Pros (+) The Fay building was from like 1902 and it was super cool to stay in the attic. Felt clean and the bed was cool. Old time furniture and a cool hang out vibe
Cons (-) The couch was a little sat out. That could have been a bit better

Summary of reviews
Guests say
Most guests appreciated the hotel's excellent location, proximity to UC Berkeley, and the beautiful gardens and outdoor areas. However, many reviews mentioned negative experiences with service, including unhelpful staff and reservation issues. Cleanliness was also a concern for several guests, with reports of dirty rooms and poor maintenance. Room sizes were often described as small or cramped, and the lack of breakfast or inaccurate breakfast information was a common complaint. Overall, while the setting and location are highlights, improvements are needed in service, cleanliness, and amenities.AI-Generated from customer reviews
