two to buy water, etc. Mcdonald's is also 5 min away in Rumblas; food is expensive in Barcelona, so it was nice to have this close-by with nice outside tables. The rooms and bathrooms are very specious with either a comfortable full size bed or two twin beds. The roll away beds are limited, specify the number of people staying in the room if you need one.
Cons: The staff was very accommodating and gave us rooms next to each other, but they have no connecting rooms.

Pros: Just the pool but it was quite small ( just around 15 pool chairs )
Cons: The hotel management and staff just TERRIBLE. El hotel ha abierto sus puertas sin personal suficiente ni cualificado para ser un 4*SUP. Al llegar; baño estancado y caja fuerte sin funcionar hasta la mañana siguiente el problema no fue solucionado porque solo cuentan con un chico de mantenimiento para todo el hotel el cual solo trabaja de mañanas. Durante nuestras 3 noches de estancia nuestra habitación tan solo fue "limpiada" una mañana. ( cambio de toallas y cama MAL hecha). Al llegar al hotel a las 3PM y ver que nuestra habitación seguía sin hacer llamè y llamé y llamé ( lo digo así porque hasta que te cogen el teléfono es mejor bajar y ponerte a la cola lenta e infinita) y llamé y llamé a recepción y de muy malas formas me contestaron que primero se hacían las habitaciones de check out y a continuación las de huéspedes que continúan su estancia XD!!!!! LOOOOOOL ósea se , que si te quedas en el hotel por más de una noche olvídate de que te limpien. Desayuno en el hotel: 2 zumos de naranja y un sándwich 25 EUROS!!! ni en el Burj Al Arab de Dubai ( hotel de 7*) te cobran esa barbaridad. JAMÁS recomendaría este hotel, aún está MUY lejos de poder ser un 4*SUP , un hotel sin personal suficiente ni cualificado a precios desorbitados y trato horrible hasta tal punto que deseas que tu estancia llegue a su fin lo antes posible.

Pros: Everything with hotel was great except my only complaint was they would not give me an iron told me I had to get that service paid for which annoyed me the most.
