The worst experience ever - The car was unusable and ultimately died and had to be towed which took 2 days and incessant phone calls. It was the most abusive disrespectful experience I have ever had and it cost me extra money because their uber driver didn’t pick me up and I missed my flight on top of everything else! For people who have made a reservation in advance, it would save a great amount of time if they could go straight to the parking lot kiosk to get their rental as opposed to standing in line at the rental counter in the terminal.Reviewed Mar 5 2023

My only real complaint was at the service counter in Sarasota. There was no one else waiting in line, and 4-5 people behind the counter, none of which so much as made eye contact with me for 10 minutes. Turns out they were having technical problems - new software - so I understand the delay, but like waiting in a line for a sandwich, good customer service would have acknowledged my presence and let me know that they'd be with me etc. etc. A small detail, its true, but I've worked in customer service and it makes a huge difference - huge - to a waiting customer. Waiting lines continue to be unbearable, 1.5 hours to pickup my rental vehicle. Clerks are very courteous but over worked. I was charged double For this rental. I will contacting the Budget office on Monday 1/30.Reviewed Jan 28 2023
