Pros: It was so beautiful and the food was excellent. Breakfast and dinner both were fantastic. The room was great, everyone was so friendly and accommodating. We had a wonderful time and would love to go back.
Pros: The inn was very comfortable and nicely decorated. Staff were extremely friendly and eager to please. The food in the restaurant was delicious.

Pros: Had a lovely overnight stay here while skiing at killington. The staff was extremely kind and upgraded us to a king room when we originally booked a queen, for no extra charge! Breakfast the next morning was delicious.
Pros: Quite, Clean, Traditional Vermont Inn Experience. Service down home warm and friendly. Food is outstanding! Ben's Room is enormous with a king bed, TV, fireplace, and hottub.
Cons: Bathroom was pubpar...and also don't expect traditional bath amenities (soap, etc are in a wall dispenser - very eco).

The restaurant is a perfect spot to grab a bite to eat, and you can unwind with a drink at the bar/lounge or visit the spa tub for a relaxing end to the day. Pros: Very comfortable and coZy, staff was friendly and breakfast was great.
Pros: Staff were extremely welcoming and friendly
Pros: Beautiful, classic Vermont inn in a stunning setting. Staff was friendly and helpful. Inn was super clean and lovely. Delicious and generous breakfast was the perfect start before heading out to the many nearby activities. Can't wait to go back!!
The Vermont Inn is a great choice for a stay in Mendon. Guests can take a dip in the outdoor pool and indulge in massages. A bar/lounge and a 24-hour fitness center are other highlights, and rooms offer MP3 docks and free WiFi.
Cons: DUE TO STORMS INTERNET WAS FLAKY ...MAY OR MAY NOT HAVE BEEN THEIR FAULT
Pros: The room was neat and clean. The building itself is gorgeous and well kept.
Cons: Room was very hot.Turned heat off made no difference. Was difficult to sleep because of the high heat.Asked about it when we checked out was told the boilers needed to run for hot water and was told at least it wasn't snowing in your room!
Pros: Clean, pleasant staff
Cons: Bistro food options could have been better, fresher baked goods
Pros: I ordered a rollaway bed and for the first time EVER in my experience of traveling (and I am a former flight attendant so I've traveled a lot) it was actually in the room when I arrived. I didn't have to ask to have one sent up! Thank you, Marriott!
Cons: Breakfast was not included in the price of the overnight stay.
Pros: As advertised clean room and building, friendly staff, easy check in/out. Will return again!
Cons: Charging $15.99 for in-room movies (that aren't even in HD, by the way) seems a bit harsh. Then again, the room made $5 off of us with their high-speed wifi (at least we had HD Netflix that way).
We liked the hotel, it fit our needs very comfortably and we would stay there again.
Pros: Very friendly staff & very accommodating. Room was spacious, clean, private and nice and quiet.
Cons: Wish the restaurant had more breakfast choices but what was offered was fine and covered all bases.
Pros: Location The hours for food/ bar were good Pleasant staff
Cons: Nothing comes to Mind
Pros: Size of the room
Cons: Wifi kept cutting out on me in my room 238. The rate I think is to high. I did not need the soaps changed every day and the towels I left on the rack could have stayed instead of replacing. This should be an option.

Pros: Location, charm and coziness of main inn, kindness of staff
Cons: Very disappointed to have been assigned, I suppose, to the back-alley motel they refer to as an "annex". I NEVER would have spent $200 to book there had I known ahead of time. We were in town for the funeral of a beloved family member who passed very suddenly and unexpectedly. We booked a room in the inn and even called to verify, requesting to be placed near certain family members. We canceled our first night booking, which my parents took over. They stayed in the inn. When we arrived for the second night we were told we were being sent to the "annex" (back alley motel). Not a very nice experience to be price gouged for a motel room when you think you're staying with family in a cozy inn, especially when the singular purpose for your travel was for a funeral. The room in the "annex" was very drafty, cold. We will not stay here again.
Pros: The location was great, just across from the main part of town and fairly close to Middlebury College. Free wifi and plenty of TV channels was a plus.
Cons: My room was "upgraded" and was up two long flights of stairs. I had to help someone who was struggling with their suitcases because I felt bad she was having such a hard time. I wonder what the standard room would have been like as the beds were uncomforable, the sheets and pad came untucked during the night and bedspread was dated and uncomfortable. I did not get a good night sleep for either of my two night stay. The room was small and nothing fancy, about the same as any other standard room.
Pros: Ambiance. Good WiFi.
Pros: Perfect location for visit to Middlebury College. I asked for one King room with pull out and private bath and we were surprised with two rooms. One had a king bed, shared bathroom and separate room with two single beds. It made for a very comfortable stay for couple traveling with college-bound teen. Shared bathroom locked on each side so we had no issues. Plenty of room and lots of privacy for all. Close to restaurants and all amenities. Highly recommend. Note, we usually don't like Inns but this was big enough that we felt we had lots of space. Thank you.
Pros: We had booked a standard room but were pleased to learn upon arrival that the Inn had upgraded us!
The dinner we enjoyed was delicious and ample. The breakfast, the same. Perfect location for walking around town.
Cons: The heating/cooling unit in the room was very loud.
Pros: This was a central location, within easy walking distance to the small downtown area.
Cons: The pictures when booking all focused on the main building - a historical, sophisticated-looking inn. However, when we arrived we discovered that we were placed in the motel out back, NOT what we had been expecting or wanted. We had been hoping for something more upscale, to say the least. The view out of the small windows was of a narrow alley with trash, rather than the beautiful Green Mountains we had hoped to see. This would have just been a minor inconvenience (for the price, we probably should have expected a less-than-stellar place), but the beds were also very "well-used" (i.e. sunken into the middle), which caused us both to sleep horribly. My husband ended up with a very sore back the next day, putting a damper on our exploration of the area and resulting in a visit to the chiropractor when we returned home. We will NOT be returning to this "inn" for our future visits to Vermont.
Cons: It is old but that helps with the charm. Clean and well maintained
Pros: The hotel was very accommodating when we required extra time to get checked out. Very helpful staff. Great service at the bar.
Cons: Rooms were a little warm.
Pros: Manager lied to me and Priceline.com sucks
Cons: Manager and priceline.com

A bar/lounge and a health club are other highlights, and rooms at this historic inn offer flat-screen TVs and free WiFi.
Pros: If you were alive in the 1970's and miss the decor this is the place for you. 15 minutes to Killington and only a few minutes to Pico - that's really all this place has going for it.
Cons: The sheets had numerous strands of hair on them (from someone's head and - other - bodily areas. Underneath the bed where the vacuum wasn't able to reach had very clearly not been cleaned for a long time.
Pros: Free breakfast and great common room with fireplace for Apres ski activities. CANT BEAT THE PRICE
Cons: Walked through the door got a face full of spider webs. I wanted to walk out as soon as I open the door. The fridge was not even plugged in so I couldn't put our cold drinks in and keep them cold. The web site photos of the rooms did not lool anything like what we walked into.
Pros: Great location, get what you pay for, no frills, just a clean bed to sleep in. Breakfast was nice. Friendly owners.
Cons: Little outdated, maintenance lacking in places (like wallpaper beginning to peel), but nothing major enough to not stay again. No WIFI on one side of building, but that was being worked on.
