Cons: "Flight attendant sent me to Carousel 2 for baggage after I volunteered to send my carry on luggage to be checked. Carousel 2 did not have Alaska’s luggage. I waited for 20 minutes and finally went to lost luggage and found it. I was upset about this."

I was able to figure it out on the map option on the screen, but I would've liked to hear it verbally. Only suggestion I would have is an announcement on the plane for which baggage claim belt our luggage would come out of. I may not have heard it though, if there was an announcement. It was not difficult at all to figure out once I was in the baggage claim area, however if this was known while we were still on the flight, I prefer to know this info!"

Cons: "Well, it's always difficult when one has to change terminals and the plane is delayed. It's even harder for those of us with mobility issues. I use a knee scooter and I was in a lot of pain by the time we finally boarded. The crew seemed just a bit confused as to what was going to happen to my scooter, although it worked out just fine. I couldn't get the in-flight wifi to work either of my two devices, nor could my seat mate. :( We were served food very late in the fight -- I had about 15 minutes to eat before the seat tray had to be put up. But worst, my flight home has been cancelled and rescheduled for a much later flight. As mobility device user, I'm limited on who can pick me up and when. This means an over two hour wait for my pick up person, which is very hard on a one-legged person. I asked Alaska if they would be willing to waive the fee for a different flight when I can get a prompt pick up person with room for my mobility device. They said they would not. I'm a little surprised, as Alaska claims to be ADA and military friendly. I'm not sure I'll fly Alaska again."

Complimentary snacks were were substantial and service was constant. I hate going to the bathroom on the plane and it was so roomy for airplane bathrooms. The pilot was hilarious!"

Cons: "Kayak a howed my gate as something that didn’t exist at the terminal. I went to a kayak help desk to have a ticket printed that showed my TSA precheck because it wasn’t showing on my mobile ticket, and no one was there to help. I waisted for 10 mins. It then took me nearly 2 hours to get through security. I asked if I could get through quicker and was told I could not, despite it being passed my boarding time. I then ran to my gate where I waited for another 10 mins (no one was there, again) and then an employee came out and said they couldn’t let anyone board once the door was shut. He then directed me to the delta help desk (there was at least 20 people behind me who missed their flight). I then had to pay an additional $75 to get a later flight. The whole experience was awful and I’m disappointed with Kayak and the gate confusion, but mostly Delta and the lack of customer service."

And now I'm stuck in Portland with nothing but my wallet, keyes and phone, and a small bag of toiletries given to me by American (which should have been United's responsibility). This is the FOURTH trip with United where they have screwed me over with either baggage loss or itinerary issues. NEVER using United after this trip. Next time I book, I'd rather just go with the next price up if it means not flying with them!!"

We proceeded to board the plane on time and then pushed off the gate and sat in the runway for 45 minutes fly to sf and sit there on the runway for 30-45 minutes. Which meant that we were on the runway more than in the air. I would never pick United again for my flight between la and sf as it would be much quicker and easier with southwest, Virgin or JetBlue."

Cons: "The Chicago airport was terrible both times. Things not clearly marked. Staff not friendly or available. Long term parking very hard to find and pricing very unclear. Didn't realize we would have to pay additional for just a seat and carry on luggage"

Cons: "Terrible experience...flight delayed by over 3 hours; no one informed Us of the delay when we checked in to get our boarding passes. Luggages took over an hour to come through the baggage claim carousel... only 4 luggage initially came through the fan belt."

Cons: "The flight was delayed 5 hours, and we were offered a $100 voucher that would be emailed to us immediately after the flight takes off. I approached the desk to verify with an employee pre-boarding to ensure I will receive this voucher. She was annoyed with me from the start repeatedly saying it will be emailed after takeoff, which was NOT my question. My question was to verify that the email on file was correct. She had a very hard time getting this to her head. However, it has been over a week and I have yet to receive this voucher. Unless, I receive this voucher I will never recommend this airline."

Pros: "An engine went out and the flight was delayed and passengers deplaned. I got to my destination after there were no longer transportation options. No one knew who to send me to for customer service, and they wouldn't offer to help get me home."

Cons: "had to wait around forever until our plane showed up and we were able to board. also i was under the impression that if i paid to check a bag it was a flat fee for my round trip ticket but i had to pay 40$ extra to carry on a bag each way, not worth it"

Pros: "ORD to/from SFO, both ways the flight was delayed by 4+ hours"

Cons: "My first flight was canceled without notice, it was a 1:30AM flight. Had to sleep in the check in area of the airport until we could get our next overpriced tickets that will not be taken care of by their 3 options they give you. This shouldn't have been placed as the cheapest tickets available with out big red warnings that it is only cheap if you have no bags. $40 more would have given me free check in bags and a far better in flight experience on another airline. Spread the word to never fly Frontier."

