Lovely small hotel. Nice breakfast in typical English room. The shower lacks power.
Great staff, family welcoming atmosphere
Arrived at 10.30pm staff available to show me to my room. Room was clean and warm. Breakfast goo. Overall better that I expected.
It was very well appointed and spotlessly clean. The staff were very friendly and the breakfast, especially the mushrooms, was very well cooked Room was a tad warm for my tastes
The manager, who appeared to do everything, was very helpful, allowed us to check in early because we had to change for a funeral, and even printed out a map showing the way.
What a fantastic hotel. Service was brilliant. Check in available at 10.30am. Taxi booked prior to arrival and easy check - out. The breakfast was tasty and plentiful. The nightclub was very lively and busy. Room was spacious and comfortable. L'occitane toiletries too! Overall a pleasant stay.
location location location for my HQ office
Relatively clean I chose the hotel because of its supposedly superior pool and fitness room, but they closed right after I arrived. Why would an airport hotel close its facilities at night?
Close to the airport The rooms was far too hot.
Nothing decor very tired, noisy
First off I couldn't book the room through the hotel. I was forced to book with third party online. My bathroom had flooded when I had taken a shower, due to the shower threshold. I had upgraded my room simply just looking for a king bed. The only room available was a sweet which had cost me 275.00 pounds. They only compensated me 50 pounds for a soak and wet bathroom that I had to mop up with all the towels in the room.
Close to the international airport with easy access to cheap shuttle bus service. Rooms were clean and heating/cooling easily adjusted. Staff were friendly and good with children. A good menu for kids. Rooms are very small, even for overnight stay. There is no lift so luggage must be carried up two flights of stairs which is back breaking if your traveling overseas with a large load. They claim to be 4 star which is a bit of a joke... More like 2 1/2 to 3 mainly due to the fact it is dated (looking worn), lack of lifts to upper levels and lacking 4 star facilities. WiFi was a bit dear. Most places in this pricerange where we stayed offered free WiFi.
Slick check in, very clean and comfortable
The food was great, and the service terrific too. Doors a bit scratched up.
close to the airport for our departure home the next day cost means to make our own coffee and tea mini refrigerator nice sized bathroom had to walk along way down a hallway to access an elevator to the 2nd floor and then had to walk back down another long hallway there was urine in the toilet in our "clean" hotel room and the TV was all ready on - it left us wondering if our room had really been cleaned no extra pillows or blankets
Reasonably priced, comfortable, very close to Heathrow No complaints, would stay again.
Close to the airport. Elegant in its own way. The rooms are a bit small.
The concierge staff were very helpful and friendly, but something need to be done for the check in and check out front liners. We checked in on 25 \nov 2010, arriving about 10 pm plus from Paris enroute to scotland, the check I staff was not very friendly. We checkd out early morning on 26 nov 2010, the check out staff was also not friendly. A simple eye contact would have been helpful for the hotel management.
the strict minimum!! 14 GBP for wifi
The bed was inviting and clean and comfortable. The breakfast buffet was lovely! I didn't have a computer with me so was grateful I could come in free of charge to write an email. There was nothing I didn't like.
Location The hotel was very noisy and the housekeeping staff kept slamming doors keeping us up. In addition we asked a server about the menu and she rudely told us to ask someone else and walked off.
Returning to the US from a European trip, we needed to transfer from London Gatwick to London Heathrow late at night, and then depart the next morning from London Heathrow. The Hilton Garden Inn was ideal. It is located close to Terminal 4, and gave us a good place to stay for the night. Staff are very helpful. I can't think of anything
Very convenient, great location to airport
location for airport
The Staff were friendly and very helpful. Food is great at reasonable prices, everything looks smart and well organised. it is right next to the tube station which was convenient. The rates are low and you get much more than you expected for this sort of price. the breakfast was great and plenty of choice. Basically I would use this hotel again if I am in the area – very pleasant stay.
Checkin was quick. Food at the bar was good (see also what I did not like) I picked the hotel because of the name, I stayed in excellent Jury's Inss before, also because it was (said to be) close to the underground & heathrow, Only at the exit there was no indication where the hotel was located, and the hotel was not visible. So I had to ask around, before finding the hotel. It was a bit farther away than described. At check-in they told me the restaurant would be open until 22h30, and gave me a key-card for my room that did not work. When coming back down to the restaurant I was told it closed early, so I had to go to the (overflowing) bar, and had to wait to get a seat. My room was close the the elevators, and poorly insulated, and I heard the elevators moving up and down, and stopping at my floor all night.
