Annie, Dec 2021 - Best Western Historic Bayfront
Location EXCELLENT, PERFECT, walking distance to all fun. rooms had an "old" smell that was very uncomfortable. pillows were too small, were unable get the shampoo/conditioner of the container (lol), towels etc were adequate. Room was clean, bed comfy, staff and people were very friendly, Something should be done about the smell in the rooms. All in all, a lovely place that I would recommend.

Pros (+) Remodeled rooms, very clean, staff was exceptionally kind, beds were comfy, location was good. Took a quick shuttle to the historic district, but for the price it was worth it.
Cons (-) One thing - I just wish there was a safe in the room.

Pros (+) Great location, parking available
Cons (-) No safe, breakfast, fitness center or elevator. Very poor construction of the building. Doors were not sealed and the walls were thin. So being on the first floor you could hear people at the bars right behind the hotel clear as day until 2 am. And the phones in the room didn't work (which they didn't mention) so you couldn't complain. Rooms were very humid, so bathing suits & towels stayed damp. ...

Pros (+) The location and views were great. Parking is a bonus--we were able to leave our car and walk to most of the sites we were interested in seeing.

Anonymous, Jan 2016 - Best Western Historic Bayfront
Pros (+) The waterfront view as well as the price. There is a trolley stop right out front and a delicious cafe in the corner.
Cons (-) There is a bar behind the hotel that bumps their music until 2:30am on a week night that makes the room vibrate and makes sleeping unattainable. Front desk said it would stop before midnight, but it did not. The street behind the hotel is filled with loud drunks because of the bar, and the bathroom window opens to the street. We will not stay here ever again because of this. The music was so loud ...