Pros: "On mobile safari online checkin doesn't work. Customer service reps on phone incredibly cannot check a passenger in. I almost missed flight for this. Most uncomfortable seats I've ever had to sit it for four straight hours. Arm rests are hard plastic, seats don't recline, hard seats too. And it's not cheap despite discomfort"

Cons: "Frontier has to be the worst airline I've ever flown on. You have to pay for everything "extra". Your ticket doesn't even give you a seat, you have to buy your seat extra, carry on is extra... Etc. might as well charge for using their tray tables while they are at it. I can honestly say I'll never fly with them again."

Cons: "At the time I received this survey, (3 hours after my flight was scheduled to leave) my flight had not even arrived to O'Hare and I had no information about when it would arrive or what caused the delay"

Pros: "What did I like? A safe and smooth flight from San Fran to Chicago and back."
Cons: "The seats are cramped and don't recline. I'm an average weight and height and normally don't have such a hard time resting despite long flights, but both flights were uncomfortable. In addition, the flight from Chicago to San Francisco was HOT and no drinks are offered without payment - everything on Frontier is extra $$$ - a bit of a turn off. I'm an avid Southwest customer and I think I will be going back to them even if the flight 'seems' cheaper when searching Kayak. I appeciate you asking about my experience. I love Kayak, but won't be flying Frontier again. I'd rather spend up to $200 more for Southwest to get: comfy seats, free bags, cabin temperature comfort, on time flights, drinks and snacks. It's worth it."

Cons: "The price was good, before you realized the price was a lie and they scam you by charging $45 to carry on or $40 to check a bag! That meant the overhead space was unused and they were just charging more just to be inconvenient. The plane was stripped barebones. The crew were rude, did not smile, and gave me attitude for hitting my elbow with the drink cart. They charge for even getting a soft drink. Nothing about the experience said "we're serving you." It's worse flying a more expensive airline because the rediculous bag fees make it just as expensive and even things that should be free like pleasant staff were lacking."

Cons: "I dislike the hidden charges everywhere along the way. They position it as tailored to customer needs but I see as hidden charges. I am surprised that they don't charge for using the restrooms on the plane. When all said and done, it is not a cheap air fare. The customer service was not empowered to help customers. The flight crew was practically unnoticeable. Not even sure what the crew did. It simply is nothing positive that I can say about Frontier. I will even go further to say that if I see Frontier on Kayak, I will not even use Kayak again."

Pros: "Initially price on round-trip fare, but price quickly goes up as soon as you arrive at the airport and have to start paying $45 for a small carry on. Crazy--nothing good to say"

I'm surprise I could pee for free Seats are terrible/tight, uncomfortable, cheap, and overall the worst w exception of Spirit Sloppy uninspired customer support at ticket counter, although flight crew was okay."

Pros: "The upgraded seats were spacious and the price was low"
Cons: "Our flight was delayed four hours because of a maintenance issue, which happens, but the staff was so uncommunicative. They knew the flight was delayed for 30-mins before they made an announcement. I asked the staff if they planned to let everyone know and she actually said "I don't want to get too many questions". The other reasons I probably wouldn't fly with them again: - Excessive fees for carry on bags - No entertainment at all - No wifi"

Cons: "had to wait on the tarmac while the flight before us departed. But we were allowed to get up while we waited so that was good. Frontier's website is very difficult to navigate and use. The folks at SFO said that boarding passes printed from Frontier's website are difficult for the scanners at the airport to read -- so I did not get to take advantage of TSA Precheck, which was annoying."

Cons: "Had to pay extra for carry on! Which they checked anyway. No wi-fi or tv options. Basic drinks and crackers were up charged. Delays and slow baggage claim process. Overall savings on fare not worth the hassle or deceptive price practices. Will never fly with Frontier again."

Pros: "Took off on time reached before schedule, price was unbelievable ,very comfortable all great."

Cons: "Worst seats in any plane I have EVER been on (and I travel ALL the time). Those steel seats with 0 cushion have resulted in me having the worst back pain and being on bed rest for the past 3 days on severe pain medication with no signs of improvement. I will never fly Frontier again."

Cons: "I did not like paying $5 more for my checked bag. Although I did log in to see if I could check in more than 24 hours before the flight nothing suggested that I should pay for my bag though I could not do seat assignment at that time. I did not like that I paid $5 for set assignments inferior to what my friends got by taking their chances. Although I understand your motives, not showing what the free alternative is seems a bit smarmy. The one hour delay on the tarmac before we could get to a departure gate was not directly your fault, but it was annoying."

Cons: "We got to the airport early and had to sit on the tarmac for 45 minutes. Once we finally got off the plane, we had to wait for luggage for another 30 minutes."

Cons: "The web site is deceiving in that it makes you think every seat is an upgrade and no regular seats remain. A distinct "no upgrade" choice needs to be present for people to see. It makes one think, how much money Frontier has made from people due to their purposeful website's lack of clarity. This is pretty pathetic."

Cons: "It was embarrassing not being able to pay cash. The seats don't recline and it is a shame that we have to pay for carry on. We also pay for small snacks. It feels like a nickle and dime experience."