My wife needed to see a GP and they quickly called one out for us. They were very helpful.
Brand new, lovely hotel and a superb Garden Inn. Comfortable and crispy clean. Nice staff at the bar and check in. Easy access from Hatton Cross Tube stop. Read a review that transportation was bad and have to agree. Expensive at GBP 4:50 each. Worse yet was the SURLY, RUDE, UNHELPFUL CRETIN that drove the bus. Awful.
It was just what we needed after a long flight, clean, spacious, modern and comfortable.
The convenient possision, the room was very quiet, no airport noice. The bar area not very acceptable for eating a light meal
More for convenience,as I have to catch early flight. Proximity to the tube is the other plus points. none
That is was close to where i was working Very poor value for money the hotel is very tired and rubish food!
The reception area is attractive, it's a pity the rooms do not reflect this. The room was very shabby especially the bathroom and in comparison to a Premier Inn which is much cheaper the rooms are cramped. The breakfast area on Sunday morning was manic and not an enjoyable experience with what seemed like hundreds of pre school children. It would be nice if you had a separate family area so couples can enjoy a quiter and more peaceful experience. I was not impressed with the charity donation of £1 being taken automatically without reference and the cost of two very expensive hot chocolates! £4.30 each, most hotels have this as standard in the room.
Terrible traffic noise which made it hard to go to sleep and woke me up around 6am
very little shower intermittent, like something from the 1950s. Smelly room. Poor waiting time to be served in restaurant...Shocking stay
Good room, breakfast was excellent Slightly noisy at night
A very good Hotel, and the staff were excellent. Nothing important, only a cracked sink in the shower room, but you expect one or two faults.
As I have worked for hilton I have stayed in many around the country and I would have to say bracknell is 1 of the best. Very modern, loveley rooms and the staff were superb
well organised get ride of the smoking bedrooms... how you can still have them I dont know by law....
The roomwas nice, and the bed comfey my booking was on under my guests name, and the receptionist wanted to send me to wokingham........i found the experience embbarrising
The breakfast was excellent - the room was good The bed was very uncomfortable
Food was good but breakfast very overpriced at £17 a head. Room and service good.
excellent location, very good service breakfast was a little pricey
location. Ease of parking. Room very quiet Dinner a little expensive, breakfast far too expensive to buy
Proximity to most things The bath/shower could do with a tidy-up structurally. Looking a bit tired.
Clean - excellent facilities - staff helpful polite and friendly.
Convenience The asking price for a full breakfast was daylight robbery. Even your staff told where to go to get a cheap breakfast. We were on holiday and on a set budget.
Our room was clean and comfortable and the hotel was handy for Ascot. A foreign girl at reception came across as rude and somewhat aggressive, perhaps unintentionally. The cleaning staff were rather persistant on Monday morning.
Nice to have stayed in a four star hotel that was worth four stars Beer flat
The hotel was clean and comfortable. We stayed at a weekend and the entrance to the Hotel is bizarre, coming up from the car park the metal grill is across the entrance and you have to go outside to get it. Two of the staff were particularly helpful, but generally they were uncommunicative and unapproachable. The breakfast is extortionate at £17.50 for continental or cooked. The continental option choice is limited and certainly not worth £17.50. We attended an event at a local golf club and were able to purchase a freshly cooked english breakfast for £6.50.
Excellent location for our needs. A very well maintained and decorated hotel. Around £40 per night cheaper than I would have expected for such a hotel.
Where I wanted to stay
Locations No loo in reception. I was desparate to use one but had to wait in a q before getting my key and relief!
that the staff got us a room early as we were going to ascot for the day night staff were more interested in smoking outside rather than being on the desk
very family welcome warm and sincere
The staff were friendly and efficient. The room was clean and adequately equipped. The breakfast was excellent. Price. I was charged £60.00 for a one night stay even though it was advertised as "from £29.99". No one explained the different pricing structures.
No mobile telephone signal.
Walking distance of town centre. Visitor attractions within easy driving distance. Pleasant and helpful staff. Not enough staff for amount of customers on Saturday morning at breakfast time. Buffet breakfast preferred.
