It took an hour for staff to get me through the line and a car ready for use.

Very bad experience. 1.5 hour wait at pickup because staff was on break (not mentioned in opening hours). Very dirty car at pickup : crumbs everywhere and food smeared on dashboard

Car was fine. Waited 90 minutes to pickup car at airport even though I completed the car rental check in the day before arrival.

Loved our car. It was clean and well kept. Pickup and drop off were great. The only thing not perfect was that the inside of the windshield was pretty filmy. But it was a great experience, and we already booked our return trip with Budget at the same location.

I picked up my budget rental car on a Sunday night at 9:30 in March 2026. I easily got onto the shuttle and went to the West Palm budget rental by the airport . As soon as I got there, I definitely saw a long line of customers waiting to meet with an associate to get their cars. There was no pre-check-in available that I knew of. That night there were only two attendants and I waited in that line for two full hours until 11:30 PM. The people that were elderly in line, we were getting chairs for so they could sit down because how many people can stand for two hours.?! it was a horrible experience. The two attendants were kind and said things had been like this for weeks. It had been busy. Someone questioned them and said stop renting cars then if you don’t have the staff to get us out of here.! It should be noted that I went with kayak because it’s a big name and I’ve heard good things. However, when I went to check out, it said I was with a subdivision company called Queeq?! I wasn’t real happy about that because I wanted kayak in the big name. The price was a little bit cheaper than other companies. However, nothing was worth standing in line over two hours for I would’ve paid extra. I would’ve gotten out of line and gone with another company however I felt that since I still had a reservation and confirmation that I would’ve been charged if I didn’t pick it up.

During the pickup 1 agent was at the desk and the line was long. The car had a broken seatbelt.

When we went to assigned car it had been double booked and someone else was getting into it. This seemed to happen to a few people. That was frustrating but resolved. Just created a delay.
