The confirmation did not clearly state that I could use the fastbreak pass so I waited on line for over 30 minutes to check in when I could've gone straight to the front. The agent who checked me in did not even tell me that I had a hybrid vehicle. I was unsure if it needed to be charged before returning it.

Pick up line was unreasonably long and you had too few workers. And serval customers in line before me had to come back to the counter after finishing up because of problems when they went to find their cars. So it took forever.

When we arrived, the line was incredibly long and moving painfully slow. I spoke to another woman farther up in line who said she had been waiting over two hours, and expected to wait at least an hour more. We ended up canceling our reservation and finding other transportation home. Terrible experience with Budget.

Able to book quickly but unfortunately I was charged for being an hour late when I waited for other cars to park and get checked in. No one accounted for my wait time.

Vehicle was very poor condition. Bald tires, dirty in inside and corroded mirrors/ back window very scratched.

Car broke down. Had to wait 1.5 hours in the rain for a tow truck to come get it, then take a bus to get back to our apartment. The next day, I was told I would need to travel over an hour via taxi to Bergamo airport to get a replacement car. I have yet to be reimbursed for this trip, despite sending the receipt to Budget as per their instructions. Once in Bergamo, I was told they did not have a similar vehicle and would have to downgrade me to a smaller vehicle, but after a while of haggling with them, finally got a similar vehicle with an automatic transmission. Finally, I was charged over US$2500 for this rental by Budget when I was supposed to be charged US$750. They have yet to reply to my email sent several days ago to their customer service email address inquiring about the discrepancy. At least pick-up and drop-off were fairly easy.

Car was dirty.the paperwork had a different car on it. The lady at the desk said it was fine. What if I got pulled over? They charged a $20 late fee for being 15 minutes late. I had to wait 30 minutes to get the car when I picked up. They had a sign up saying they were working on a car and to call the number. Nobody answered and they were at Wendy’s eating. Very unprofessional. Will never do budget again. Kayak was great though.

They wouldn’t except my card so I could not rent from them and now I’m out $32 bucks on the insurance I paid for up front. Straight BS