Very comfortable and clean rooms, staff were very helpful and friendly, good location, good breakfast selection, would definitely use this hotel again, excellent value for money.
It served my purposes. It was clean, comfortable, practical and good value for money.
staff very friendly and service was good. Excellent freshly cooked breakfast. Room was spacious and clean. The room had been recently decorated and consequently smelled of paint or new carpets, which gave me a headache. TV reception was poor.
Excellent decor. Room was spotless and staff very helpful thought menu in restauarnt was a bit strange
The food was exellent.
A wonderful little hotel in beautiful grounds. The staff were very friendly and efficient, especially in the bar and restaurant, and the night staff who were able to provide drinks and snacks in the early hours of the morning on our return from an event. There has obviously been major refurbishment carried out which is lovely but could be extended to the lift and reception area which lets down the overall quality a bit. The food in the bar/restaurant was excellent. We will certainly stay here again. Everything was perfect except we found it a bit difficult to find, could do with more signs en route?
They stayed open till my arrival at 11:50. The room was of a very high standard. Nothing really. The hotel was easily found via SatNav though it could have been an issue without it. It was worth the short drive out of Bracknell for the comfort of the room. I personally like a radio im my room the tv appeared to offer radio but this was then unavailable.
Location and attentive staff
the room, setting & location
The clean and friendly enviroment and staff.I also liked the lack of pressure to check out, have breakfast etc sometimes hotels can pressure you to keep to exact times Stirrups didnt. The keys were very bulky possibly to aviod them being lost but it was slightly inconvient to have to ask at reception everytime I wanted to go to the room.
Couldn't fault anything. The food was excellent, great location, helpful staff and very nice spacious and well decorated rooms.
Everything, wonderful hotel and location, close to Ascot races no
Did not like the fact that you did not pass on the information regarding our need for a family room - we were with friends who also required a family room and this was not catered for. Hotel staff had to react upon our arrival - apparently, they had had four such cases that day, from customers whom had all booked through yourselves. Please provide an explanation as to why this was. Also, your site indicated that we could have a free breakfast - on inspecting the prices, the breakfast was not free at all - you had simply upped the room price to 'reflect' a free breakfast - very misleading on your part!!
Registration on the web site was very difficult. The site was not allowiong to reserve for 4 days in a row and I had to go through an agency.
First ever stay at a Premier Inn and if this is the standard for the rest of the chain I will be back! Efficient, helpful and friendly staff at the motel and the adjoining pub/restaurant. Everything I needed after a very long journey and an ideal place to quickly unwind. The breakfast was of decent quality, quantity and value
Staff were very freindly. Room was clean and served a couple and two small kids
Nearest available place (when I booked) to stay to where we were going to - Ascot The smell in the room was very unpleasant - musty. Chef on first morning didn't know how to cook poached eggs and they frazzled the mushrooms.
Close to airport, clean and upgraded rooms. Dinner was very good and the breakfast buffet was great.
Executive lounge small room.
Location State of repair/decor. Food---terrible !!! Seemed cheap for a Marriott --now understand why.
Room is Comfortable and modern. Lobby and pub/bar very spacious and comfortable. Endless corridors and small rooms for such a huge hotel.
Location This hotel is old and not very clean. I am surprised that Marriott has let this hotel go this far in dis-repair. Not worth 200 USD a night.
Comfortable room and fast internet and ease of taking the public bus system 5 minutes to the terminal cannot be beat. Hair in the bathroom and in the tea cup suggested it did not get cleaned well, and about a 45" wait to get checked in made the stay less than ideal. Both are probably one-off issues though based upon reviews available.
Quite up to date Small room
Staff attention to detail, quality of room and location
What a great location. As a weary traveler it's nice when everything goes smoothly. Staff was very accommodating .
Location, lounge 1.the hotel could not find my kayak reservation so I am Not sure that I paid the kayak rate, in fact there is a good chance but I was charged twice and I'll have to find some way to reconcile this. For some reason the kayak reservations were not acceptable for their confirmation numbering system, the staff acted like they never seen a kayak reservation. 2.none of the hotel had internet access whatsoever it was down all night. Only one staff was manning the concierge desk and with the internet down the line was very long, yet it seems like the staff didn't put 2&2 together....perhaps you should increase the number of people at the concierge desk when the internet is down. At times the concierge would just just disappear I think probably hoping people would just disappear as well. Myself and another guest helped ourselves to the concierge desk computer print out our boarding passes for flights. 3. the entire hotel smelled like smoke despite the non smoking room. 4. the television didn't work in the hotel room and looked quite dated even at the kayak rated this hotel is not worth the money
Location Service in the restaurant was very efficient and friendly We were not informed that the hotel is going through a TOTAL renovation. We were initially placed in a recently finished room. After a real ordeal to get there, we found out that our room reeked of chemicals (gave us a headache within 5 minutes and watery eyes), still had some construction debris and the bathroom door handle was not installed. Had to carry all our luggage back and had to be moved to a different room.
