Cons:Could have been a little friendlier and explain more nicely. The charged me twice the rate of the insurance and whatever budget office told me in the us didn’t Applied in the airport. They could have been more Accommodated and helpful
Pros:Reliable and roomy car, clean.
Cons:Totally different car (Fiat Cubo instead of Ford Fiesta) Higher price for insurance

Cons:We booked for a Ford Fiesta/look a like but finally the car was not available ! We got an Opel Moka because we had no choice.. More expensive.

Cons:Very poor communication, as to a few users on here, i signed up thinking i was going to pay $200 for a week with a car and insurance from Allianz, but that was sadly not the case. Once i arrived, i was greeted with $300 of additional fees, Including VAT, city tax (which the rental said was already paid for when i checked out), and also a destination fee given i was not returning at the same spot, ($65). None of this was mentioned when i booked the car! To top it off, they had the nerve to give me a car with 3/4 of a tank (marked full) and have you agree to the policy of $65 to fill up the tank at the end of the rental if it is not exactly full. Ridiculous. Then Avis recommended we purchase an additional $40/day of insurance to ensure our deductible ($1000) is not put into jeopardy if we get into an accident. Just insane. SO in summary, i got a car with 3/4 tank of gas (marked full). Was supposed to pay $200 with insurance taxes fees for 5 days, ended up paying $600+. STAY AWAY!! SCAM!!
Cons:The chaos of Catania airport. There were a gazillion people there. The price was substantially more than I had expected to pay and the car was much larger as well (a real van!) which made driving in some areas a bit stressful.

Cons:They told me that a bump in the rear door was not included in the car pick up checklist, but the bump was there. I’ve asked the local rep to check with the Palermo office but they said that it was closed. They asked me to fill a form which I did. Even the manager was not helpful
