The truck exterior was filthy!! The interior cleanliness was overall pretty good other than the huge seagull poop on the back seat. Obviously the windows were left open and the BIG bird had great aim. Other than that this was a top 10 experience with Budget. After looking at my credit card statement I realized that I was overcharged. Since no one would answer the phone st the rental location I had to call the 1-800 number. After waiting on hold for 15+ minutes, the agent tells me I was charged for the damage loss waiver, which I had clearly declined, as I had a copy of the rental agreement in my hands. First she told me she was unable to refund me, then she offered to refund me 50% of the damage loss waiver cost. She finally refunded me the cost of the damage loss waiver, after I told her I was holding the rental agreement in my hands. I will try to avoid Budget next time I need to rent a car. Trying to rip off unsuspecting customers, not nice!!!Reviewed Aug 23 2022