Big lounge, helpful front desk service. Discounted pricing relative to other hotels in the area. Outside decor and current renovations give very poor first impressions. Room was typ Marriott-type accommodations. I'd recommend spending the extra $10+ to stay elsewhere if possible, but would consider again at same price range when renovations are complete.
food excellant bedroom first class comfort, could not fault any of the staff all most helpful.
Always a pleasure to visit Pennyhill. Beautiful bathroom & bedroom. no sewing kit in room. Overpriced food that was very oily. They did charge for the portion that was returned.
It has a calmness seldom found in hotels today
Fabulous Spa - possibly the best I have ever visited.
The staff were excellent - we were attending a wedding and that was perfect. No air conditioning - bath plug did not fit plughole, shower very difficult to use room extremely dated - got the impression that we were allocated one of the poorest quality rooms.
We really enjoyed the relaxed feel of the hotel. The service in the restaurant was average as were the accompaniments to the meal.
The traditional room was still of a good size and even though most rooms were booked the spa was not crowded at all...most relaxing and able to truly chill out with partner. The price of treatments and food in the brasserie is quite expensive, be prepared to splash out in this luxury hotel!
spa area & availability of treatments hotel staff were in the main unfriendly particularly at the reception desk. I am glad i didnt not pay full price.
Meal in the brasserie was excellent The noise from the room above ours was intollerable. We could here them walking up and down the room and flushing their toilet. We were kept awake until 3am
The food at the restaurant was excellent - a fantastic meal.
It was totally fine for an overnight stay at an airport hotel. The pull out couch was actually more comfortable than the beds themselves. The air-con did not work in our room and they gave us a small fan to rectify the situation. The front desk staff was also very helpful on the phone, but never followed through with the requests we made.
The staff were polite, helpful, and unobtrusive. Also they were well turned out. The evening meal could have been better, however the full breakfast was excellent
Location of hotel, which allowed quiet ambient atmosphere during the short stay
Good service and a decent room. Free wifi. Overall, I was there for 2 days before I left England so it served its purpose. Check in was supposed to be at 2 pm. I got there around 3:30 and still had to wait about 15 minutes before getting my key.
Comfortable, clean hotel. No real complaint about the hotel itself but it could be better signposted from heathrow/M4 and the junction
The staff in reception is really rough, especially some guy from indian or middle east, ask the staff to let me join the novotel club for 3 times, but he did not anything and lie to me.
Extremely polite and service-oriented staff. Convenient location. Good value. Flexibility in accomodating a family of four in one room, a rarity in Europe.
Location adjacent to M4 -good for connection to London but tube connection better than bus routes. High taxi fares in the locality because of this High taxi fares-charged £28 for 7 mile trip.
Convenient for our touring itinery.
The staff were very good. Public areas ofthe hotel a bit tatty but the rooms excelent.
clean, modern and comfortable
Free parking, perfect location for our visit, good breakfast, very friendly staff, reasonably peaceful spot Our room was fine but could probably do with bringing up to date a little
good location.spacious comfotable rooms not a great menu choice
Decent breakfast No headboard, no bedside table, no double glazing
Very friendly staff and most charming colonial furnished hotel. I can recommend this small family hotel, clean and good atmisphere.
the trust bar was good so was`the english breakfast.
Charming, old style building and interior design. Reasonable service. Continental breakfast consists of simply two pastries and tea. No cheeses, boiled egg or other appropriate breakfast items.
Friendly staff Nice surroundings Very hard bed
How quaint, an honesty bar with a little book for you to note down the dinks you have.
Friendly staff, good food, a good experience
The staff were very pleasant and the food was excellent. The rooms were uncomfortably hot during the night due to the heating being left on.
