Excellent location. Helpful staff. Very clean
V pleasant surroundings with helpful and friendly staff; excellent food and reasonable selection of well priced wine. Nothing worth mentioning
Good location in a nice town Good bar/outside area Some evidence of reasonably recent updating/refurbishment in bedrooms and some public areas. Sunday breakfast service slow due to limited staff numbers - although in the main the staff were enthusiastic and friendly enough. Evening meal perhaps towards the expensive end for what it was - but quality and quantity was fine.
Good atmosphere in the hotel; staff were welcoming and efficient; food was of a pleasantly high standard, very comfortable bed and oodles of parking.
Ambiance; decor; ease of checking-in/out and so on Staff - no idea of customer service really; breakfast was poor (should be made to order); lack of flexibility in delighting the customer (can't have coffee cos we've put chemicals thro' the machine!_...
my wife and myself booked into the Langton Arms as we were attending the Royal Signals reunion at Blandford camp we were made very welcome, the room was extremly comfortable and the food was excellent and we really enjoyed our stay The only thing which marred the visit is not really anything to do with the Langton Arms but the two times we used taxis to go to and from the camp we felt the fare was rather on the High side for a 4 mile journey £16 and £20 respectively but as I said this is not anything to do with the Langton Arms just something we feel they should be aware of.