This is boutique quality hotel with new amenities, at an amazingly low price. They do this, by offering small, but very nice, rooms with single beds. Its about a 10-12 min walk from the Hounslow East Metro station (4 stops from Heathrow), which isn't actually that bad. Fare is 1.5£, taxi is 20£ or so. (Turn right when you exit Hounslow East.)
We specifically asked for a non smoking room but there was evidence of smoking smells in the rooms, probably in the furnishings and this was very unpleasant.
The surroundings were beautiful and very peaceful. An observation - the shower over the bath was functional but a bit dated and not in keeping with the other marvellous room facilities. I also felt that there could have been more information about amenities - laundry service (if any), surrounding churches, doctors, pharmacies.
The surrounding were nice, the facilities were good too. I was very upset by the fact that when I turned up to the hotel I was highly embarrassed when they told me they never had a reservation for me even when I gave them a reference number and they contacted you, I had to pay for another room. This was infront of a friend of mine and was highly embarrasing for me. The pillor on the bed had some sort of stain on it as though it had been used previously
Good clean premises. Efficient and courteous service. Recommended.
Location, comfort, amenities Toilet did not work efficiently - but quickly rectified.
I only stayed overnight on business, so used only a few of the hotel facilities. The leisure facility looked good
grounds were beautiful staff hardly spoke english, air cond not cool enough.
Any issues was resolved straight away I had to request dressing gowns and table goods which was in the package
flexibility and helpfulness of staff
Nice Hotel friendly staff
Very nice hotel, and served my purpose well as an overnight stay to be close to Heathrow for an early morning flight back to the States.Nice and quiet, even though it is so close to Heathrow. Don't know who's fault, but when I arrived, hotel had no record of my reservation. a little scarey, as I was being dropped off by my parents, after a 5 hour drive from South Wales, before my flight the next day, back to the us. After probably 15 minutes, the receptionist made a new reservation, and all was well. The other thing that was not good, was that I did not get my 6am wake up call, which could've made for a bad situation, as I was catching a plane! Also, it was not easy to get to off the M4...got lost and ended up on the m25!!
Had to wait for check in, had no record of room with breakfast booked over the internet but found booking was in first name. good job I printer copy to show.
Plenty of facilities; restaurants, gym, spa and shop. However we chose the hotel for its locationa nd the shuttle service. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Thought the internet was poorly priced, i.e. too expensive.
The assistance of your staff.Did not like being charged £9.00 for taxi to Terminal one as I thought £4.00 was figure mentioned by your staff.Patrick Madden.
The room was clean and spacious. Check in staff was unwelcoming. Almost was given a smoking room until I complained. Breakfast was expensive and did not live up to the price. The location is far away from the airport and suited to business travelers. Will not book a room at this hotel again.
It was equiped with a very nice staff no breakfast deal in a quite handsome amount of money
Early check in after a long haul flight was not possible
Proximity to Heathrow airport. Quiet. Brilliant breakfast.
We requested non-smoking and breakfast, but it didn't arrange. We waited many time for check-in and check-out.
Clezan, mostly quite quiet, ideally located for Heathrow / m25 For the second time in succession it took nearly an hour to check in as the Active Hotels Booking had not been received by the hotel. Required phonce calls to Active Hotels to resolve. Not what you need at 7pm at night after a long flight etc etc.
Hotel staff generally good. Room ok, but sink drain a bit slow! Hotel could not find my booking on the system at all - I.E. no record of the Active Hotels booking. So check-in took nearly 20 minutes whilst we sorted out a new booking.
Proximity to Ascot races The size of the bedroom.. very small for 2 people. Also the bathroom did not have a bath.
This is the second time we have stayed at this hotel. It is out of the way but castle can be easly reached by car. We like to walk so walked to castle which took about two hours.Breakfast was nice.
the beautiful location, the general ambiance of the hotel and the lovely breakast, also the convenience of easy parking the room was rather small and dark
Wow it was a fantastic hotel and such value.
Very friendly staff They did not give me the executive double room that I booed. Finally they charged me less as a normal double room
staff and decor and spa very noisy.
Peaceful surroundings, good old fashioned service
Friendly, attentive staff, who had local knowledge.A welcoming bar, with a good range of quality bar meals to support the restaurant.
Spa and pool facilities were excellent. Good breakfast. Nice location. We booked two executive rooms. One was very nice but the other was disappointing and in need of a makeover.
